Can I change the color of the Invisible Line (can't find that line modify)? OR does every line created thru manage line style have to have a weight (am I able to make a zero line weight or even a pattern that shows nothing.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI created a color scheme based on the Department parameter. I've named them accordingly and assigned colors to my liking. I've created Department types for Circulation, Classroom, Core, Elevator, and so on. Now I want to change the value of Classroom to Student / Instructional. I can't seem to change the value with in the editing dialog for the Color Scheme. Also when I change on of the Departments to the new name it creates another color and value.

Is it possible to get the room boundary line in a curtain wall to be set to the inner face of the mullion instead of the inner face of the glass?
I have looked at the System family library but cant find a setting for changing this.
Also, setting the location line is greyed out. Why?
If I draw clockwise I get the location line on the inner face of the glass even if the greyed out location line setting in the options bar is set to center. Why?
I was having trouble with the edit sketch options coming up when I initiated a command that needed it. I upgraded to Update 2 and It seemed to fix it. But now it's happening when when I select a floor. I'm not getting the option to edit the floor. The context options don't match what I have selected. What is the problem and how can I fix this?

View 10 Replies View RelatedSet the Trace Bitmap so that the outline color defaults to the same as the fill color on the resulting curves? Currently, resulting curves have to be edited one color at a time to give them hairline outlines with the same color as the fill. It's mighty tedious for complex vector art.
View 9 Replies View Relatedi need to know if there is any way to control the points in the point cloud.
1. either only import the point cloud in a polyline area i specify
2. add all the points within a boundary not limited to the pointclouddensity = 100, freaking default is 15 almost cost my job today. extremely stressed out right now.
i am talking about extreme lidar surveys. 1km 1km LAS/0.5m contours/xyz files times 355 of them. covers a 2km wide corridor. but i only need 100m wide after i define the road alignment. no need to have all the extra points.
right now i densify the heck out of it and end up like 5-12m points. decent but not good enough because the geotech is bitching about that accuracy is not good for some feasibility study. or is there any software i can do this besides civil 3d.
what i want can also do is automate the 'add points to surface" under point cloud and have the software do multiple boundaries without having me baby it over the night. right now every click is 5 minutes and adds like 400k to 1 million points. Civil 3D 2012
How to give “no color” for the boundary of the layout?
I wanted to give the boundary of the lay out “no color” or “white” such that it disappears as the drawing is printed out but couldn’t figure out how to achieve it.
Also, I’m not sure if there are some other styles for the boundary of the lay out
Software: AutoCAD 2014, AutoCAD C3D, AutoCAD M3D, Revit

Kaspersky 2013.
I am creating a two-storey single-family house. The exterior wall assembly is Core Boundary, 3/8" Stucco (we apply a Stucco material to our Sheathing so in Section we aren't showing a finish material on the exterior), 5 1/2" <By Category> (our studs), Core Boundary, Air Barrier, 1/2" Gypsum Wall Board. We draw the floor system to the face of our studs and extend our walls to the bottom of the floor system, then when we join geometry the floor cuts out the wall leaving only the wall sheathing extending to the face of our floor system.
My problem is when I create a 3D perspective view with the camera my floor system is showing through the walls. It seems to thin out/disappear the larger the perspective view is on the page, but I can only make it so big on C-size page.
Is there a way to hide what Revit shows detailed behind the face of a material?(I tried hiding the floor system in my perspective view but it stills shows the floor outline, I'm assuming because it is being cut out of the assembly).
Any way to convert area boundary lines to room separation lines?

View 14 Replies View RelatedWhat I am trying to do is check if a shape does not match a known set of values. If it does not it will run code where the "If msgbox" is at. What I have works if my line or object has a Cyan outline. The issue I am having is when it is checking a line that is any other color that doesn't have Cyan = 100, it errors out.
Below is what I am trying to use.
Sub Start() Dim s As Shape Dim sr As ShapeRange ' ActivePage.Shapes.All.CreateSelection Set sr = ActiveSelectionRange For Each s In sr If s.Type = cdrTextShape Then GoTo s_A If s.Outline.Color.CMYKCyan = 100 Then GoTo s_A If MsgBox("dude", vbOKCancel) = vbCancel Then GoTo s_B s_A: Next ss_B:End Sub
I'm creating an image using characters from known brand, and I have to match the colors exactly. In Photoshop Elements, I can use the Color Picker to obtain colors directly from an image online. I'm not sure I can do that with Xara. But Elements doesn't have a vector pen, which Xara does, so what I'd like to do is outline my images using Xara and color them in with Elements.
Can I do that? Will there be any "technical difficulties"?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI used a 2d polyline to create a surface boundary for a surface created. The polyline is a closed loop. For the boundary type it is outer, unchecked Non-destructive breakline, and mid-ordinate distance = 1.
My problem is that when I do this I only get a small portion of the surface to show up within my surface boundary. If I don't have a surface boundary the entire drawing surface shows up no problem.
The purple polyline is my boundary and the light blue is the surface created within the boundary.
