How to repeat a command with options used previously? For example, I create Arc with "Start End Radius". If I repeeat command pressing spacebar or enter, an arc creates with options by default ("3-point").

Check what the setting for Enable hardware acceleration is (so it can be restored back)Set Enable hardware acceleration offReduce the number of tessellations to cacheReduce both the Surfaces, and Curves tessellation How would I do this from command line? My ultimate goal here is to run these commands in .NET.
I have 2010lt on Vista. Mouse is set to repeat last command on right click. When I right click to repeat break at point command, it will shorten the line every time. When I click the break at point icon it does not shorten line. I cant find a fix.

The options menu has to be hidden somewhere because AutoCad will not allow any other commands after typing options until I hit escape. I have tried restarting CAD and rebooting my computer with not luck.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSince Inventor 2010, the spacebar has the functionality of repeating the last command. We have an add-in that requires typing a short phrase. (You can see where this is headed)
Whenever you use the spacebar to seperate the words in the phrase, a new addin form opens in front of the old one.
This add-in is employing the WordWrapper code that Brian submitted some time ago to clear up a similiar issue when you used the Enter key, but the spacebar problem persists
Is there a way to disable this funtion? Or work around it?
I use the Repeat command with an index, and when it exits, it writes the last index.
I cannot move it to a new line,nor cancel it.
If i insert a (princ "") inside the loop it moves it to a new line, but also all the outputs of the loop get extra line spaces
Is there a key command to do what you just did? For instance, I build charts and sometimes I need to rotate every piece of the chart by 90 degrees... one piece at a time. Is there a key command that will just let me repeat this over and over? I'm using Illustrator CS6 on a Mac.
I don't want to rotate the whole chart, just pieces of it... that's why I don't just select all and rotate at once...
I am designing perfume bottles and for that i need to to repeat a semi circle to repeat over a curved surface fo the bottle. To simplify the problem i have created curved surface and made a semi cirle as a feature, now i want the feature to repeat on the curved surface. I have tried to rectangle pattern, aswell as the circular pattern in all possible ways i can think.
P.s. I have hp I7 processor, 8 gb ram, windows 7 and am using autodesk inventor pro 2013
I created a table with a title, 3 columns each with their own header and 20 rows of data. I then adjusted the properties of the table to allow breaks and repeated top labels. My Table Break properties are:
Enabled: Yes
Direction: Down
Repeat top labels: Yes
Repeat bottom labels: No
Manual Positions: No
Manual heights: Yes
Break height: 2.5
Spacing: 1
Everything looks great! I like the way the table is now broken into several smaller "tables"/sections (about 3 rows per section). BUT my question is: Is there a way to simply change the title text of these smaller "tables"/sections so each break has its own unique text for its title? The repeat top labels property only allows the overall title to be repeated with the same text. Any changes I make to the title text is carried through all titles of these individual sections.
sometimes the 'last' entity is whatever the last one in the current view is (the entities you can see on the screen), but sometimes the 'last' item is the very last item created, whether you can see it in the view or not. what is the command to use to switch between these two options?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI would like to be able to extrude an object then do a subtract or something similer, then somehow put the subtract on a layer so if i hide said layer the extrueded object will be showen as if it never had the subtract applyed. But if the layer is show agean then the extrued will have a hole in it agean.
P.s. for an example of one thing this could be used for, modeling wrenches with difrent shaped grips but the same handle. Without just making multiple copys of the handle.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI need to SWEEP the yellow rectangle in this drawing along the magenta 3DPOLYLINE. This is a stair stringer for a winding stair I'm trying to model. The trouble is that when I SWEEP it the rectangle begins to rotate and ends up all out of whack once it gets to the top.
As I understand it, this is something that AutoCAD does not handle well and something like 3DsMax does. Problem is I don't have 3Ds Max and if I recall correctly there is a way to do this within AutoCAD. I just don't understand the SWEEP command options well enough. I've tried setting Align to No and Twist to the 270° that this thing runs, but each time I end up with the stringer rotated out of place.

if you care to not click-through, the problem is that certain commands (not all of them) simply do not disply in the command line. so the MOVE command for example looks like this:

same with QSAVE and who knows how many others.
For some reason all of my linetypes have disappeared, and even when I go to Load, there are no options. The only linetypes available are lines and dashed lines, and I have a fence linetype but it does not show the circular pattern in the fence. How can I get these back?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am difficulty getting the options dialog box to open (under the file menu "red A" dropdown list, options button). When I click on it, all of the buttons on top go gray and nothing appears. When I click on the black workspace, I get a compluter bell sound.
What I've tried to do to solve the problem is restart the computer and shutdown the computer.
I am just getting started with ACA 2010 and am impressed at what it can do. However, I am trying to change the material for 1 wall or 1 slab. When I try, it changes the material for all walls or slabs. I have read something about a propagate option on the materials menu, but I can't find it.

Now with the new version when I use MOVE command, not only one line is moved, it is moved the whole object (Like the object is a block, but is not).

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am running AutoCAD Map 3D 2011. When i use the ID command to acquire x,y coordinates by snapping to an object, it gives me only one decimal place. When i do the command out in space, it gives me 4 decimal spaces. I need to get at least two decimal places while snapping to objects. Examples below:
id command (out in space, not using osnap)
X = 4006431.3366 Y = 359556.5635
id command (snapping to entity)
X = 4006252.3000 Y = 360712.5000
by the way, my units precision is set to .00 and it doesnt seem to make any difference with the id command.
I have been using the MVSetup command to adjust a view port orientation however when I do this the Pickfirst command is changed to 0 - it was only by chance I discovered this and was able to change it back. Also, is there a command to reset all changes made through MVSetup in a viewport ?
