Oct 24, 2013whenever I try to hatch something the cpu crashes. It even crashes in a new drawing file with nothing in it but a rectangle.

Oct 7, 2013Every time that I open a new drawing and select the path, open file dialog appears empty and If I click "ok" button, then appears the following message:
I´m using Civil 3D 2014+hotfix1.
Autocad Civil 3D 2014 +SP1
Quad Core Intel i7 3770-cpu 3.40Ghz.
ssd samsung 840 pro 512gb+ssd samsung 840 pro 256 gb+1tb hdd
32gb RAM 1600 Mhz.
nVidia Quadro 2000.

Nov 27, 2013when i want to use hatch in autocad 2014 LT, autocad stop working.
wheni chose my settings like pattern and scale everything is just fine.
after i select a field for hatching autocad stop responding.
this happend 9 out of 10 times...
im running service pack 1.

I still can open projects, but can't create a new project.

AutoCAD Inventor :: 2014 Crashes At Launch After Install?
Jun 20, 2013I had both Inventor 2012 and 2013 (and entire Product design suite of both program versions) installed on my Win 7 64 bit Dell Precision Laptop, all working flawlessly. On recieving a copy of 2014 I decided to uninstall Inventor 2012 which I carried out through Add/Remove programs in Windows 7. Then I tried to launch Inventor 2013 and got an 0xc0000005 system error as per attachment 1.
I then went through the entire removal process to completely remove Autodesk products to do a fresh install of Autodesk 2014. This worked out and I did everything exactly as suggested here... [URL]
Then I disabled my Avast virus checker and stopped the process via task manager.
I then did a complete fresh install by right clicking on the Setup file on the Product design Suite 2014 dongle and choosing "open as administator" which I started without any issues. The installation then stopped while installing INventor 2014 with a 1406 error as per attachment 2. I searched the registry for the file mentioned in attachment 2 and deleted it from the registry and clicked retry and the installation finished without any further errors. I then restarted my computer and launched Inventor and again I recieved the 0xc0000005 error.
I then updated Inveontor with the DL21503391 update 1 from here... [URL]
I then updated 360.
I then tried to relaunch Inventor by right clicking and choosing "run as administrator" and proceeded to get the error 0xc0000005 as per attachement 1.
Obviously uninstalling 2012 is where the system 0xc0000005 issue began. I am trying to avoid a fresh Win 7 install.

May 8, 2013I recently updated to Inventor Professional 2014.
The problem I encounter is that Inventor crashes sometimes when I turn the realistic view mode on.
Also the rendering in realistic view mode is much slower than with Inventor 2013.
Are there some ray tracing options that I need to set up?

Then suddenly I crash to desktop at least 90 percent of the time when I select "place from content center" it starts to load then, desktop.

Oct 21, 2013I have a situation where a teacher in our PLTW(Project Leads The Way) who uses inventor products for sometime is not able to save a old current project or make changes to this project, then save it. What is happening is it gives a blue screen error and corrupts the file so it cannot be fixed or opened. We cannot duplicate the process with the teacher, but we can if the file is opened on another computer and it is opened also on another computer at the same time as other pc. However, the teacher states that he doesn't have it open on any other PCs in the school.

Mar 19, 20133 out of every 4 times I select a hatch, to edit properties or delete, AutoCAD gives me the FATAL ERROR message and cannot continue. It is not just in one file, but in any file from what I can tell. Not just imported hatches either, AutoCAD standard hatches as well. I have reinstalled, downloaded whatever service pack I could find. This is so harmful to productivity.

Nov 1, 2013Client machines are windows7 64bit sp1.Having issues with one plotter at this point-- HP DesignJet T1200 HD MFP.
.This plotter worked fine with AutoCAD 2013 Autodesk software uses windows printer objects for printing not pc3s.
Plotter driver is the newest hpgl2 off hp's website for that plotter.
So far crashes when attempting to plot from autocad and revit. Gets the attached message.

Before i say anything let me say that this problem occured last night.Was always there as i had not used the feature before in 2014. I uninstalled ONLY Inventor from the suite and re installed. It worked !!
Tonight i was publishing new parts and then Inventor crashed. Since its crashed again i cant publish or edit part family tables to make additions etc with Inventor crashing.
I believe something has corrupted again within the Inventor 2014 install and i dont know what.
Im looking for some pointers as i dont really feel like uninstalling and reinstalling Inventor to fix it.
I have cleared the cache from users folders etc. Im guessing i need to clear some thing else as well. This crashes in both Vault and local CC files.
3ds Max :: 2014 Crashes When Rendering Hair And Fur?
Jul 6, 2013I recently started trying out 3ds max 2014. On a test scene i noitced that max crashes while rendering hair & fur with an oversampling of middle. After a few tests I conlcuded that max crashes when rendering hair with an oversampling value anything but low. I also tried it with a VERY low hair count (500), it still crashes. I tried thes same scene (saved as max 2012) in 3ds max 2012 and it works fine. It can't be a memmory issue since my system has 24GB of ram, while I've never has such a problem with previous versions of max. or can do a test render to confirm that it is a max 2014 issue.

During the migration to 2014 I received an install error report stating that this subdirectory did not exist and could not be created. Alternately it stated that the new default path C:UsersUsernameAppDataRoamiongAutodesk|AutoCAD 2014R19.1enuSupport will be used instead.
At first I created the Patterns subdirectory where it could not be done automatically. No luck. Then I placed the Patterns subdirectory in C:UsersUsernameAppDataRoamiongAutodesk|AutoCAD 2014R19.1enuSupportPatterns and no luck.
AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Import STM To 2014?
Nov 18, 2013I'm using C3D 2014. I created a pipe network, exported it to Hydraflow Storm Sewer, perfermed an analysis, and have HGL/flow data. When trying to import the .STM file, nothing happens. Here's what it does:
1) Import .STM into a Blank/New Drawing -> Creates a pipe network with correct IE, Size, and HGL/Flow Data
2) Import .STM into design drawing -> Choose to Update Network -> No change in network (IE, HGL, etc.)
3) Import .STM into design drawing -> Choose to Create a New Network -> Does not create a new network
I've tried closing C3D, and checking, still no change.

Feb 29, 2012I have a hatched region that clearly has an area, however the geometry properties indicate that there is no area associated. This a a complex region with many PI's. I really don't want to recreate this area.

I know this worked in 2013. In any panorama, Feature Line Edit Elevations for example, you could select certain rows, or all of them, right-click and get a menu with the options Copy All and Copy Selected. These could then be pasted in Excel, or in my cae HEC-RAS.
We upgraded to 2014 a few months ago and hadn't discovered this until today. In 2014, with lines in the panorama selected, a right-click does nothing. I tried again in 2013, and it worked fine, and I was able to get my work done.
Is this a feature that was dropped between 2013 and 2014?

Aug 1, 2013I have Lidar LAS files in UTM18 and need them in State Plane. Horizontally they come in fine to a drawing with the correct system set. Vertically they are still in Meters. I know a couple of workarounds. But I'm just wondering if there have been any advances in 2014.
We're still on 2012 but I'm testing 2014 I don't want to go through the whole process again if it's not going to work.
