I am in ACAD 2012 and want to delete sheet sets from my "recent" list. Many of them are invalid now. How can I do this? I would expect it is a registry entry but I don't know where.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have created an assembly that has a parts list, and in this parts list I have up to 100 mono detail drawings. I would like to know if there is a way to print all of these drawing from that list in a massive plot.
At my previous company we had something like this in AutoCAD where a script was created to look at the drawings and print all drawings mentioned in the assembly BOM and subsequent sub-assemblies, it worked beautifully.
I find that I have to print all drawings to paper or PDF individually.
The "recent" file list when I right-click the AutoCAD icon in my task bar only lists .dxf files. No .dwg files show up. Is there any way for me to change this so that my recent .dwg files will be listed?

This is a completely different number then the sheet number itself....the plot number is basically the actual sheet number within the entire construction document. So if there's 245 sheets in the entire construction document and landscape sheets need to start at 188, is there a way to set up a field that knows how to number accordingly?

After publishing, the printer icon shows the job is spooling, when i hover over it, it says "publish job in progress". And never changes. The sheet set works fine in 2011. I have tried recreating, updating dwt files, multiple setups, tried using the dialogue box and publish override. Nothing is working.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a SheetSet of a wastewater treatment plant that contains 70 sheets fully developed. The SheetSet incorporates Sheet Views, ViewLabels, and View Callouts as part of the SheetSet as well as Fields in the standard titleblock for Sheet Title and Sheet Number. A Sheet List Table created from the Sheet Set is used as the Project Sheet Index.
There are Structural and Mechanical (HVAC) drawings that require design subcontractor review and editing. These design subcontractors will make their own edits to our existing drawings. They are outside our office and have no direct digital connectivity with us. It is most likely not possible to provide them connectivity to our project file storage space for non-technical reasons. (i.e. it may be technically possible but not possible for other reasons not under my control.) Their knowledge and proficiency with Sheet Sets is unknown.
What is the, or is there a, best method for accomplishing coordination of our Sheet Set with the subcontractor edits under these conditions?
If digital connectivity between our offices is possible, what is the best practice / scenario for Sheet Sets with that setup?I'll need to send the files to these subcontractors or establish connectivity in the next few days!
I am having a problem opening older sheet sets from AutoCAD 2014.
I can select the .dst file, but when it "opens" I onlly have the icon in the seet set manager and nothing else, it is entirely blank.
I made a new sheet set, but now older versions of AutoCAD cannot read that one.
We are experiencing a case where the sheet list table will not insert into a page. It works on all other jobs, but this one won't let a sheet list table insert into any page, by any body.
I even tried inserting a block of the table from another set and then updating - all the lines disappeared.
We have done about 200 jobs with these, without trouble and this is the one giving us problems now.
I am using the sheet list table to generate a table of contents. I add the "Drawing Revision Number" column to the table, but when it generates the list it does not include the field.
Is there any way to add the "Sheet Revision Number" instead since this is what property is actually adjusted in the sheet's properties? (i never change the "Drawing Revision Number")
OR is the solution to change the "Drawing Revision Number"? Where do I change this property at? Is this property applied to all sheets within a drawing?
I have a sheet list table setup and want to change the format for how the date shows up in a row. Is there a way to format each row/column?

When I try to insert a new sheet list table, after I click OK in the Sheet list Table dialoge box, it simply closes to an empty command line with nothing inserted. Why nothing is inserted?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAttached is a zip file with a standalone program to aid in cleaning up the Recent Documents list for all flavors of AutoCAD, 2009-2013.
It's pretty self explanatory, just be sure to run it with no sessions of AutoCAD, or vertical products, running. It should refuse to run if it sees any Acad.exe application in the running tasks list. Once the dialog opens it will show you all of the Autocad related products you have installed, select one and it will fill in the first list of recent documents. Then select a profile for that product and the second list will populate with the SSM related recent documents saved for that profile. You can then select any item from either list, if the same DST filename exists in both lists it will automatically select them both. Use the standard selection methods to select more than one (shift-click, control-click, window).
Be sure to Unblock, if needed, the zip file before extracting the exe file. (Check the file properties)
Two of my users' 2013 Civil 3D's Sheet Set Manager does not show anything in the Recent list even though they have opened a few sheet sets and have worked on drawings from those sheet sets. In other words, they pick on the SSM > Open > and hover on Recent and nothing shows up. Once some sheet sets have been opened, the Recent list does populate during that AutoCAD session, but once AutoCAD is closed, the SSM > Open > Recent list does not populate. Mine works fine and we are using the same profiles.

We use Civil 3D mostly with dwg files and they are usually pushed off the list because of Sheet Set Manager files. Some of these dst's haven't been opened in weeks? But there still at the top of the list....very unproductive when you have to go searching for a dwg file you were just working on.....

Every time I try to select the text of an item in the open recent list the recent list will disappear before I can select it. I've discovered that I must carefully move my mouse pointer down the left column that precedes the entries in order to select any of them. Autodesk, could you fix this so that anywhere on each item is selectable and the recent list stays open until the mouse moves off of it?
It is said that a fool's voice is known by multitude of words... I'm just writing this stuff instead of saying it outloud... that's my loophole.

way to renumber an entire sheet set without having to stop at each subset? Currently, I right click on a sheet and select "rename & renumber". The Rename and Renumber dialog box pops up and I type "1" then click on "next", type "2", "next", and so on. This continues until the end of the subset, the stops. Then I have to right click on a sheet in the next subset and start over.
I want to renumber the whole plan set without stopping at each subset. Obviously, I can get rid of the subsets, but that isn't my question. I want to keep the subsets and have the ability to renumber the whole set.
I love the concept of sheet sets, particularly when printing project drawings in one stroke. But my current understanding is that a drawing can only be associated with one sheet set. Most of my projects include drawings common to all.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter a rather horrendous incident with trying to do a series of videos all in one project using bins and shared media and a savefile that got *WAYYY* out of hand (20 minutes to load the file)- which I believe was tied to importing media from another .proj file, I have switched to a more modular approach with anywhere from 2-5 projects in each project and now a collection of around 15-25 projects on the go. Most of these are "work on a chapter, then change to another project while waiting for footage for another project" and several of them share pieces including multicam segments and sync'd audio.
Rather than importing from another project, I am using Control-C, switch to a different project file, then paste in. This isn't the most "Adobe Professional" style way of doing things, but considering that I lost several hours to trying to recover from the last project, even when I only needed to spend 20 minutes pumping out a rough cut, I'm not going back to that method until my next computer upgrade and until I begrudgingly switch to CC in around 1-1.5 year's time.
So the issue that I'm faced with is that I'm often using the Open Recent Project flyout and having 5 projects on that list is just not enough to be remotely useful.
In MS Office, the list is quite long and even in photoshop, I can get 10. That's enough for my Photoshop, but I switch projects using the Recent Projects list in Premiere a LOT more often. I could just use my explorer windows to jump around, but given that I have 5-6 explorer windows open per project most of which are folders crammed with footage, PSD stills and peak files, plus other non-video things I'm working on right now, that's really not the simplest way to navigate at a glance.
How can I get 10, 20 or 25 items in that flyout list instead of mucking about with 5? I run Adobe Production Premium CS6.
I have made a model with 40 viewframes. I have used the option to export 4 layouts to one drawing. My question is can I revise the original model and get the revisions automatically updated in the 10 drawings or do I have to redo the export option?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I create my sheet sets, where there is a curve in my alignment, there is a black space outside of the matchline. When I move the matchline closer to the end of the view frame, the black space gets smaller. Then I cannot acheive my overlap.
