AutoCAD LT :: Can't Open 2014 After Install
Jun 15, 2013on my initial start up, after installing the program, i've been getting this fatal error, "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled access violation reading 0x0000 exception at 92af22dh". I un-installed and re-installed and it still occurs. can't open the program. I'm using windows xp.

POSTREQUISITE=ACAD_PSPACK;ADSYNC;ACADSKETCHUPIMPORT
Remove ADSYNC; from that line so you are left with:
POSTREQUISITE=ACAD_PSPACK;ACADSKETCHUPIMPORT
 I do this operation. I uncheck on my deployment Autodesk 360 on AutoCAD.But when I try to install AutoCAD he still install the Autodesk 360.
When I search on my deployment folder all the setup.ini. I found 5 of them.But only 1 have the line that I change.
AutoCAD Inventor :: 2014 Crashes At Launch After Install?
Jun 20, 2013I had both Inventor 2012 and 2013 (and entire Product design suite of both program versions) installed on my Win 7 64 bit Dell Precision Laptop, all working flawlessly. On recieving a copy of 2014 I decided to uninstall Inventor 2012 which I carried out through Add/Remove programs in Windows 7. Then I tried to launch Inventor 2013 and got an 0xc0000005 system error as per attachment 1.
I then went through the entire removal process to completely remove Autodesk products to do a fresh install of Autodesk 2014. This worked out and I did everything exactly as suggested here... [URL]
Then I disabled my Avast virus checker and stopped the process via task manager.
I then did a complete fresh install by right clicking on the Setup file on the Product design Suite 2014 dongle and choosing "open as administator" which I started without any issues. The installation then stopped while installing INventor 2014 with a 1406 error as per attachment 2. I searched the registry for the file mentioned in attachment 2 and deleted it from the registry and clicked retry and the installation finished without any further errors. I then restarted my computer and launched Inventor and again I recieved the 0xc0000005 error.
I then updated Inveontor with the DL21503391 update 1 from here... [URL]
I then updated 360.
I then tried to relaunch Inventor by right clicking and choosing "run as administrator" and proceeded to get the error 0xc0000005 as per attachement 1.
Obviously uninstalling 2012 is where the system 0xc0000005 issue began. I am trying to avoid a fresh Win 7 install.

Jan 9, 2014I'm preparing for our office wide install of Infrastructure Design Suite 2014 so we can begin training/using Civil 3D 2014.
I’m reading through readme file for the Architecture-MEP 2014 Object Enabler & noticed that it’s installed as part of the normal installation of all AutoCAD 2014 based products, including Civil 3D…woohoo!  Unfortunately, the Structural & Plant OE’s don’t appear to have a readme file. Are these also installed as part of the normal installation of C3D 2014? Or will they need to be installed separately?

Jun 25, 2013The installation of IDSP has been an adventure. After a few rough starts Autodesk support team got us through the installation of 2 computers. Now I am attempting to install IDSP on my computer and have run into a number of errors that between this forum and Autodesk support I have worked through.
I start the install once again and looked like everything was installing ok.
That is until I get an message "Allied product is not found" and the install fails and removes all installations up to this point. The failure happened while installing the Civil 3D Language Pack.
Install log states:

AutoCAD Inventor :: 2014 New Install - Missing Green Dot And Invisible Icons In Nav Bar
Jun 1, 2013Have installed inventor 2014 as part of the Product Design Suite Premium 2014 & have a few issues.
1). In sketch mode when drawing a line/circle etc there is usually a green dot in the centre of the crosshair, this is not vissible at all making it difficult (if not impossible) to see where the cursor is snapping to. The same happens in the drawing mode when dimensioning. I've checked the options but can't see anything obvious.
2). The icons in the 'Navigation Bar' are invisible, I've checked the opacity levels & irrespective of the setting they are still invisible. You can hover the mouse pointer over where they should be & they work, they're just not visible.
Also, the close, minimise & restore down icons in the top right corner are also invisible. Similar to the navigation bar issue, they work, they're just invisible.
Have tried uninstall & reinstall, & have downloaded & installed the update, but this doesn't solve these issues.
AutoCAD 2013 :: New Install Of Building Design Suite Standard 2014 - Tool Palettes Don't Work
Jun 24, 2013We have just recently install Building Design Suite Standard 2014 and the tool palettes DO NOT work.
Clicking on the standard palettes that load with ACAD will not even work. We have also tried to make new ones and the will not MAKE (for lack of words).Â
Here is the Autocad warning it gives us:
Unable to execute the tool. Possible causes are:
-The tool is not registered properly. Please check your installation.
-the tool is from another application and is incompatible with the current application.
We are running a new copy and it IS registered.

However if i create a new project in 2014 the render works fine, it only seams to be a problem when I upgrade a project from revit 2012 or 2013.
Revit :: 2014 Keeps Freezing / Not Responding?
Jul 24, 2013The program works fine until I try to edit the boundary of the topography. As soon as I click "edit boundary", the screen goes black for about an hour, then comes back with about 25% loaded. This cycle repeats until the loading is complete, so it takes me a few hours just to enter edit mode. The file is only 17, 280 KB, and Ive been running 240,000 KB files without an issue whatsoever.

May 18, 2009When installing Photoshop CS4 I get the following error: Adobe Photoshop CS4 International English Language PackError:Error 2. Adobe Photoshop CS4 International English Language Pack_x64Error:Error 2. Selecting continue tells me that CS4 and CS4 x64 installed correctly. If I just continue on and try to launch the program, I get an error box that says: "Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, Please reinstall the application." Reinstall didn't help.

I havent used Revit or created any BIM content before and I was hoping to open another manufactures file (*.RFA) in Inventor to disect the file and how to create our own files. May 15, 2013my laptop has been stolen and I had to buy a new PC...The new one is a windows 8, therfore, I had to install revit 2014....the problem is that I have been working on a graduate class project using revit 2012, and now revit 2014 will not open the files I built on revit 2012...I have only 10 days to rebuild what I have been working on for 3 months!!!...is there any way to open a revit 2012 on 2014 or at least convert it to work on 2014.

Sep 5, 2013I have a drawing model where I cannot create a filled region in one sheet, but on other sheets in the same model I can. the filled region appears but does not mask anything - it is transparent. Transparency is set correctly (to zero) and I have tried bringing it to the front.

Jun 10, 2013Whenever I try to print sheets that contain shaded (or better) 3D views, these 3D views do not appear on my prints/Pdf's/DWFx's. I've tried different PDF-drivers and hardcopy printers that are in my office, but they all don't work.
Some things that maybe can narrow the cause down:
- Printing a single 3D view to a DWFx works
- Printing a single 3D view to PDF or hardcopy printer doesn't work
- Printing a Hidden Line view on sheets works on alle printers
- 2013; printing a sheet containing 3D views works. When upgrading the same project to 2014, the same sheet fails.

Revit :: 2014 Performance While Loading Family?
Feb 21, 2014I am looking for a way to boost the performance in Revit 2014 while loading or updating complex family’s. The problem at the moment seems to be that Revit 2014 only uses 1 cpu while loading family’s even if you have a high end multicore workstation at hand. So with hardware there is not much you can do.

A possible solution should be in virtualization, i.e. running Revit 2014 in a virtual machine with a single vCpu assigned on a vmware Esxi or Microsoft Hyper-v multi core host. I have tested this solution but ran into the problem that neither Esxi or Hyper-v distribute the load of the single Vcpu in the virtual machine over de multicore’s of the host.  1 Vcpu uses just one core of the host so no cpu performance advantage at all. The best practice of adding Vcpu’s to the virtual machine just lowers the performance of Revit in this case.
