Having a problem with AutoCAD 2012. When trying to plot the dwg, suddenly this message come up. Even after install Service Pack 1, it still doesn't solve the problem. Attach is the image for your reference.
I've tried to search for the solution but cannot find any with StackHash_f960.
Every time I try to print or preview the following error appears and no error code or log comes after.
I already instaled SP1, changed acad.ctb e use other templates.
OK, since installing autocad 2012, and installing the office profile, which directs to a folder on our server to our plot style folder. Fairly typical medium office setup where settings come from an AutoCAD Settings folder, from support, fonts CUI etc etc.
There is the plot style wizard shortcut in this folder. In past releases this has been ignored, however now every time you open a new drawing we receive the error prompt, "The following shortcuts in the search were invalid and ignored" and then indicates the file path location. What's the deal?!
Now while i shouldn't have to, yes i have simply attempted to delete the shortcut in question but it showed up again.
I have a problem to plot thin lines and dots when Plot Transparency option is On in the Plot dialog box.
The lineweight is a half of the original. I think i have tried everything.
It shows correctly in the Plot Preview but when printed there are no dotted hatches and lines are much thinner.
AutoCAD - Why does the Normal plot style plot in color? Black seems to make a lot more sense. Almost everyone in Architecture uses black prints most frequently so that should be the default. And you can't adjust Normal to all black. So what was AutoDesk's reasoning?

' YOU CAN NOT USE MULTIPLE INSTANCES AT THE SAME TIME'. The program then freezes for a short while then returns a message saying plot canceled.
I am using Map 3D 2011. Although I did have a trial version of AutoCad 2012 I had no problems plotting on both versions up until recently I have made no changes to any printer configuration, plot files or styles. I removed 2012 after I started getting this message but still I am unable to plot.
I am currently using ACAD Civil 3D 2014. When I am in paper space and try to plot I get a Fatal Error before I even get to the plot menu. This is only happening in 2 specific drawings and I've done a purge, audit and drawing recovery. With 8GB of Ram there should be more then enough to at least plot a 5MB drawing.

It goes like this:
1. Open any drawing.
2. Select any layout.
3. File > Plot > Select PDF as printer/plotter
4. Click OK
5. Plot job progress bar appears
6. Fatal Error Message
7. Total crash, AutoCAD closes

It is with every drawing, different drawings, every time. It started suddenly.
I am using LT 2013. I used to have 2008. I got similar errors using 2008. I uninstalled it (after trying repair reinstall, which failed to correct the problem) and reinstalled windows, and upgraded to 2013. The problem was gone for a time and has just now restarted.
I have one drawing per file at model tab. When I need to plot a multiple page file, I use:
Print > Batch Plot.
The problem is that I have to set plot configurations ( plot style table, plot area, paper size, etc) in each file before use Batch Plot.
Now I received 722 files with a wrong Plot Style Table. For this time I change the associated *.ctb file at Plot Style folder, but I will need to associate the right *.ctb to each drawing. It's also common to have to change other properties.
When I try printing to an adobe pdf file I obtain the following error:-

My office currently has a unique keynote database for each project. When I open a file with a sheet keynote legend, AutoCAD 2010 opens up the correct database and everything is fine. This is also true when I try to plot a sheet file. However, when I plot through the batch-plot process, AutoCAD does not open the correct database.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can not plot in color! Using Civil3d 2012 64 bit. Plotting to a HP DesignJet 5500 which I think is set to use the new driver for 64 bit. I have tried everything I know. Been doing this many years and I have never ran into this one. Used CTB ACAD, None and tweaked a few of my own. The funny thing is if I have an image that will plot in color and the other funny thing is I can send the same plot to a HP Color LaserJet 5550 PS (standard office size) and the dwg plots just fine in color so I'm thinking it has something to do with the 64 bit side of things.

I just moved from ACAD 2008 to 2010. I for the life of me cannot figure out how to plot my drawings to a monochrome (black and white) drawing/PDF. Every plot comes out as by layer colored plots.
I have tried using Page Setup Manager and created a (or what I thought was a) monochrome .stb file. However, even with the mono.stb file selected the plots still plot in color.Is it possible to configure a .stb file to plot in only black?
I am trying to plot over 100 drawings to PDF. They are mechanical drawings and the details need to be clear. I tried a batch plot, but when printed in 11x17, everything is a bit fuzzy on the PDF. View 7 Replies View RelatedI have an file where the linetype of a line will modify on print. The linetype will only 'move' when the endpoint of the line is outside the viewport.
I have attached a pdf to show what is happening along with the drawing file.
Another interesting thing is that when I change thickness of the linetype, it also moves.
I have tried recreating the polyline, reversing the polyline direction, auditing the drawing, but nothing.
I'm tring to plot 26 or so sheets into a single pdf or multiple pdfs and I get this error every time with no file being created.

I have several drawings and which have different scales (1:50, 1:20 and 1:10) all in one dwg file. I made different .ctb files for each of them to make easier to interchange drawings between two different scales. But now I'm plotting each of them onto seperated rolls. I wonder if there is a way to plot all of them onto just one roll?

View 5 Replies View Relatedmy DWG is set to monochrome.ctb. Everything prints ok except my 2 isometric 3D viewports which prints in its real color (visual styles are conceptual). Why don't they print also in monochrome? I saw a couple of discussions on that problem but the "hidden" and "hidden 3D" options in shade option isn't working...I want them to stay the same, just print in monochrome with screening! I read about some option called "hidden legacy" but can't find that anywhere.

my current setup....
paper size: A4
plot area: extents, ticked centre the plot
scale: 1:1
the result: titleblock cut off on left and right sides
its only when i need A4 size (red margins!) A3, A2 etc are fine....i dont know what else is needed? I installed CAD12 only a few days ago and im the first and only AutoCAD user at my work. Im not sure if there's some intial setup settings that are required.
Last week we started having an issue with one of the AutoCAD 2010 installs, When she would go to plot (to any plotter or PDF) the plot process would just hang up and continue to show (in the lower right corner) that it was working, sometimes it would actually print the page but it wouldn't format it right, This morning a second install started doing it too. I chacked and ran though the proceedure for ACAD.VLX virus and it still is doing this. After autocad sits there for a minute showing the plot process the addons reload. I have tried plotting with no addons loaded and I am still getting the same problem.
Machine software config:
Windows 7 64 bit
Autocad 2010 32bit loaded
Microvellum 6.7 addon
I have drawings with annotation and when I send to the plotter the processing is very slow, and take some time to plot.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to export all my layouts in a drawings to PDF. I'm using EXPORTPDF from the Output tab.
If I'm exporting the current layout, or if I'm creating a multi-sheet PDF, the plot stamp shows up. I get the 'Save as PDF' dialog box where I can tick "Include plot stamp".
However, if I export all layouts as single-sheet, this dialog doesn't appear and the plot stamp is not on the PDF produced.
When plotting and doing a 'plot preview' Acad crashes. This happens with ALL dwgs no matter which of our 2 printers is chosen. This is only happening to one computer in the office. All computers are running Windows 7 Professional with AutoCAD Civil 3d 2011. If the plot is sent without a preview everything if fine with no crash.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to open or create drawings in autocad (which i downloaded recently from the edu community) it gives me a warning which says "the drawing file being opened was not created by a product from an autodesk education suite. if you save this drawing it will always be plotted with the follow plot stamp: produced by an autodesk education program.it is recommended that you save this drawing with a different file name." but I have saved and resaved drawings, tried different extensions and still it won't plot or print without this plot stamp. What is most likely causing it and what can I do to remove it.
