If you unclick that box the navigation cube starts behaving properly but if I remember correctly there is also a variable you can switch between 0-1 to achieve the same effect for all the navigation tools (not only the cube)

Aug 18, 2011Before I save a drawing in AutoCAD Architecture, I hit ZOOM EXTENTS so the thumbnail preview is accurate and so it comes up the same way the next time it's opened. Unfortunately, after doing a ZOOM EXTENTS, SAVE & CLOSE, upon re-opening the drawing, the view shifts downward, which usually covers up the title of the drawing.

Jan 11, 2013I have a CAD 2013 Arch user who is having a strange issue with zooming in or out using the mouse scroll wheel. It doesn't happen all the time which frustrates me because I never see it, but she does. Every now and then when she's working in a drawing she'll try to zoom out slightly, but the it zooms WAY out, so much that the drawing looks like a tiny speck. When she tries to correct it by zooming in, it zooms WAY in. Then for some reason, it starts working fine. This seems to happen to her multiple times a day and I'm sure what to or how to troubleshoot this. She's using a wireless mouse from Logistic and seems to have the current drivers installed.

Nov 5, 2013I'm attempting to write a batch script to add some layers to a pre-existing image and save a copy. I've gone through the tutorial, and have run the demo code from Basic_Batch with no errors, but my (what I think of as simple) script throws an "Error: eval: unbound variable: ?" It also seems to cascade the error to other scripts, as I then get "unmatched parentheses: 2" errors from what I assume to be the script immediately following my own during Script-Fu load. This occurs whether running from batch or clicking "Refresh Scripts" from the Script-Fu menu.
What I could find on this forum and Google suggests that I may be required to 'define' one or more of my variables before using it, but for the life of me, I can't figure out which one that would be, and the error (reporting that '?' is undefined!?) I've quintuply (probably more ~_^) checked my parenthesis matching, but they look fine to me.
In case this was an encoding issue, I've tried saving my .scm file as both UTF-8 and ANSI. I should also note that I'm running Windows 7 x64 in English-US.

Jan 8, 2013My keyboard has a zoom key with + and - selections. I use to use this key in drawings to zoom in and out when in the AutoCAD application when we had Windows XP. Now that I have Windows 7 I can't do this. I can't find out how to assign this key on the Microsoft Keyboard interactive software either. I have the other keys assigned as desired.
Can I still use my keyboard zoom key to zoom in and out in drawings? If so, how do I set this up in AutoCAD, or do I need to do this through a Microsoft keyboard application?

Feb 15, 2006I use Photoshop CS2 to create Designs for webpages. These designs have pixel-exact elements, e.g. a 1-pixel-line from top to bottom.
Now when I zoom in (>100, then I have sort of anti-alias, so that the 1-pixel-line isn't only one blue anymore, but it has different blue tones. I guess for photo manipulations etc. this anti-aliasing zoom is great, but for webdesign it sucks because I don't know if only the zoom make the line "corrupt" or if it really is corrupt.
Is there a way to change this zoom?

A friend of mine installed Photoshop CS for me (an upgrade from 7.0) and for some reason I can't use CTRL + and CTRL - to zoom in and out, I have to use the mouse with the zoom tool which slows me down quite a bit over the course of 20 or so photo edits.
Can anyone shed some light on this? I checked Keyboard shortcuts in the preferences menu and they were correct. I've made no other changes to the program.
