View 9 RepliesI am a new photoshop user and wondered if you folk to tell me how this photo was edited.. it is a kind of effect I see used on 1000's of products and images all over the internet... it looks like it has been finely touched up but I am guessing/hoping it is a photoshop effect..

It posts photos that need work and anyone interested in trying their hand works to restore it and then reposts their version. The users then critique each poster's attempt.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just completed a project that involved four layers. this was my first attempt at layering and i must say it turned out real nice. After I finished I thought I would go back and do some retouching with the healing brush but I now get a message that "cannot use the healing brush because the target layer is hidden".
From now on I will do my correction and retouching before I add layers.
Anyway to use the healing brush or clone stamp now on the finished (layered) file???

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn a lot of my pictures, peoples skin shows a lot of blemishes, bumps, and surface scars. Whilst the patch and spot removal tool do help to some extent, it doesn't provide that clean, fresh, 'glow' that you see in, you guessed it, Celebrity photoshoots.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSomewhere out there is a crack PS CS user who can solve an irritating "nose" problem of a photo I shot nearly twenty years ago. It was one of those outtakes I held on to. Now, with the advent of PS I have taken another look at it. Trouble is, as you have already noticed, is that the model's nostrils are not equal in size. The right one is particularly disturbing. I am thinking a complete reshaping of the lower nose is in order. Trouble is, I have racked my brains trying to get the new look acceptable. My master copy is Tiff and 50MB size.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've done a bit of photo retouching on faces before: removing skin blemishes, changing eye colour, etc. I've only ever made subtle changes though; I saw a before and after of a photo retouch job on a model that went into a magazine (can't find the link now) and the difference was staggering! Does any one know of a tutorial or reference guide that takes you through the techniques? I know it's a huge topic but I know my way round Photoshop and I'm keen to know the techniques rather than a step-by-step guide.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to place an image into a new document in photoshop elements 12, I select all-copy-paste the image (or even drag it) over to the new doc created. However, when I do this - the image does not paste in at the same size. It typically shrinks down in size. Do I have to save the file, close out and then open the new doc and PLACE it in the document in order for it to keep size? There must be a better way to do this. Basically, how can I drag a photo that is 4x6 over to a new doc while keeping the size at 4x6.
