Is there a way to control the annotations text height in Hole Chart, I like fx. 0.1mm in text height

Question: Is it possible to control the Hole Dimensions called out on the Hole Chart? As in controling leading/trailing zeros for main hole dim, alt home dim and tolerances? Can you combine the Main Dim with the Alt dim in a single column, separated with parentheses? (same with tolerance?)
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to add a hole to an existing hole chart. I drop the part into a new drawing, set the ordinate "zero", and add a hole chart by selecting a few holes. When I attempt to edit the chart: click chart, right click "edit", click add hole, select new holes, right click to create, the "create" selection is greyed out and all I have to choose from is cancel. I searched the forum here but could not find a reference to this a know issue. Am I doing something wrong or is this a glitch of 2013.
We are running win7 x64 machines and this happens on both the 2013 Ultimate and Premium editions of the product.
I want to add a text height chart to a dropdown menu in the Quick access bar.
I have the Dropdown made but forget how to add the chart.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe text height in my model space is 1', then I open the model space and try to text in a new viewport, the text height changes to 48'.
I try to go back to model space to do the texting, but the text height is still 48'.
In Autocad 2014 I can't seem to get the same properties when I choose a dimension as I have been with all previous vertions. It does not have any of the option such as text height, Tolerance, Precision etc. Is this new for 14?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've got a template with a set of Object defaults for an Inch drawing and a set for a Metric drawing. I've just noticed that within my metric set, if I insert a hole table with tapped holes, the font on the tapped holes doesn't match the other hole types. I'm searched around, but all the settings for the hole table style reference the same text style. (Please see the attached image.)
So is there a way to set a certain hole type to have a certain font or size within a hole table? Because if there is, I'd obviously like to remove it..... But I can't seem to figure out where the issue is.
I am having trouble exporting to a PDF to use in an InDesign document. If exports fine, but it looks AWFUL and doesn't show my annotations or notes clearly at all. it's all blurred.
View 2 Replies View RelatedUsing AutoCAD 2013 and TOL command to generate feature control frames. We set our lineweights based on layer assignments.
Problem is that when printing, AutoCAD seems to randomly assign a lineweight to the feature control frames. It can vary from what it's supposed to be (such as lineweight set for the dimension layer) or thicker than even what the object lines are set at. Seems to pick a random linewieght at time of printing for these elements (just the boxes, not the symbols/text itself).
Is there a setting we should be defining somewhere to force it to follow the lineweight of the layer that it has been assigned to? Known bug?
I'm trying to paste in things like "N.G.", "Top of Bank", "Edge of Water" all at certain points to annotate the topography. I've tried the following:
text N.G 800,90
text Top of Bank 820,90
But I keep getting the prompt for annotation angle and it gets stuck there so I tried:
text N.G 800,90 90
text Top of Bank 820,90 90
But the same thing occurs. I need the text to be vertical. I've done some searching here, but haven't come up with much. I don't want to resort to creating blocks and importing the attributes as I'm sure it's much easier than that.
Where is the option to control page width & height so that you can make both even measurements? I typically get something like w 1920.4px & h 1080px. When I try to change the width to 1920 the height adjusts as well. I know there is a simple fix for this but I can't find it.

I know that I can activate the "Mini Tour Building Wheel" and can do it that way but it is very clunky to use and I don't always get the right angles. Is there a simple way to control each key frame's heights like you normally would a camera (eye and target elevations)?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to make a floorplan of my house in Revit 2013, but I am having an issue when it comes to one wall in my house. I have an opening in the Master Bedroom that leads to the bathroom. This wall has a weird arched-like opening in it and I have no clue how to make this in Revit. I have attached a sketch.
Also, my exterior walls are 7' tall but the interior walls start at 7' and go up to 8' once in the middle of the house and reduce back to 7". How does one set that up in Revit?
EDIT: May have made the image too small to see, but the top is not arched, it is actually half of a decagon.
I am having problems with changing the height of the dimension text. I have tried going into the style editor and changing the text height in there and then saving it. The number for the height that I changed stays saved however the actual text height on the drawing does not, not even after I tell it to update.

Over the years, I've used a combination of Xara and MS Visio for business graphics -- Visio primarily for "boxes and arrows" work given the ease of typing text into any object.
I just spent a few minutes with my new version of Designer Pro X hoping that functionality might have been added and that I could finally eliminate Visio. I didn't see any new text-to-object function, but thought I'd ask here just in case.

I created a wall via RECTANGLE/PRESSPULL to a desired height. But I need to be able to increase the height of one corner of the wall. Not quite sure how to do this.
On the attached picture, corner A needs to remain where it is, while corner B needs to be 3' higher.
Can you put line break in text in the data box when creating a chart.
i.e. if you have a bar chart with text underneath each bar, can you break it when you’re entering it instead of manually afterwards
I have had this problem intermittently for a few weeks since going to Inventor 2013 SP1.1. I have a part within an assembly and that part has holes created in it before assembling it with other parts. Now when I try and create a hole table in a drawing of the assembly I cannot select hole edges and the hole table is blank when trying to create it automatically from view selection. I originally thought it may be an alignment issue but I have since aligned everything correctly and it still persists. I can create the hole table if I import in just the part into the drawing but it will not allow me to create the table on the whole assembly.
I can also create the hole table if I use "centred pattern" and create cross hairs on all of the holes however it does not give me correct annotations for the holes as shown in attachment and I can manually change the annotations but seriously this should not be required. As shown in the screen shot it reads as A1 down to K1 instead of A1 to A10. .
I have this odd problem that when i want to do welds on a assembly, the machinng (holes) disappear. So i cannot put welding between a pipe and a hole made in a weldment.!

The guy who used to work here made this text with a tolerance to a radius measurement. The tolerance is smaller ( no problem with that), but also adjusted to the top of the line.
I would like to use the hole command to place a hole in a part. When I place the hole it won't allow me to use one of the origin planes to locate the hole from. Can I only locate holes off edges?
