3ds Max :: Extrude Will Not Respond

Using Windows 7 64 bit, radeon card, 8 GB ram, 500Gb hd.
This only started today, and I can't continue with my school work until it's fixed.
When selecting polygons Extrude Settings using either the ribbon or the button, I am unable to enter a number, select any of the spinners (cannot change group to single polygon, cannot increase/decrease amount) and I cannot select Okay (checkmark) Okay and go on, or cancel. At one point the mouse would give a double-headed arrow and allow me to slide the amount up and down, but I still cannot accept it with okay, or cancel it.
It is doing this in all of my saved files, not just one in one project.

I simply want to play with the brightness/contrast channel - to start with - but the image won't respond. I cut out, inverted, and put the image on alpha channel, but when I try to change it in brightness/contrast: zilch.

I have been using Lightroom 3.6 on a Windows 7 64 bit computer for over a year and it has performed flawlessly. Today, in the middle of correcting a large job (500 pictures), it suddenly stopped working. The message is "Lightroom is not responding". Everything is locked up. Eventually, it unlocks, but then, when I try to do anything it locks up again. I have checked my computer for usage issues and other programs are performing normally.

On Windows 7, PS CS6 64bits hangs onto a side of desktop and does not respond as it launches. No error messages. 32 bits works fine. PS5.5 64 bit works fine. Only the regular windows 7 updates (no driver updates or other program updates other than Adobe Acrobat Reader) have been installed since I installed PS CS6 extended.

I have been having problems with Autocad 2012 (running on Windows 7/64bit) where it keeps getting hung up and I get the spinning wheel and the (not responding) message... I notice this happens most often when I am editing attributes of a block, editing text (by double click or through the properties window), or printing to PDF. I am unable to shut down autocad, Windows 7 will not let me end the process in the task manager, and I have to shut off the power on my laptop to force it to shut down. On the few occasions where I got the window to close, Autocad would not re-open, the start up screen would just get stuck at Initializing..

When I select clone stamp, then right click for the menu, there is a delay, about one time out of ten. It's the same when I move the mouse onto a pallete; the pointer disappears for a few seconds. Is there a setting I can change to reduce pointer delays?
Also, I'm running a dual-core processor. Do I need to set photoshop up any different?

I am using AutoCAD 2010 and when I open and run a drawing for a while the AutoCAD program hangs and won't respond. I have to close the program and then reopen AutoCAD. How come AutoCAD keeps doing this

When I want to choose a tool using my keyboard (for example "A"), it responds after pressing the key 10 times or so.. It takes 2 times longer to make a drawing than with Illustrator CS6.

time it is 3D objects not responding to keyframe animation changes. I have tried creating a new 3D object. I have tried dragging and dropping the new object in to the target doc. I can't copy it withou t rasterizing. Do I have to develop the object from scratch from within the doc? I hope not. the target doc is already very large, this 3D object being the final element. Here are some screen shots
This is what happenes after dragging the 3d object from one spot the another on the canvas. There is only one object. the other is a ghost and disappears after I move in the time line. the actual 3d object remains in the position of the first keyframe no matter how many times I try to move it. Each time I get the "ghost" obejct before moving in the timeline.
Here is a screen shot of the timeline where the keyframes are registering but the object does not move to the new location. Just the "ghost" object appears and then is gone when I move in the timelineHere is the same object on it's own it the original doc . I had no trouble getting it to respond to keframe changes on it's own.acreen shot of the target doc's layer panel. I guess I need to know if there is a way to import a 3D object into a n existing doc without haing to develop in that doc.

So, my laptop crashed, and I had to start again from scratch. I reinstalled Photoshop CS4 from my CD, and it loaded fine. Only now, no matter which tool I choose from the toolbar (blur, zoom, clone, etc,) it will only show the Hand (move tool?) And that doesnt even work.

My PSP X3 locked up and I had to use the Task Manager to close it due to "not responding." This has repeated each time I have tried to load the program, including trying the suggestion of pressing "Shift" and trying to launch the program on a reset. There's no error message, it doesn't get that far. The welcome screen loads, shows the program is updating the cache, etc. but then it goes to no response, no error message, just 100% locked up. Have to use the Task Manage every single time to get it to close.
Right before this happened yesterday, I also experienced difficulty copy and pasting one image or selection into another. No paste commands would appear. I tried doing the "clear" selection as posted online, but no real answer on that either.
short of uninstalling and going through all that crap again. I'd buy the latest version, but since I've had no end of problems with this version I am hesitant to move forward if there are more bugs.

Another problem already! My tool options dialog box is greyed out and will not respond; won't allow me to choose options.
I clicked it off and brought it back (via windows, etc.) but it's still grey and nonfunctioning.

I am unable to download my photos to Elements 10. The program recognizes my Canon camera and he number of photos on its card. But when I tap "get media" nothing happens and I then cannot even cancel or close the photo downloader page, which Task Manager says is not responding.

When I try to run Inventor.exe it shows loading window and then it disappear and there's no response. I've tried to run it from Start->(..)->Inventor and any possible location but nothing worked. I've also tried solution with deleting C:ProgramDataAutodeskADLMCascadeInfo.cas file but this doesn't worked either. Autodesk DWG True View, ReCap and others work correctly. I use student version of Inventor 2014. It has been working previously 6 or 7 times. Same issue was with Inventor 2013 after 3 months no using.

Some time ago, the Gimp stopped responding to my mouse in the image window. In other windows and on menus the mouse works fine (ie I can select brushes and such and use the interface without problems), but in the image window (or more precisely, the canvas area) it's as if the mouse doesn't even exist. All kinds of clicks are ignored, the rulers doesn't show the position of the cursor, and the position in the lower left also isn't updated (it isset once upon entering the window, but after that it's dead).
This originally happened out of the blue one day while using Gimp 2.2.11 . I tried upgrading to 2.2.12 and then 2.3.13, without success. I also deleted the ~/.gimp*directory in the hope that regenerating the config would fix the problem, but no.
No matter what I do, I can't make the Gimp recognize the mouse in the image window. The mouse isn't anything special, and it used to work with the exact same X config I've got now. I haven't changed the xorg.conf file in several months. The Gimp is the only application with this problem.
This is on a dual-core amd64 processor in 64-bit mode (haven't tried 32-bit), Linux kernel 2.6.18, Xorg 7.1.

I just started experiencing issues with the PS CS6 Save for Web dialog window. It is very slow to respond to mouse clicks. I use Creative Suite 6 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with a Gen 3 Core i7, 12GB of ram and a 3GB Nvidia 670m video card so I know it's definitely not hardware related.

I have a 3d scene (FBX) with a 3d camera, rendered 3d elements and filmed elements that need to be comped in a way that required some layers to respond to the 3d camera and some need to stay 2d. Because some of the 2d layers need to occlude layers in 3d space it is not practical to pre comp.
Is there way in Action to get a a layer to ignore a 3d camera or respond to a different camera? In AE for example you would toggle the 3d layer setting.
Also is there a way to make a layer auto orientate towards the camera?

Have the new 64 bit version of Civil 3D 2011 running on a desktop.
Desktop specs
Windows 7 x64
AMD Phenom 8450e Triple-Core processor 2.1 GHz
8 Gb Ram
ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card
I have noticed while running both Civil 3D 2011, and AutoCAD 2011, that the software tends to "not respond" pretty frequently. It also seems to lag every once in a while when scrolling. Not sure if maybe there is something else I need to do to optimize my computer to be able to handle the civil 3D software better? I would think the triple core processor and 8 gigs of ram would be enough, but maybe not.

I have a terabite and a half hard drive with not very much used up. I have b een reading about Adobe 9 and the answer seems to be lack of space. That just can't be true in my case. I have 1.45 TB free of 1.80 TB. Operating system Windows 7. HP desk top computer.
It takes forever when workiing tagging photos, writing comments at bottom of picture etc. I am continually haviing to "wait for program to respond" ???

This morning (10/25/12) after booted my system I had a notification that there was a set of updates to my Photoshop CS6 product set. I went ahead a did the updates which installed successfully. A few minutes later I started up Photoshop Elements 10. The start-up of PSE 10 appeared normal at first, but there was a lot of hard disk activity and the Organizer window would not respond when I tried to move the sliders. I started up Task Manager and could see that PSE 10 was continuing to use processor time. I killed PSE 10 and restarted it. I decided to let it run and so far it's been doing something for over 30 minutes. From time to time the window will flash and occasionally I get an hourglass icon to display over the window. I'm not able to move the window or shrink it. I guess I'll just let it run to see if it will ever become operational. My catalog has entries for about 40,000 images so I'm wondering if the Adobe update affected something in the catalog, although the update did not seem to include anything for PSE. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit edition with all the latest Microsoft updates.
