3ds Max Modeling :: Garment Maker Disabled?
Jun 25, 2013I've been using garment maker modifier for some time and soon the modifier is just not enabled anymore. Is not in the stack of modifiers and not in modifiers menu.

Maya Modeling :: How To Model / Create Next Section Of Garment
Feb 25, 2013I'm modelling a complex curve for a fashion garment. I've always modelled in polygons in the past but have had more success on this project using nurbs, however I've got to a certain position and I'm wondering which way is the best way to model / create the next section of the garment(see image attached). Is it just the case of creating lots of section lines as lofting?

Nov 10, 2013I do monogramming, and have an online store. I want to do a monogram in my software, then save it as a jpeg. I want to then put that on top of a jpeg of a sweatshirt, as if it were monogrammed, so as not to have to actually do a shirt for a sample. Not sure if I attached these photos right.

Oct 19, 2004I am making a flyer for my customer, in Page Maker. They are a florist, and I have edited the images from FTD etc to their standards.
I have run into a problem though. I have traditionally put FTD's logo directly on the images while I am editing them. A request was made, that all logo's would be the same size. In order to do this, I need to have the logo as a separate image with an opaque back ground in Page Maker.
I have been unable to paste in any images (.tif) with opaque back grounds. This is probably due to the fact that our printer has us use CMYK. Yet, photoshop can handle CMYK with opaque back grounds just fine, why cant Page Maker?
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 :: Garment / Hat Templates
Nov 18, 2013I'm looking for Garment and Hat Templates to create a virtual sample proof for customers to approve art. I've found some, but they don't have sweatshirts. I found one for T-Shirts that had all the shading and allowed to with one click to change the shirt color.
I've even tried Advanced Artist Design program by it lacks sweatshirts and is very limited on garment types, even the add-on purchase package.

May 29, 2012It may be the way I'm using this feature and I've just missed it - it appears to me that you can't have a solid background to your swatch because the way it stacks/overlaps elements means that you will end up cropping some elements on some sides.
Try it just by putting a solid shape the exact size of the tile.
Photoshop :: Edit Embedded Images In Frame Maker
Mar 16, 2012I have some embedded images in Frame Maker that I need to edit in Photoshop. I copy the image from FM and paste it as a new image into Photoshop. Most of the time its OK, but sometimes it comes up like this, or worse.
It should look like this.
Pasting the image into any other program (i.e. Word, Visio, Paintbrush) works, but it takes more time to fix it, the size is usually off and needs adjusting, and the output is of lower quality.
In FM, the images that seem to do this are JPEG / Frame Vector or PNG / Frame Vector according to the Facets field.

Apr 4, 2012Trail version of ProX5. I have made labels in a project and have set the text alignment to "center", but when I switch to the other label, it does not remember my text setting, sets back to left justify. Happens on both labels. Each time I go from one label to the next it asks me to save, I do this, but center justify still does not save.

Yet they are pagemaker invoices (archaic mac version)...and adobe photoshop mac files (layouts, etc) have no extension. what would the correct extension be...maybe if i change the extension it can see them, but not sure what they should be?

Jun 23, 2012I love the new Pattern Maker in CS6, but I keep running into a problem:
When I create a pattern that is NOT tiled in Grid (i.e. Brick), it usually works without any problem. But once I save and re-open the file, opening the pattern in PM again will show this message:
A clipping mask was created around the pattern tile bounds to preserve legacy pattern appearance. For best results, release the clipping mask when changing the tile size or editing art that overlaps the tile edge. I would then find that, instead of a single motif layed out in a Brick tile, I would have one complete motif in the center and four quartered motifs on the corners of one clipping box. This is tiled in a Grid pattern to emulate a Brick appearance.
So long story short, what's supposed to be a Brick tile turns into a Grid tile that's faking a Brick tile.
Is there a way to keep the simple Brick tiles?
Photoshop :: CS6 3D Disabled
Dec 29, 2012Yesterday I signed up for Adobe Creative Cloud and delightedly started exploring the 3D features in Photoshop CS6. It worked perfectly well and there were no crashes.
This morning the Adobe Application Manager said there was an upgrade for Photoshop CS6 with "New Features". While it was downloading I watched some 3D tutorials. Then when I opened a file in Photoshop with the intention of putting what I'd learned into practice, I got the following message:
"Photoshop has detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported for 3D, and has temporarily disabled 3D functionality. Updating the driver of your graphics card may resolve the issue.
Check the manufacturer's website for the latest software."
I have an iMac with an NVIDIA geforce 9400 256mb graphics card. It therefore cannot be upgraded as it is built-in, nor is there any sign of updated software either from Apple nor NVIDIA. So this is my introduction to the Adobe Creative Cloud. Something works for one day and then is "upgraded" and ceases to do so!

Sep 14, 2013I had a problem with the Save for Web feature being disabled and just wanted to share the solution that I found. First, to describe the problem: Save for Web was grayed out and nothing I tried could get it back. It wasn't a problem with the image color mode, bit depth or anything like that. Rebooting my Windows 7 PC did not work.
Deleting my preferences did not work. Ultimately, what I had to do was uninstall/reinstall Photoshop CC. Now, it's working fine again.
