View 4 RepliesEach time I open photoshop cs6 I am told that my trial period is over and that I need to enter my serial number. After Entering the number It works fine. Even though I am starting to remember the 24 digits it is stilla pain.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen creating a title block I use iProperties and Prompted entry.
Now I want to place all entries and properties in a form so that I have everything together.
With the iProperties it works because you can select the iproperties when you create the form but I can not select the prompted entry to place in the form
Is there a way to select the prompted entry to place in the form?
how to write a field that will add or subtract one from the drawing number. I'm adding drawing join line text to drawings so I need the text on the left to read one less than the current drawing & text to the right to read one more.
in drawing 005 text would read "joins drawing 004" & "joins drawing 006"
This is the field for file name (drawing number)
%<AcVar Filename f "%fn7">%
Any way to adjust this to add or subtract one?
How could I read / change prompted entry through code from title block (for example DIN) within VB.Net?
View 3 Replies View Related First, it requires there to be a prompted entry text box in the title block named <SCALE>, is there any way to write to a textbox that is not prompted entry? The prompt when a new drawing or sheet is created is misleading and makes users think they need to manually fill out the prompt. Secondly, this code works on multi-sheet drawings but it concludes by making the last sheet active. Since we are triggering this rule before save it's a nuisance to have the drawing switch sheets everytime you do a save. Ideally, the current active sheet should remain active when the rule runs. Here is the
For Each oSheet In ThisApplication.ActiveDocument.Sheets
ActiveSheet=ThisDrawing.Sheet(oSheet.Name)
If oSheet.TitleBlock Is Nothing Or oSheet.DrawingViews.count=0 Then Exit Sub
oTitleBlock=oSheet.TitleBlock
oTextBoxes=oTitleBlock.Definition.Sketch.TextBoxes
[code]....
Not sure why this has happened but all of a sudden, my AutoCAD 2013 install is reporting an issue with the "Entry Point Not Found"...
The procedure entry point ?bmpout@@YAXPEB_WH@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library accore.dll.
I'm hoping this isnt related to the Windows OS which is Windows 7, 64 Bit but i do recall some updates being rolled out recently which caused problems with ESRI products...
Product: AutoCAD 2014
OS: Windows 7 64bit
First I will state that everything within the program, to my knowledge, works just fine. Although..
I'm having a really strange issue when I try to type a command. It's an intermittent problem that occurs very often and can be extremely frustrating.
If I try to type a command, i.e.. M followed by enter to move an object, often times the command will repeat "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM" and the command entry will fail. This happens for every button I press too. Letters, numbers, and even the Enter key will be repeatedly entered into the command prompt. Often times I've already pressed enter to execute the command. During this process the whole program seems to freeze, but not for too long. So I often have to enter the command multiple times, regardless of which button is repeating itself.
The repeating of a keystroke only lasts between 1-2 seconds but as I said has a very frequent occurrence.
I'm almost positive that this has nothing to do with my keyboard, as I've never experienced this kind of problem elsewhere. This is my machine at work and I've never encountered an issue as frustrating at this. Could it be something that my machine is doing?
Did 2013 change the way Direct Distance Entry is handled?
Say I want to start a line a distance of 3 from another line using Otrack and a running endpoint snap. Before, I could just hover over the existing line's endpoint, move the cursor in the right direction, and enter 3 on the keyboard. Now in 2013, I need to have Dynamic Input (F12) turned on to get this behavior. 2012 was not this way.
I created a block in the way I always do.
-draw a symbol
-define an attribute & place it
-go to draw>block>make and select the object i want to be in my block and name it.
as normal once i completed this my block appeared with the attribute window popping up as expecting looking for me enter a value for my attribute.
I intended to use this block along with the measure command to reference a number of points along a poly line as equal distanced (I've done this many items before).
when using the measure command and typing in my block name, it appears at the selected distance along the polyline, but the attribute text is not visible. when you select the block, there is no attribute within it (i.e. no attribute dialogue box appears, nor is there a field in the block properties window for the attribute to be amended).
when i insert the block into the drawing using insert>block, it appears as expected with its attribute?
I have found a work around for this, but it's not ideal. I've created a temp block from my original block, using the measure command it displays correctly. i have to then explode the temp block which leaves the original block and its attribute in place.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI use dynamic blocks a lot of the time and most of them have a stretch action in them. What used to happen would be that whenever I clicked on the block I wanted to adjust and then clicked on the stretch action, it would show the distance from the base point and I was able to type in the new length of the object I was stretching. But now whenever I click on the stretch action, it shows that the current length is 0 and it is asking for the distance from the current point, not the base point. How can I change it so that it is always just the distance from the base point?

I am having trouble with getting the quick properties box to display. I have turned the feature on at the bottom taskbar, and tried Ctrl+Shift+P, and changed settings so that it displays to the top-right of the cursor, but I get nothing when I select any object. It used to work on 2012 but not now.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI would like to know how, if possible to make the attributes of a block show up as text. Example:
I am working on a power utility design where each power pole has a sequential name and may or may not have units that need to be added into a contract. I have my attributes set up where I can go in and assign a required number to a unit so I can export my data into excel. The problem I am having is that I have to enter the text and change the attribute quantities separately. Also, there are 40 or so different units and only a few certain ones required at each pole. Is there a way to set the attribute only to display text if the quantity is greater than zero so my list is not 40 units long at each pole?

I'm working with Inventor 2014.
I placed a Sheet Propertie called Sheet Number in my title block.
I want only my sheet number in my title block and not the follow number.
I found the code made bij Curtis Waguespack and changed Mid to Left.
In the message box it shows the number i want but in the title block it shows only the follow number.
My sheet number is 400:1
why dusn't show only the number 400 in the titleblock?
DimoSheetAsSheet
DimSheetNumberAsString

ForEachoSheetInThisApplication.ActiveDocument.Sheets
SheetNumber = Left(oSheet.Name, InStr(1, oSheet.Name, ":")- 1)
MessageBox.Show(SheetNumber, oSheet.Name)

I have a number of areas numbered 1,2,3......etc but I need to change the text to the following where only the last number that is underlined is to increase sequentially.
P23/L2/1
Could Tcount be used or is there a modified version available?
If not is there a quick way to automatically place a number block onto a drawing with a click and then for every other click sequentially increases the last number.
1) Problem about viewports :
I am using 2011, I have created 17 viewports in one paper space, there are 2 viewports not showing anything. I deleted 2 viewports with content, then the 2 viewports which were not showing is now showing images.
I started a new drawing, drew something very simple for testing, I could create 63 viewports the 64th is not showing.
I would like to ask what it is to control/affect the number of viewports I can create in one paper space.
2) To Edit an Attributed Block
When double click an attributed block (command = eattedit), the dialog box "Enhanced Attribute Editor" disappeared !
The major and minor station alignment labels keep disappearing in my drawing. I've had some luck by removing and re-adding the labels but this has stopped working. Is this an issue that will be resolved by Service Pack 1?

I've searched this Discussion Groups area on the site and have found a couple solutions. I've tried them all but I can't seem to figure out how to get ALL of my labels to display when I plot or when I export to PDF. It seems that only the POLES layer labels are having trouble showing up...

When programming in Autolisp, I like to view the values set to my variables so you type an exclamation point followed by the variable name on the command line to have it display the value. My command line will not display the value. I have to hit the F2 key to bring up the text window to view it. how to get the command line to view this information? We have other computers that show it, but mine will not.
