I'm trying to find the best standalone or software combo to use for LEED energy modeling simulation submittals. I hope that Revit Architecture 2012 is at least one of the best choices for building the model. I haven't gotten into the modeling and analyze features yet but I'm hoping they are DOE2 compliant?
I've tried running an energy simulation for a building located in Recife, Brazil, but the weather data is incorrect, even though it displays the correct location. How I can use correct climate data with Cloud services?
I am getting the error "Operation could not be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.) Couldn't open "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.pkg".
photoshop cs6 was working fine a few weeks ago. After not using it for about 2 weeks, I try opening a RAW file and I get this error every time. JPGs open and work fine. I have extensively searched on the internet for solutions and have tried everything such as: disk checking, deframgenting, playing around with photoshop preferences, deleting temp files, resetting preferences, clearing disk space. I have assigned two hard drives for photoshop, one with 16 GB free and the other with 8 GB free.
Trying to install LR4 upgrade and it won't install.
Error msg when clicking the yellow package reads: The operation couldn't be completed.(com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.) Couldn't open "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.pkg".
My system is an iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo w/ 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3.Just upgraded to 10.6.3 Snow Leopard and the HD has 893GB available.
I downloaded LR 4.0 as an upgrade to 3 for my iMac. When I try to install, the error message I receive is Operation could not be completed ([url]... error-1). What's the problem?
I want to know all about solar radiation analysis in revit 2013. any tutorial link? I have tried it on my design but it only opens sun path. and there is no "add ins" option.
using inventor for FEA analysis in inventor on an imported SolidWorks file. But I am now having trouble creating a good mesh on an assembly. The largest part of the assembly gets an error "mesh failed: body failure:filename". I have attached a snip of the aftermath of the "mesh view".
how to recreate this logo? The effect I am most looking for would be the the ghosted lines outside the "M" that are present. I am wanting to recreate that effect for a postcard I am creating with a vector image of a flow that I created. Attacghed is a jpeg of the monster logo.
I am working on modeling a pond riser. I had one model with a series of small round perforations in the riser and I needed to look at a version that used larger, square cut-outs in the riser. So, I performed a "save-as" and adjusted my orifices to match my new model requirements. When I attempted to run the model, I received the following error: "ERROR 537 : Unable to perform multiple storm analysis, no storm was selected.".
I have encountered this one time before and was able to go back to the first model and start over. However, now, even when I run the first model (small round perfs), I receive the same error.
I have a storm event assigned for both models but the program does not seem to recognize this any longer.
Pictures are not shown in the small window in Bridge, and if I click on a thumbnail, it opens CS with the message: The operation could not be completed. Not enough space. What can I do?
I am getting. I'm running Win7 64bit, photoshop cs6 (also 64bit), have an i7 2600 and 16GB of RAM and an ati 5870 card running the latest drivers (12.8)
So, the operation could not be completed whenever I try to run the oil paint plugin and when I try to use the iris blur, my canvas goes blank. If I pull it out of docked mode and put it in a window, it's still blank until I move the window about and I can see my image, but as soon as I stop moving the window around, it's blank again.
VS X4 Ultimate still has a very annoying bug that I noticed already in VS X3.
Here it is.
I have a very simple project: 1 AVCHD clip (1920x1080, 25fps, interlaced), preceded by a simple title on black background and followed by another title on black background. The clip and the 2 titles are connected by transitions (standard transition provided by VSX4). No effects are used. The audio of the clip is muted and a WAV file is placed in an audio track. I rendered into AVCHD interlaced 1920x1080 (the standard template from Corel) and I can see a place-holder of the final file in Windows Explorer: the file has size 0KB because the VSX4 is currently editing it. At the end of the rendering, the file disappear! NO file is created and VSX4 gives NO error message. Notice that the same behavior did not happen with another video clip, same characteristic (I just used the same project and replaced the video clip). The other video clip is taken from the same camera, with no different setting, and imported to the PC at the same time. Also, on the PC there is enough space to store the rendered file.
This is the part that mostly piss me off: I can accept that could exist some issue with the video clip, or the chosen transition, or whatever else... but what I can't really digest is that if anything goes wrong, the SW creates no file without reporting any error message, like if everything were ok.
source video 1080i(tv capped) format:ts 25 fps no audio
output optinos: MPEG Transport-Stream Files 24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 25 fps Frame-based (HDMV-PAL), 16:9 H.264 Video Video data rate: Variable (Max. 9900 kbps) Audio data rate: 384 kbps Dolby Digital Audio, 48 KHz, 2/0(L,R)
i tried many times , sometimes the render was comple without warning or error , sometimes the render process was failed by the message "File format mismatch" . but there`s no output video in my computer in either way
I have a fully completed drawing that is in 'architectural' (inches) and I would like to be able to change all of the 'feet & inches' linear dimensions (which form part of the drawing when the layer is turned on) to solely 'mm' instead.
The UNITS command keeps coming to mind, but I know that's not how to go about it. I've Googled for like 45 mins and read some highly overcomplicated instructions that lost me.
(note I am posting this in the beginners section )
simplified way to change this either via a command or changing settings via the toolbar?
Should I turn off the screensaver and/or energy saver on my Mac during rendering? I've been rendering (or I thought so) for more than 2 hours and when I came back to check on the progress it was basically in the same place as when I left. Now sitting here watching it it's moving again.
I'm trying to utilize Revit ability to link an IES file as a lighting source in a lighting family. I'm running Revit Architecturer 2009. The ies files i downloaded from the manufacturer website produce an image inconsistent with what i would expect a light source to provide, instead of the "white" light, i get a red/green/black/blue image. I can link any of the ies files that are provide with Revit, and they work fine. it's only this Manufacturer provide file that's causing the error.
I was working on a file earlier today when it failed while processing after I edited a particularly extensive mass. It asked if I wanted to save a recovery file, I said yes, but I am not sure it worked properly (it might have said 'could not be saved' but i clicked 'OK' quickly so i could re-open revit and get on with work)
Anyways, when I went back to start again it said I had to manually recover the file and that I should ask Autodesk support. I looked on forums and they said i should go to the 'open' dialogue box, check the 'audit' box and reopen the file, but after doing this I got a second error message that said something along the lines of "your file has an incorrect schema'.
This project is not part of any collaboration, it's standalone and on my home PC.I couldn't find any email to write to, or number to call, or FAQ, so here I am.
This is the third damned problem I've had with this file, might have something to do with a trojan on my computer chewing into my RAM but whatever the case it's time this crap stopped!
I am trying to print from revit 2013 and every time I try and to print a sheet, view, or anything the program crashes saying "unrecoverable error". I have tried updating the software, reinstalling the software, and the error still continues.
This morning when I started Revit 2013 and tried to open a file that I was working on last night, I got this error: "encountered an improper argument." The file will not open.
I tried to open a different file, and I get another error saying "An unrecoverable error has occured. The program will now be terminated.... " Revit will close.
I cannot open any files, or get Revit to run. Is my installation corrupt? Do I need to re-install or is it possible to try a repair?
