CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 :: Polyline Tool Double Nodes In One Click
Dec 5, 2012I would like to know if some users have the same problem : when I vectorize manually a bitmap with the polyline tool of CorelDraw X6, sometimes I have two nodes very close (I don't understand why because I do one click with my mouse...). I change my mouse without improvement.Do you know a macro to clean my polylines and to transform the "double" nodes in a single node (adjusting the gap distance) ? The reduce nodes feature in CorelDraw is not nice to do that.

Jun 27, 2012I'm having an issue with block selection menu not coming up- specifically when inserting a new block. When I click the icon, the menu flickers but then disappers. If I click anywhere on my screen, I get a error noise as if the menu is open and I have to press esc to be able to function CAD again. The same error happens when I want to print when I click "edit page setup" nothing shows up, yet I get the error noise as if it is up but nothing is there. All of this worked at one time, but when I was trying to create a new block, somehow I must have turned something off.

Jan 10, 2013when printing in view ports, wipeouts don't show. wipeouts are transparent.
ive tried copying the same wipeout lineweights and pasting it in new documents but have no problems there. i've tried re saving under a brand new document but still no luck. apparently it's only happening in the same 2 documents.

Choose a standard object? Keep the nonstandard object? The object (dimension) was created correctly but when deleted I get the warning.

Aug 29, 2013When I go into CUI & try to customize the double click for say line & set it to bring up the properties box it works, but it changes all double click actions to do that unless there is already a default double click for a particular command. When I set the double click in the hatch command to edit the hatch (hatch box pops up) it works but it will change the line double click to do the same thing. I don't remember having this problem in 2009. I'm saving in the CUI every time I try this.

Jun 7, 2012I just got a new pc upgrade so I'm walking through everything to see if it all works. Now when I double click my mouse wheel, nothing happens where before it would zoom extents. I'm using a MS Wireless Mouse 5000 with AutoCAD 2013.
I played around with programming the mouse buttons directly, but I couldn't get it to work right. I don't see anything in AutoCAD about a setting for mouse wheel double click. All I see is that it just says that double clicking the mouse wheel should execute the zoom extents command.

Apr 24, 2012Using 2012 in my CUI I could set the general note label to use the double click function. When I double clicked on any label I'd get the editor box pop up. Now in 2013 for some strange reason that no longer seems to work.

Oct 10, 2013We are starting to install AutoCAD 2014 on our machines. On one of our machines, the user can't get double click editing to work on inserts. I can open the drawing on my machine and it works fine. She is using the same profile and workspace and both machines have SP1 installed. Double click editing works for other objects (MLeaders, Text...) but not for inserts or their attributes. The only way she can edit the attribute text is through the property window.

Feb 19, 2013I must be using the Enhanced attribute editor the wrong way. Every time I double click the attribute block the enhanced attribute editor opens the dialog box and I have to resize it so a can see all my tags. Then I have to click the tag I want to change then click the value to change it. To change a different tag I have to repeat that process over and over. It makes attributes a complete waste of time. It’s faster to change Mtext or Dtext. I must be doing something wrong. Is there a way to get the dialog box in the image to pop up when I double click the attribute block?

i used area then o command >>>> it says that area = 362.5350 ok this is wrong ..
i calculate the area of the polyline by separating it to parts then subtract the area >>> 368.62 - 7.79 = 360.83 this is the correct area
actually this is to hard to separate polyline to parts, when i have alot of polyline.
i guess this problem causes, when you have self-intersecting polylines the file is attached ..

AutoCAD 2013 :: 2014 Freezes When Double Click Editing ANY Object - Especially TEXT?

Second, what we do.
Commercial MEP design. Project in mention is a 65,000 sq.ft. Italian food market.
Third, the problem.I am experiencing a selection and double click editing problem with AutoCAD 2012LT & AutoCAD 2014LT. On Friday, June 28th we recieved updated (not new) backgrounds from a lighting designer for two floors of the building whose MEP system we are engineering. The second floor had no problems really; we reset some annotation scales and the updated backgrounds plugged right in. The first floor, however, was so messed up that we copied and pasted the track lights and all else into our file directly (vs. xref'ing) and instantly, after a save, it is impossible to evoke any kind of edit with double click. In order for us to modify anything, we have to type the command before editing. So if I want to DDEDIT, I have to type that in before changing the text. If I do select the text first than CAD freezes, takes a huge dump, wipes for 5 minutes, and then the text editor appears. This problem is ubiquitous with all 2012 LT machines and up. AutoCAD 2005 LT has no problem (lmfao).
AutoCAD 2013 :: Polyline Thickness (properties)
Mar 1, 2013I am not sure how to change this, but I am adding polylines and they are coming in with a "Thickness" of 4" in the properties palette (7th option in General area of properties). The Global width is set to 0 and it shows correctly in a 2d plan view, but a 4" thickness if I do a 3dorbit.

AutoCAD 2013 :: Polyline Turns Into Lwpolyline?
Oct 16, 2013We use only polyline when drawing. Plinetype is set to 0.
First problem is with J (join) command. Sometimes when we try to join different polylines it kills a vertex. Example if i have two polylines (they are not joined) that forms a rectangle it will join them but kill one vertex and turn it into triangle. This dosen't happen all the time.
Second problem i figured a way round for the problem above, if i use the pedit command and then use j the above problem never happens. But instead (also not every time) it turns the joined polyline into lwpolyline. So its all pretty anoing as we have to use convertoply.
Is there some other command than plinetype to resolve his problem.

Jan 7, 2014Looking to see if any out there has a "Double Rolling Chain Link Fence Detail for opennings greater than 25 feet" who does not mind sharing. Although I have seen a double cantelever sliding gate of geater openning width, Of all my years in the building modelling field I had never seen a detail, or an actual gate for that matter. This is for a regular galvanized chain link fence construction. My search online has been fruitless.

May 3, 2012Our customer send us drawing with ellipse into.With Autocad 2008 I bought a plug-in call SplineConvert that did the job perfectly but not compatible with 2013.
Is there any plugin that could replace that tool ?
Is there any standard ACAD command that could easily do this Job ?
I need a way to make 2 or 3 times per week this converting on all ellipses of large and detail 2D drawings so no time to offset in and out all those .
I try also DXFOUT in R12 but all the spline are being converted into 3d polyline making a huge files that froze my PC.
I also try FLATTEN but did not see how it work , the ellipse stay an ellipse.

Sep 20, 2012I know you can change the width of the polyline by using the command "plinewid". Is there a way to set a specific width of the polyline on just one specific layer?
For example, I create a layer called "WIDE", and I want the width of the polyline to be 4". But i want the pline width to be 4" ONLY whenever I draw on this particular layer called "WIDE"; but if I draw on the other layers, the polyline width would be back to the default width. Is this even doable?

When I do a Polyline, after i done an arc section, I would like to be able to press "F" instead of "L" to do a line section...
Is there an easy way to do that or do I have to reprogram a new Polyline command in lisp with the subcommand shortcut that I would like? (would prefer to avoid it as sometime I have to work on LT)
The reason behind all of this is that I remapped all my command to keys that are on the left side of the keyboard ... it work really well and I almost never have to lift my left hand except for the case with the polyline... the L key is miles away ..
Right now I remapped a button on my mouse to "L" but its not as natural as just using the keyboard.
