I've always opened files using File>open. I use the list view so that all filenames appear in alpha/numeric order regardless of the file extension(.psd, .jpg, ect). Sometime within the past week this has stopped working. The list now is ordered by the extension type - all .nef, all .psd, all .jpg, ect. Does anyone know how to get the original alpha/numeric order back? I can do it temporarily by choosing details, click on the filename column and then choosing list but this only works once. The next time I use File>open, it's back to ordered by extension type.
I have some blocks (different exit signs) in a drawing. I want to make a table or excel sheet that sums up the number of equal blocks in the drawing. How can i make this?
I have a number of sub headings within a main keyword and I wish to change the order. In Elements it was possible to click and hold on the sub heading and move it to the desired position. This does not seem to work in LR3.
I have all of our .pc3 files on a server, and have created them in the order I would like to see them, however they come in a random order. I have moved them out of the folder, and back in the order I want with no luck. I tried renaming them with numbers in front, and then with letters in front to try and populate the list in a certain order. I only have 16 .pc3 files and MAXSORT is default at 6000.
We are using page setups as well which are not a problem, but the occasional time we need to print to a specific .pc3 file gets annoying having to sort through the list to find the one we want.
how to get the corridor list in toolspace prospector tab to put the corridor list in alphabetical order? It seems to put them in order as you make them and will not use alphanumeric. See what mine is doing in the attached photo.
How the order of the list of Point File Formats is controlled?
We have a large list of formats predefined for doing coordinate transformations between various coordinate systems, but there does not seem to be any logical order to the list of formats.
I need to get the layout list in reverse order. How to do this? My plotter outputs prints face up and I wind up with a stack of drawings in reverse order - If I can cycle through the tabs in reverse order they will wind up in the correct order in the print room!
In PSE 11 in organizer I select a photo and hit order prints....then hit order shutterfly prints (I have acct) It shows preparing files but the Shutterfly order page does not open....just goes back to the selected photo.
When I open more than one drawing the second drawing that I open does not show (but is opened) I see the first drawing that was already open. If I open a third drawing, the same thing happens the first drawing shows ( but the second and third are both open).
Is this something to do with changing the Quick View Drawings Order?
My photoshop CS5 will not open either from the desktop or from the program list. I can open Bridge but when I then try to view a photo in photoshop I get a message that says Bridge has stopped working and will have to close down.
Just downloaded Photoshop CC with Photoshop CS6 still installed on my computer. Why working in Bridge I noticed that when right clicking on an image and then the "Open With" link, the only thing showing up is Photoshop CC. It would be nice if CS6 was an option as well. Is there any way to set it so that both are available?
Also, how do I install my Neat Image plug-in in Photoshop CC?
Here I have several concentric squares in an uninterrupted stack.I moved the topmost (small orange) one vertically.I then went to the Alignment panel, selected all the squares and clicked on the one I moved. Then I clicked on Vertical Distribute Center.
The right hand picture shows what happened. One of the squares (that big orange one) near the bottom of the stack shot up so that its centre was above the centre of the topmost one in the stack. The centres are evenly distributed but why is the stacking order not controlling the order in which the squares are arranged?
Fortunately the positioning of that big orange square was easy to correct, but something tells me this is not the way things are supposed to happen.Seemingly this does not always happen. I have tried the method on several stacks. Some were o.k., others showed similar behaviour to the above.
Is there a way to get a list of the currently open documents in VBA?
Right now to process a bunch of open drawings I simply process the active drawing and then close it, then repeat until all are closed. I'd like to be able to get a list of open documents and switch between them to process them all, which would leave them open.
I was trying to retrieve a list of the currently open drawings before running a batch script in VB .Net 2008 so that the program can check the selected file listto update against whats open already to make sure that the file isnt read only.
I have just bought Lightroom 5 and upgraded it to 5.3 and I still can't open raw files taken with my olympus E-M1 even though it is on the list of cameras that LR5 supports.
When I use File > Open or Place Component the Windows file browser opens in List mode which means that I have to use the horizontal scroll bar to browse the directory. I would like it to open in Detail mode [List and Detail are some of the view choices under the View Menu of the Windows file browser window] allowing me to browse with the vertical scroll bar. -- I think it's ergonomically eaisier.
I can make the change from the View Menu but it doesn't hold. I have checked to see that Windows 2000 is set for Details when using Windows Explorer.
Are there any settings in Inventor to force Detail mode?
I had resized the File>Open dialog in Inventor. I had resized it so that it was quite large so I realized pretty quickly when I opened another file, that the window size had rest to its original size.
What I found was that if I export a parts list to excel, then go to File>Open, for some reason the size of my file>open dialog is cleared.
I have a program that plots all blocks to png - open a dwg, get a list of all blocks, insert each into an empty dwg, zoom extents, and plot using the OOTB PublishToWeb PNG.pc3. In the attachments is an example of the problem. When I do this manually from a layout, I get the correct image. When I plot from code using the same PC3 file, draworder is being ignored.
It works if I apply transparency to the block and use ps.PlotTransparency = True, but I would prefer not to have to tell the user to change the block definitions. Is there a plotsettings property I am missing?
I use a setup with Shader List (Volume) with two mists. One regular and one to blur out the horizon. After working on the scene for some time I notice that the shader list now contains eight copies of the last shader. I think I would remember if I did that. So, whats up with the shader list?
