I recently installed CS3 on my computer running XP and 50Gb of free space. The first day it worked fine, but since then when I try to open it I get the error saying the MSVC RT 10. DLL cannot be found, try reinstalling.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to convert all missing PlotStyles that are missing to one that is not missing.
I am working with the Style Manager and Display Manger. We use a custom .stb and in this custome .stb we have eliminated some of the standard PlotStyle Names such as Full Saturation, well as you may imagine some of the default materials, walls etc... under Style manager reference Full Saturation, right now I am going in by hand, one by one, changing this to AsDrawn.
Is there a way I can automate this for two purposes?
1.) so I don't have to do this all by hand
2.) as we "copy" elements from older jobs we can macro the change of plotstyle and so when we get drawings from outside we again can macro the plotstyle to AsDrawn.
OS X 10.4.11, ran FontNuke. Fonts are available for use in InDesign and Illustrator as well as the rest of the system. All fonts were available a few days ago, now missing fonts from 'Fe' - 'Z'. I have all of them from 'A' to 'Fe'. No font manager but Font Book. Need to update an ad for a client using the Helvetica font family.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just switch from CS3 to CS6 and I am missing some keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop CS6. I used to be able to toggle between a layer and it mask using (for PC) crtl ~Â Â Now, in Photoshop CS6, that shortcut switches me between the open windows. Ctrl still gets me onto the layer mask but no shortcut will take me from the layer mask back to the actual picture. I also can't even find the options in the shortcut menu to create a keyboard shortcut to toggleback from the layer mask.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've noticed that the Filters menu lacks many of the bundled CS5 filters e.g. the Filters | Artistic menu. By adding the CS5 Plugins directory as an Addition plugins folder in Preferences, they return, though some plugin is causing a VC++ Runtime error, but loading proceeds and the CS5 filters are present.

Is this by design? Are the remaining filters being delivered in an update, or have they been dropped?
Been having problems with CR for weeks tried uninstalling PS and re-installing as a last ditch solution. Now when I tried to access CR prefs I get a message saying Camera Raw is not installed.download link for CR.

I have been running into an issue whenever I try to open up Photo Shop CS5 on my Mac. While trying to open up a document, whether it be a brand new one or opening up a previous file, the canvas is missing.
On the side in my workspace all the layers and options are visible but there is no image to be found. I have searched online and found that holding: "command+option+shift" will reset the preferences and that usually does the trick. Problem is that after I quite out of PS and reopen it, I run into the same problem.
I am using Adobe CS6 Extended. When I click 3D, I can't move the object along the "Z" axis. When I move around I only have the X and Y axis. How do I get the Z axis back.

I recently launched Photoshop CS and received an error message that the NUVTwain.dll could not be found and that reinstalling the software might resolve the problem. I did, and it didn't. However, once I manage to get rid of the message I seem to be able to use Photoshop as normal.
Then I reinstalled my scanner software and drivers and received the same error message. When I try to scan, the message pops up again. And again when I get rid of the message I can scan a document into Photoshop.
I've somehow managed to hide the title bar (the very top bar) in PS CS4. Is there a keyboard shortcut to bring it back? This is on a PC.

To get it to finally load, I had to clear the prefreneces. Somehow in doing so, I now only have a few filters available to me: Blur, Noise, Sharpen, Stylize and Other. No matter what I try, these are the only ones available. Please do not respond with "RGB" or "8-bit".
The filters still will not work with those settings. anyone know of a place to download the original filters that I'm missing? I don't care so much about the other fancy-smancy plugins, I just want my original filters back!
I have been trying to install this software and once I get one dll file downloaded and put in systems32, restart PS CS4, I get another .dll error. Why doesn't PS CS4 come with all the necessary .dll files?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have installed CS4 Suite. I opened in photoshop some documents created in cs3. A client wanted a different font so I highlighted the text and selected the font window as I used to do in CS3 and previous versions and used the down arrow to toggle through the fonts when I got a ping and the fonts would not move to the next font in the list or go back.
Notes: the window was blank, and when I clicked on the pull down window I could see all the fonts I selected one and the font in the document changed.
So I up arrowed back to the font and the same thing happens.
It would appear that some fonts are not compatible with CS4?
I have about 30 or so fonts that will not work with any CS4 product, but all other software programs see and uses these fonts fine.

Alot of the layer functions (overlay, soft light, etc.) don't seem to be working at all, they have the faded gray font that wont allow me to click them. Also I can't save images as png's or jpegs. Alot of the filters are experiencing the same thing.
I accidently deleted some fonts that are required for a project that I'm working on. My question is, is there anywhere I can go within the document to be able to retieve the vital information? All I need is the name of the specific fonts I used. Also I use FontAgent Pro 4 and it says it has a type of auto activation of fonts needed. Will this work with cs4 when a document needs certain fonts required to kick in?Â
