What is the best method or plugin in order to wrap a label (made in Xara designer pro) around a vitamin pot to that it has a 3d effect - example of effect trying to achieve is attached?
I tried using the mould tool but cannot get it looking realistic.
I have a label, like a rectangular shape, and I want to place it on a picture of a bottle and give the label the same curve as the bottle.
How to curve the label ?
I've figured out how to wrap a label around a cylinder using a 3D Photoshop layer but what I can't figure out is what ratio and size that label needs to be.
For example I have a cylinder and have loaded the texture from the Photoshop document into the Opacity section in the Properties tab but rather than it being in proportion with the cylinder it seems to stretch it. So have to edit the label document and squash the actual label, which I know is not the correct way of doing it.
I'm using PS7 & I have an image of a blank beer bottle & I would like to wrap a label around it.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI want to wrap a label (just letters) on a transparent capsule which is populated, inside, with instance objects of particles. The label has been photoshopped so that the letters are opaque and the background transparent. Using a Composite Material, with the glass material the Base material, I imported the label and thought it would just show the letters of the label on the capsule. What shows up is the label with a grey background. I can make this transparent by dialing down the opacity, but there must be a better way.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm very new to Xara Web Design (I have version 9). I'm trying to wrap the text around my photos. The 'help' file advises to repel text under and/or repel and anchor. I have tried both options and my photo just lands in the middle of the text. The tutorial just says to use the 'select' arrow and move the photo around and the text will form around it. No go....what am I doing wrong????

View 1 Replies View RelatedC3D 2013. We have profile line labels, some of which get manually edited (for example, change the "<[Tangent grade(FP|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|SD|OF)]>" to a static number such as 0.29%).
However, if you CTRL+Click and select one of these labels and change the style of that one label, then the manual edits are lost and the label reverts back to the default string.
Is there any way to turn this behavior off?
Is there a way to "Edit Label Text" in a Parcel area label? Similar to the way you can edit it in other styles.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy text will not wrap around a map that I have created in CorelDraw. The map consists of lines (depicting roads, streams, and railroads that were drawn using the freehand pen) and place names and titles. In both contour and square wrap settings, the text box only recognizes the text objects on the map and ignores all the line objects. I have grouped everything on the map and it shows as one object. Is there a simple solution so that my text will properly wrap around the map. This problem is holding up my publication schedule!

I am trying to make a mock up advertisement for my car. I want to show people what they're companies logo would look like as a vinyl wrap on my car. I have Cut out the painted body of my car with the lasso tool and wouldand have a graphics image and would like to get an exact cut out of the image to fit on my car. I still want the refelctions to show through so it looks glossy instead of matte. I was assuming if I lowered the opacity it would allow for the reflections to go through but then the red of the car shines through and I was having trouble recoloring the car black to match the graphics. Is there anyway to just add shine to the image I wanna use as the wrap?

Now that I have a pentagon crop, I want to print it on canvas. To do this the image can't be further cropped because I did that already. So I have to select a strip of the image at the edges and "flip " that outside of the edge so that the canvas wraps around the stretcher frame (don't want to have a white canvas side on the stretcher).
I have a an image and i want to wrap text around it to form a love heart shape similar to this image: URL....Is it possible to do this in bespoke/manual way, or is it a case of using various degrees of the arc functionality?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am attempting to do a text wrap in Illustrator. Everything is on one layer. Both items I wish to wrap text around are above the text itself. The text is actually the bottom component in the layer. Each of the two items is a graphic with text and each is grouped prior to asking it to wrap text. The text wraps just fine around one item, but will not wrap around the second item. I earlier had created a very similar file and the text wrapped fine around both items, so I know it can. But it doesn't want to in this instance.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble w/ entering text that will auto wrap. I am using PS 6. I drag the text box (which should put me in paragraph mode) and when I type, the words 'disappear' off the edge of the text box instead of auto wrap.
If I hit enter, the next line jumps to the bottom of page/box.
I don't want to have to type each line as a separate text box, but so far that is the only way to get it to work.
I like to make patterns in photoshop and usually my only way of doing this is by making an image, then transforming it down 50% and left 50% (So it takes up 1/4th the image) then pasting the image to fill up the other 3 quadrants. After doing this I can see the seams that would normally be at the edge of my pattern, then I can edit them out. This gets more and more time consuming as my patterns get more complicated.
I was wondering if there is any way to change the brush tool so that if I draw over the edge of the canvas, the brush will automatically send those pixels to the opposide side. Sort of like in old NES games where you could run off the edge of a level and reappear on the other side of it. Or you could stand on the edge of the level and mario would be half on the left and half on the right. Does anyone know what im referring to?
I want to put text on a Christmas ornament. How can I make it look like it's actually printed on the 3-d sphere? I've tried warp text, but that doesn't look right either. Is there a way to do it? Is there some sort of text path tool and then I can apply warp?

I have a layer that I need to transform so it appears to be wrapping around a cylinder like a pop can.
Actually so it appears to be a logo on a baseball cap. I need to give the layer a slight curved effect with a touch of perspective distortion on the ends.
I have a jpg of 88 piano keys, just the keys.

I've got a bunch of bowls and dishes that have been photographed in a perspective view. That is they're not photographed from a top down or profile view. I'd like to place a pattern around the bowl but how do you make the pattern bend and follow the contours of the bowl accordingly?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have to animate a long tentacle like object eminating from something , wrapping around another object and pulling it backwards. I have been looking at splineIK,pflow and some other approaches but they only cover part of the animation I need.
I am playing with PFlow and I can get something to spawn along a spline path to wrap around the object but not sure how to simulate the thing retracting and pulling the object with it.
I know there must be a better way to do this.
