Just downloaded Photoshop CC with Photoshop CS6 still installed on my computer. Why working in Bridge I noticed that when right clicking on an image and then the "Open With" link, the only thing showing up is Photoshop CC. It would be nice if CS6 was an option as well. Is there any way to set it so that both are available?
Also, how do I install my Neat Image plug-in in Photoshop CC?
Whenever I try to open the Brushes panel, the Bridge window pops up. I know that Bridge is a media manager, so I'm not sure why is it opening. I really need to edit the brushes and I can't find a way to do it. Is there a way to disable bridge or another way to open the brushes panel that won't open bridge?

Is, for instance, Power Trace supposed to be there (in draw and photo, etc). The reason is that I cannot find it. It makes no difference if there is a document or not - it is simply not there, nor is it referred to anyplace on the page.

I would like to add a drop down list to a block.
Background: We use the same block (symbol) to represent several different part numbers, but would like to select from a drop down list the actual part number. For example, a beacon symbol is the same no matter what color the beacon, but i would like to be able to select a grip and choose red, green, blue, yellow, ect. I don't want it to do anything to the block, but rather just store the property that is set by the user.
Any examples on how to list all the layers of a current drawing and populate a ComboBox on a form with that list. It seems pretty simple, i'm just gonig through the .NET Developer guide now but was hoping there was a quicker solution.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have created a Textbox with autocomplete (suggest) in my UserControl that is put in an Autodesk.AutoCAD.Windows.PaletteSet. When I move my mouse over the dropdown list with the suggestions from autocomplete the list disappears. This makes it impossible to select a value from the list with the mouse. If I move the mouse cursor anywhere else in the usercontrol except over the dropdown list it stays open. How can this be fixed???
PS! I have added an event handler on textbox.focuslost and it is activated when I move the mouse over the dropdown list, so the textbox loses focus when this happens.
Is there a way I can write some code, so that in idw, I can choose from two different text for "Description" in BOM table? My work place requires to show material information when it's a fabrication drawing, to show part description in assembly drawing in "Description" column.
At the moment, we just override material information (for example, 40x40x3 RHS) to part description (RHS Spreader). It's not very safe to do that. Most of the times, we just forget to change it.

In the properties drop down list for wall type selection, most of the different wall type are not showing. Also my elevation carmera is not showing when i click on a new drawing. In a previous drawing all walls selection type is there and the elevation camera. Only when i start a new drawing when wall type and elevation camera is missing. I check the interface to make sure the boxes are check.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason the Processing options for RAW and CS5 are no longer available from Bridge. When I try to select those from my start up start-up page I get a msg. that they are not in the system.
I have tried to re-install CS5 but after doing so, no email is sent back from Adobe confirming the completion. My choice w/b to 'find' the RAW and CS5 processing options in that the plug-ins that I have added would still be there.
When I try to open bridge or mini bridge in CS5 I get a message saying that the program can't find the JavaScript plugin.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have PS CS6, Bridge 7, and Win 7. I recently installed a copy of PS Elements 10 which I had never used simply to work with a friend who was having difficulties with the program.
Now however, when I right-click on an image in Bridge the only option for "Open with" is Elements 10. How can I get back CS6 as an option? Or even the only option?
After a reinstall of 5.5 I noticed the secondary drop down menus open on the opposite side of the arrows.

I have always kept my pics in list form except whn using them. Now I only have the option of filmstrip thumbstrips data, and the icon also disapeared. I can't find where to get this option back. Surley I don't have to reload the program.
Is there a way in .net to add the layer description field (viewable in the Layer Properties Manager menu) to the layer dropdown list? Our designers want to see this information without opening the Layer Properties menu.

When I am in Bridge and I choose OPEN, then the picture is opened in the PS application that shows in the dock or in PS that may already be opened. If, however, I choose OPEN WITH and choose either Adobe Photoshop CS6 (default) or Adobe Photoshop CS6, a second Photoshop application appears in the dock and then opens.

So in the transfer maps box dialog when choosing what maps to output, the AO and Custom map option has disappeared from the list. All the other options are still there, normal, displace, etc. I defragmented my disk drive a while back ago but that can't be it, can it?

Is there any built in option for a symbol to have a pull down pick list of options? I know that you can make it have a prompted entry, but can you do a sim idea with a pick list?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI know this has been discussed a lot on the forums and I have read all of those, but I am frustrated after 3 weeks of working on this. I bouht my wife Photoshop CS6 for xmas and loaded on our iMac running 10.8.2. She was running Elements 8. CS6 Bridge will not open. Get a message "operation can not be completed". It will also not open from inside Photoshop either. Following other posts, went into Library and deleted switchboard folder, plist files, and other listed files. Did an option start on CS6 and reset to factory, delete thunbnails. Performed PRAM and disk permissions repair. None of this has fixed the problem. The only thing that works is creating a new user account. Bridge opens fine in my test account.

After2 hours 'Talking' to Adobe (remote) it was suggested I uninstall PS 6 and Bridge (after deregistering). I carried on working, then first thing this AM, I set about uninstalling, but... I thought I'd try Bridge CS6 first, wooo hoo it works, another BUT...

I installed Photoshop CS6 Upgrade (64bit and 32Bit) to my PC which ran CS5 Extended. When I deleted CS5, Bridge stopped opening files, whether I double clicked on the file or did Open with: I get the same error message.
Downloaded lightroom with no problem. When I try to download photoshop and bridge I get a message saying to close bridge which is not open. Tried shutting down and started over to no avail.
