I'm using "multiple titles" to add text on my slideshow. The font size is 34 but when i play the video the text is much bigger. The text size is changing depending on the length of the text i'm using... How to keep the text size 34 ? When using "single title" option i can't change the position manualy where to put the title so i think i need too use the "multiple titles" for sure.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've created a test video with titles, fade ins, fade outs, etc - and everything looks great in the preview, but I noticed after actually creating the video (H.264 640x480, 4:3), the title fonts get resized (they look compressed/horizontally squished).
Is there any way to freeze or preserve the exact font size(s)/aspect ratio of the title text so that it looks the same regardless of format I save out to later? I've poked around to see if there was a right mouse menu option to "lock aspect ratio" (or set "Auto Resize Title = Off") but to no avail.
If not, would a workaround be to save the text in a jpeg and fade that in/out? ...or will that get resized, as well?
is there a function in photoshop cs3 that will reduce the file size of a photo without affecting the physical size of it, i know macromedia fireworks can but thats no help to me unfortunately...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to get a tattoo, similar to the one Johnny Depp has (Google 'winona forever tattoo' and you will see what I mean). But I want the two words to be different in my tattoo. I was hoping to take a pic to the tattoo artist with the words I want in the image.
Is there any way to take an image of his tattoo, and change the words to the words I want in my tattoo? I can't find the font on any font identifying sites, I don't even know if it is a proper font.
I was just provided a pdf for a large. The customer however forgot to build in a bleed. I can see from the imbeded info the file was made in Illustrator cs5. Knowing this I opened the pdf Ill cs5. When i attempt to do this I get an error that there is a linked image missing. So I figured I would place the whole pdf in a new illustrator file. When I fo this I can see all the illustrator layers from the original file. Including the image that supposedly wasn't linked.
Once I have the place pdf in illustrator I can edit the original illustrator elements just fine. The only problem is that now when I try to save this file as a pdf again it's file size grows about ten times, going from just short of 5 mbs to 45 or more mbs. This larger size keeps me from emailing it and unfortunitly the banner printer I was sending it off too doesn't use dropbox.
How I can add a bleed to this pdf without making the file unresonibly large? I have already tried turning off the all optional inclusions on the pdf such as allow Illustrator editablity.

I have a photo of a negative from a 35 mm camera. File "A". It's a jpg file.
I need a picture of two of these negatives side by side.
I opened file "A" and used the marque to highlight the picture and copy it to the clip board.
Then I closed the file and opened a new file "B" and made the demensions of the new file "B" the same height, but I doubled the width.
Everything copied and pasted ok and I mergered down all the layers and saved it as a jpg. file.
Here is the problem.
The new file that I created, File "B" with the two pictures side by side is only about half of the height of the original file.
I've tried everything that I know but I just can't increase the height of the new file "B" I created with the two pictures side by side.
When I open a photo from one of my files in PE10 and want to print it at 4x6 (which I properly indicate in the appropriate box,) it will do that if I keep the photo centered on the page. But if I move the photo to the top of the page so that I can print two photos on the same sheet, it will crop the photo and reduce the size to 4x4 1/4".
Is there any way of keeping the size at 4x6 at the top of the page, or can I print only with the photo centered on the page?
my font is so small and its font size is at 72pt how can i make it big again
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've observed that VS X5 usually keeps at least 4 levels of last-used project files - some of the time. But I notice that from one day to the next, that last used list can disappear, irregularly.
In another piece of software (unrelated) I use, a scan history log gets kept in a temp file, which lasts only until the next time a cleaner like Cclean goes looking for all those .tmp files and similar, to clean up all the leftovers on a machine that clutter up its HDD space and slag its performance.
Does VS X5 do something similar for the last used project files?
If vendors have to ape MS in this sort of user friendly facility, they can at least put the data in a space that's unique to the application. I've never noticed that MS was guilty of losing the last files used details - pity the copiers cannot do the same.
I'm having difficulty organizing photos into templates for a CD cover. The pic that I want to have on the front cover is too large and need to reduce the size, but at the same time keep sharpness and quality.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Photoshop CS5.5 with Suitcase Fusion 15.0.5. When I use any kind of typeface in a Photoshop file it appears jagged. When I rasterized the type, the edges are still jagged. It does display the correct font and not defaulting to a generic one. It is just that the curved edges are bad.
I am to figure out if this is a Photoshop or Suitcase issue. I have reinstalled the suitcase plugin, no change. Reset Photoshop to it's defaults. My other apps (e.g. Adobe, Apple and Microsoft), the fonts look great.
correct font style from 1071 group code in style table of dxf file ? I am able to read the Font name and font file name from group 1000 and 3 respectively, but not able to get the font style: whether it is Regular, Bold, Italic etc.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi have a client who needs a big image (2000x2830) resizing to 595x842 and saving to a .pdf file and still keeping its high quality resolution even when its zoomed in on.
So far i have resized the image (just using IMAGE-IMAGE SIZE and put in the numbers 595x842) but it has lost its quality when zoomed in although it does look good at 100% but i need it to look good even at 500-600%.
1) Is there a way when packing UVs to force 3DS to use the entire 0-1 space? There always seems to be padding regardless of if it is set to 0 in the software. If I'm using a tilable texture this creates seams since it doesn't go all the way to the end of the UV space. I have to manually snap the vertex points on the UV to the corners of the 0-1 space.
2) Is there a way to have 3DS keep the size of the grid in the UV editor? If I set the UV grid size to something specific it always resets it back to .5 if I go back in at another point or for a different object.
I thought standard Windows behavior is that when I re-size a dialogue box that next time the box is activated, it remembers the size it was when I last used it.
Why does this not happen for me in Civil 3D?
When i import a DXF file into Illustrator created in AutoCAD, i have the problem that the positions of the elements (rectangles, circles etc.) are not on the exact position as created in AutoCAD. The variations are very minor (Centerposiotion of a element x 5mm y 5mm in AutoCad = x 4.969 y 4.949 after import in Illustrator). Sometimes the sizes of the elements variate also slightly (a line which is 102mm in AutoCAD is 101.99mm after import in Illustrator) but not generally.
I tried various files with different export versions from AutoCAD, including different measures such as mm to inch and points and so on. I tried also the different importing options in Illustrator. The closest i come is Centerposiotion of a element x 5mm y 5mm in AutoCad = x 4.969 y 4.949 but never exact. How to get a DXF file into illustrator by keeping every element in place and size?
Is there any way I can scale images down in size, whilst keeping the quality of the image? I am a Media teacher having to use this software with the class and they must have high production values for their controlled assessment. However, I do not know how to get around the problem that all the work is predominantly blurred because students have scaled down the pictures resulting in horrendous blurring.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using v X4.I have a video clip that contains audio that I split off into its own audio track, right click split audio. I then edited out a couple parks of the video replacing the cut video with a still image. right click replace video with still image. So far so great, everything plays back perfectly. When I put transitions in where the video meets the photo or when the photo then meets up with the video again the audio gets out of sync. Is there a way to get the transition in there and still have the audio track be in sync with the rest of the video?
V=video T=transition "photo for 4 seconds" is where the photo has bee inserted. A= audio track X=out of sync
I have a HD mov file. When I drag it into my timeline I don't get a message to match the project properties to the file type even with the correct preference. I understand that with the mov file type this doesn't work in X4 anyway. Anyway, after a bit of trimming I want to create a file with exactly the same specifications as the original.
I obviously cant use same as project settings option. For some reason I do not have the same as first clip option either. So how do I tell X4 to keep the original file properties when creating a new file?
I create a text box and paste in the info into it. Now I want to resize the box to fit the space available but the handles end up changing the font size. I need the software to change the auto line feeds as the box's size is changed.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI want to keep the original audio captured with video footage but remove the actual video and replace it with other video footage taken and still images. I'm guessing that this is possible using the overlay track, but ideally, I would like to just remove the original video so that I can use two new images between the main track and other "images" on the overlay track. I have no need for the original video, just the audio. Is this possible? If not, is there any way to insert audio from video onto either a music or narration track scrap the video portion?

But the actual text looks differently in size in my computer(after installing the required fonts). And the designer said in his computer, these two texts looks in same size.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am editing and saving pictures from a original size from the camera width 2623 pixel( 8.73in) X 4166 pixel(13.887in). I need to make prints as 5x7in and 4x6in. It seems that no matter how I size them in adobe CS6 they will not print in correct size at either URL.... which I use for prints. I also have pictures from my new camera, canon 7d and it's picture size is 3456 poixel(48in) X 5184 pixel(72in) , also can't get these sized correctly.

The 8x12 pixel size is 768x1152 and the 8x6 pixel size is 768x576. As to the need of being 11.5 I knew that, but I had this plan to work larger in order to downsize it and not lose any detail of clarity. If I'm understanding some of the other things I read you get a 100 pix per inch, but paint.nets is 96 per inch?
But let me throw a couple more things at you as well. I've made some scrapbook pages in what I had hoped were 10x13's to be printed out for framing...however, when taken to the Walmart printer it cuts off half of one side like the pic is too big..this is even when going for a 11x14 and larger size. I resized them, still cuts them off. Yet I make a 6x4 canvas and try to use it for my desktop background and it's too big for it in the "fill screen" mode, not mention the distortion.
Is there just a simple, cut and dried formula for image, canvas size that will come out the print dimensions I need? I'm sure I'm missing something basic, but my mind only works in basic mode!!
So i created a new project in Illus. CS5 with an artboard size of 700x150 pixels. I have two graphics in there that are about 215 pixels tall so part of it flies off the artboard, but i have a clipping part that hides all the parts that i dont want to see.
The problem is when i go to Save for Web, the ouput image is 700x215 because it includes the space used by the graphics, that fly off the board, but you dont even see it. I was able to get around this by opening the file in photoshop and then cropping to 700x150 so the extra space is removed, but there should be a way to save this in Illus. without the hassel.
I updraged to Lightroom 5 and noticed that the interface is a lot bigger than Lightroom 4. I have an Acer Aspire S7 which has one of those HiDPI displays. Is there any way to get the interface the size it was in Lightroom 4.
