I have a question though, after exporting Revit data to an database through ODBC, is there a plugin or anyway that I can use that data to deliver the 3D image to the web? I read from other threads that I can convert the revit file to some other 3D format for people to view, but that's not my goal.
My goal is to have real-time data updates to the database and reflect the changes in the 3D model.
I use different plugins to enhance lightroom (4.1 at this time). Sometimes I am not happy with a plugin, and remove it. This plugin may however add data to the catalog, which may increase its size.
I think that when you remove a plugin, all the related data (if any) remain in the catalog. So my question is : is it possible to remove unwanted data from a catalog -- without of course changing anything to the regular LR data ?
I have a question if there is some kind of plug in for Coreldraw to easy make personalized printing?
For example Kodak calls it Variable Data Print System and you can easy starts personalizing your bussiness cards.

I am working on parsing the psd file and saving the data as per doc of photoshop 6. I need to make an image from the layer data alone with different combinations of layers selected, visible etc... and not using the merged data section in the file.

We can schedule out all the information with no issues, however when we export to ifc we can only find the “Test” information. Are we missing a setting in the export or have we create the project parameter up incorrectly.
I'm working with some assemblies, making some schedules in Revit's enviroment and export it in Excel. I was wondering if there's anyway of use this data (either Excel or the Revit's schedule) in a custom tag for insert in my sheets

i have added a button in file menu by using AI SDK , now i want to convert an AI image into a JPEG format.
Will it be possible by using the same SDK API or i will have to run a script file on this button click event.

The best one seems to be Alien Skin Blow Up 3 but I can't find out if it is compatible. I did install a copy on X2 recently but it never worked properly, crashing at the end of the render stage. Is that because the plugin is not compatible?
The fact that it installed and worked up to the render output suggests that it is compatible but, maybe not!
genuine factals plugin is a part of Photoshop CS3? I note that a plugin for Photoshop (version not given) is advertised for sale by OnOneSoftware.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use gimp for image processing in my job as Forensic Questioned Document Examiner. One of the requirements when we elaborate an image is to be able to relate what modifications have been done to the image, in order to make the result reproducible.
So I was wondering: is there a feature or plugin that records all the modifications, filters, ... applied to an image (taking of course into account undos etc), and perhaps saves them into the resulting file (gimp format at least ) for later reference and inspection?
I've been a GIMP user for a couple of years and have just encountered a new and unexpected problem with version 2.8.4. I'm attempting to export a file to JPEG format, and am receiving the message:
"Saving 'FILENAME' failed: JPEG image plug-in could not save image."
I ensured I had adequate disk space, tried saving to different locations (including other drives on our network), tried resizing the image, and nothing will work. The message just recurs each time, no matter what I try.
I linked a revit file of some renovations that had been done into an older revit file. This worked fine accept it did not transfer the room data over. When i try to put new rooms in they take the volume of the older rooms not the renovation imports. Why? Why? and why?
Even if I draw out the rooms when i place the room they are still separated and defined by the older room dimensions. Thats not cool that is sad?
I do a lot of cookie cutter type buildings with pretty much the same room names and finishes for each building. Is it possible to predefine the room names with the identity data (to incl. base finish, floor finish, occupancy etc) in my template file and then just select this as I place the rooms?
I have tried creating the room with the identity data but all I can do is select the room. The predefined identity data does not translate to the new room number.
For example:
I create a room called 'Room Test 1' with a base finish, ceiling finish, floor finish and wall finish. I then go to place a room on the drawing. I can select 'Room Test 1' but all it does is add another 'Room Test 1' with a different room number and no identity data.
Is this a Revit Hard Code issue or am I overlooking something? I have created some In-Place Masses (with floor mass for each level) and I have created 2 Project Parameters for for the Mass Schedule. Parameters are Block and Sub Block as Text under Identity Data and in the Mass Category. When the Mass Heading is ticked all mass categories are ticked. So Im thinking, it should not matter what type of Mas schedule I setup. The Parameters should be available in the fields.
The Schedule is created as a Mass Schedule. and the Parameters show up in the field and data is populated as I expect.
I want to create a Mass Floor Schedule and the parameters are not showing up in the fields list. Also I can not Add Parameters from the Schedule dialogue window as those Parameters has already been created. When I select the Mass Floor in a 3D view the Identity Data fields in the Properties window are mostly greyed out. The Project Parameters do not appear as Identity Data fields and the Edit Type is greyed out (not that Edit Type maters but it adds to the thinking process)
I wonder if you can make a table of families picking "elements of details." Why? I mean, when I do a detail included screws, foams, sealants, etc ... all these elements I have done as families of "elements of detail."Now I want to collect these items on tables and include calculated values to determine the amounts thereof.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently installed X4 Ultimate which comes with the proDAD Mercolli SE image stabilizer plugin. The problem I'm having is after I apply proDAD to a video clip and burn it to a disc or video file, an error message is displayed over the scene in the clip telling me I need to run proDAD's analysis mode again.
I've tried deleting the video filter by clicking on the X to the right of the filter box. It goes away indicating the proDAD filter was deleted properly. Then I reapply the proDAD plugin filter. The proDAD analysis mode runs OK and the final image stabilized result runs correctly INSIDE the VS editor. BUT when I have VS render an MP2 video file or DVD file with project content that has a clip with the proDAD filter applied, the proDAD error message appears telling me to re-analyze the clip.
I need to get the visible portion of a particular layer in the final image.Lets say i have 4 layers and some portion of each layer is visible in the flattened image i would like to get the portion from each of the layers. The input will be in xcvf format.I will ideally want to automate this and output to file in some format looking like this,
Layer1 ---> Co-ordinates of visible polygon from this particular layer in the image .
Layer2 ---> And so on.
How to proceed with the script. I think brute force is to take each non-transparent pixel and and find the same pixel in all above layers if it is not found it will be added to the region.Or something exists like selection from alpha combined with multiple layers ?
Or if there is a way to find out for an image with all layers visible which pixel came from which layer ?
Using Anim8er to make a movie sequence of someone walking. Export images as BMP images.
Select the walking guy and delete the back ground. Found that the walking dude is a little high in the picture. ( I want it 8 pixels from the bottom, not the 16 pixels it currently is.)
I will be cropping each picture. is there a way of selecting the exact same crop area over 200 pictures? In the mean time I will change the camera angle to compensate the height.
Is there a way of using a plug in such as the ALIGN plugin to position the image to a particular point?
there's nothing in that dropdown menu for you to select your source image/layer in the Move Path plugin.I am using an XCF (Gimp) file, with many layers. I selected a particular layer, then I opened the Move Path plugin.

One day, I re-open the same file and the data-connected image is gone!
I try disconnecting and deleting the image, and then try re-connecting it but all I get is an error message "There was a problem adding data to Map."
So here's the problem. I managed to delete a photo from my digital camera. Now I need it back. I recovered the file, but strangely, it's not actually recovered.
Now, I know file recovery is hit and miss, and since this was a photo from the camera itself (not a memory card), things get more complicated. Anyway, I manged to get back the photo...sort of.
The file I now have is 160x120, instead of the 3040x2288 it should be. Now, if this was an actual thumbnail, I would expect the file size to be pretty small. Instead, this little 160x120 image is 2.16MB. This leads me to belive that somehow I can get the real photo (or at least something better than the little image) back from the file. There has to be a reason for that much extra data, right?
Does anybody know how to do this? I figured Photoshop might have some advanced sort of raw file reading or some sort of rebuilding/recovery. Alternatively, someone could point me to a good recovery program (or even some other way to do this).
If it helps, the camera that the file came from is an HP Photosmart M627.
I have a large number of images for which I need to collect various data points that photoshop and its plugins produces (i.e., histogram RGB mean, SD, etc.). I'm looking for a way to write this data to a *.dat or *.txt type file from automated manipulations. The structure would need to include the image filename, and all the values captured that are associated with the image.
