We are working with a company that will be sending us DWG files. They do not use the same layer colors as us and I am trying to find a lisp that would allow me to set up a table with the layer names and the color I want them to be so that I can quickly change all the layers to our companys color standards.
Example:
Layer 1 = Color 1
Layer 2 = Color 15
Layer 3 = Color 10
Etc.
I don't know a lot about lisp but I figure if I could find a lisp that did this I could plug in my layer/color assignments and it would work.
Is there a way to get the same colors on the drawing when exporting to ACAD?
1. If I user ColorIndex the colors are transfered from RGB => Color Index 0-255 giving slightly incorrect colors, this is what I use and have a VBA match the colors in AutoCAd, but unfortunatley I have a family where some objects are "correct" colors, but some object in the family just get wierd color and whatever I do I just can't get all of them to have the same. This uses the layers and properties file to define some colors.
2. If I use TrueColors in the export only the objects that have true colors set in the override, everything else is white. This does not as far as I can tell use the layers and properties file to define colors not set in the view manually.
I would like to have the Exported DWG use the same TrueColors as in the drawing with in the Revit Drawing, but apparently it is not possible.
how to have different colors for different wall faces? Like all have a plaster finish on the external side, but the colors are different, but when I try to change the color of the external finish, it changes it for all the walls.

Searched and find, how to change the colors of the types, not why they are displaying in other colors than black.
What is the best way to assign different colors to different objects types (e.g. columns, and beams) or different colors to the same object type (e.g. columns) in a model?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an AutoCAD dwg file that I would like to import into a Revit generic annotation .rfa file. It's a logo file that we're trying to use for a titleblock. It was originally made into a dwg from an EPS file. I would redraw in Revit but when I try it I get the 'line is too short' error. So it goes.
My problem is this- when I set a RGB value in the AutoCAD file, then import it into Revit with the option to preserve colors, it doesn't show the same color I assigned. I know there are some issues with converting ACAD colors to Revit colors.
It started yesterday evening. i had been working all day. today can't use CS6 PS at all as my job is painting an illustration. Where do I begin to sort this out? I did install Sugar Sync yesterday as per client request.

In the photo below she was originally in normal colour and the bikini was blue. I would really love to do this with some shots of my wife but cant get the colour to work.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm working on an online store for flamenco products. We have wide range of dresses and shoes and it's almost impossible to get good quality photos for all of them.
My main concern is that I would like to present all different color options in decent quality imagery. I was thinking of taking the best image for each and simply photo shopping the colors.
Seeing that I will have to do a lot of color options for a lot of dresses and shoes. Moderately quick, decent quality and adaptable to bulk photo shopping.
Basically meaning that I cannot put the care and detail I would if I just photo shopped a single image, I don't need high res pixel perfect quality. It should just look decent and I should be able to do it in a moderate amount of time.
I have a picture with large area of color: #fffdfd, when I save it for web (jpg) this color is changed to #fefcfd (in JPG).
I just can not save as JPG with #fffdfd. (was trying uncheck convert to sRGB, do not embed color profile - always #fffdfd changes to #fefcfd when save for web)
However, color #fefcfd when save for web , does not change.
Why some colors change and some not? Is it a bug ?

I need to change the color of head for this man from silver to blue (but not too blue, something to fit with header). But to maintain the overflow effect. (if possible)

Deep purple turns pink and black fading objects tuns into lines. Furthermore, when I use 'collect for output' pdf preset 'prepress' colors are off to and when I try to use 'current proof settings' corel just shuts down.
colors in corel
colors in pdf after 'colect for output'
and when I print it, colors are way more off, you can't even see the red, because all purple turns pink.
Ok I am interested in changing the colors of cars. I.E. I have a 57 Chevy that I am not sure what color I want to paint and would like to use photoshop to help me decide. The only thing I can do is paint it with a flat color I would like to change it right from the actually pic. I can change the hue/ saturation but that also changes the background. Am I supposed to create a layer for the car itself? It seems that when I do that it doesn't do the same color for all of the body. The car right now has different color paint in the jpeg I am using. I could understand if it was just one color that would be easy but I can't seem to do it for multipule colors. But I have seen where guys that have the same color for one particuliar thing be changed for all.

Here's my question:
How do I change the colors in the picture, but still make it look real?
Is there a way to change a range of colors to another. Let say I want to change a pic with different shades of red to blue. Which tool would do the trick?

I made an image that has only two colors (not grayscale) only true black and true white. I want to know how to change these colors independently to whatever color. Basically what I did to this image was throw it in MS Paint and converted it to black and white.
How would I change these colors?
I want to be able to change colors across my entire image. Kind of like the bucket tool when it is on universal, but with a few changes. It would be able to change dark red into dark blue and also light red into light blue at the same time when the tool is used. It would scale based on the lightness of the color throughout the entire image.
I could basically choose blue, click on any red part with the tool, and then every red color (with a certain tolerance) would change into blues of the same lightness and darkness as red. I was thinking that this would be useful for changing the colors of objects that have certain shading effects or shadows in them.
In one of the drawing i use many layers which is different color and used blocks which is also different layer and different color and many more object.I wanna set all color into 253.What is the shortest process about it..I wanna change all layers color into 253..
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a couple of blocks I've drawn in the wrong layer. I manage to get them over into the layer I want, but the color remains the same as the layer I drew them in. Do you have to go in an change it to a set color instead of "color by layer", or is there another way?
