here is a video that I went a bit crazy with the layers! There are probably 100 PSD's in this.....
I am in the middle of making a similar video, however do not want it looking exactly the same. However I do want it to be genuinely chilling!
Is there any advice for images or different ways of presenting them, for my next video? I am thinking skulls!
I have just started to try something using video in CS6. I have 82 sequential images and I am trying to string them together as a sort of stop motion film (think the intro to the Monkeys). I have done the following:
1. Opened Bridge and selected all of the images
2. From the tools menu I selected the Photoshop sub-menu and then selected load as separate layers in Photoshop.
3. This (unsurprisingly) opened the files as a single .psd with all the images on different layers - with the newest image being at the bottom.
4. I clicked on Timeline and then selected Create video timeline which put all of the clips into the same 5 second space on my time line.
5. I selected all of the images and then by clicking on the small filmstrip icon I selected "New Video group from clips"
So What I am left with is a sequence of all 82 images but with the following problems.
1. All of the clips are 5 seconds long and I want them to be about 1/10 of a second.
2. For some reason the files in the video clip show the most recent first and the oldest last - I would like them the other way round.
I know that I can select all of the clips and then move the play head to approx 1/10 of a second and split the clips. This works except I have to go through and manually delete the bits I don't want which is tedious enough for a video with 82 images but I am planning on longer projects, doing it manually would be a nightmare. Also I could probably re-order the images manually but I am sure that there must be an easier.
I'm using CS6 13.0.4 x64. I want to create a very basic slideshow that includes both still images and video clips. I have read this is possible but can find no specifics.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have our daughter's Nativity on my hard drive, and wanted to try some image screen capture so that our Playgroup can send a photo to our local newspaper. I have played the video, paused then performed a "Print Screen." I have then pasted that paused image into Xara PGDv7. But seem unable to resize the pasted image. If I try to resize the image, the resizing window just concentrated upon a portion of the pasted image. I thought this would have been straight forward, but it doesn't seem to have worked. Playgroup asked whether I could do this asap.

MY Camera produces MP-4 photos I download them as such do I have to change or convert them? I tried to convert some to wmv but that did not work . I get a message that windows photo viewer may not be working and could need an update if that is needed where would I get that? I need to know what has to be done . I need to export video frames to images, jpeg for example, I use "Edit / Take a snapshot" from VideoStudio Pro X4 menu, but this option only exports 1024 x 576 resolution images....Can I export 1920 x 1080 resolution images?
I'm trying to make a short video using images I draw on Paint.net. To make sure everything is consistent I adjusted the canvas size and I find I have to do this every time I open a new project. While I have no issue with resizing it again, I find it a bit annoying. How to preset the size of the canvas?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI run a film lab and I digitally scan 8mm film a frame at a time to TIFF/ BMP/ JPEG... etc. I've switched to PC and CC in the last month and I'm wontering how to make video files out of these still image sequences in any application in CC. I'm guessing my best bet is Premiere Pro or media ecoder?
On my mac I used to use Quick Time which was very simple and easy to do but before spending money to get the full version of QT on my PC I wondered if there was anyway I can do it in CC?
I want to export a series of images from a video, but only, say, one frame every three or four seconds. One out of every 90 to 120 frames of the video. Can this be done in AE, or do I need to do this in another CC program?

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is a new fault which has appeared with Corel Pro x3. When I play clips on the overlay tracks as a project they play faultlessly. When I play them as a clip on any overlay track, there is no sound and it stutters instead of one constant speed. I have installed the program twice now trying to fix this problem. I am editing in Standard Definition. What could be causing this problem? This occurs with all files on the overlay tracks played in clip mode.

I just started using the trail version of the VideoStudio Pro software today. I am trying to modify a .avi video file. The movie "clips" play fine, but whenever I play the project, there seems to be compression of the video or something- it the video just becomes unclear and fuzzy. It is not sharp. I'm not sure if it's because it's too big or if I have the wrong settings.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using Lightroom 5 also to color grade some of my short videos as it seems to be pretty handy. Unfortunately, for some videos the export fails with the error that the hard drive does not contain rendered images. The screenshot below shows the error message in German.
As I was using the same options for many other videos before, I was wondering what causes this error. The hard drive where I have the lightroom catelog is an external USB3 hdd with lots of space left.
Video will not play properly [audio plays well video hangs ] in Adobe Photoshop CS6 running on a Win7-64 machine equipment with a quad-core processor. Video plays properly in Lightroom 4 and Bridge CS6.

PROBLEM:
I have a number of videos (HD 1080p) that I have recorded. Each video is on average 50 minutes in length - what I want to do it to be able to do is to slice this video into 10 x 5 minute videos (based on topics discussed in the video), (so essentially clip the video into these segments and edit each one) and then when producing the video file - actually create 10 separate video files (all with editing in place) instead of one single large file.
As far as I have been able to work out, I need to go through the whole file, clip relevant sections, edit them, and then save project. I then need to go trim the saved file 10 times, to extract each time the single 5 minute video I want to create. This is a fairly manual and time consuming process, hence my hope that I can create 10 files based on the clips I have made in the larger 50 minute file in one go.

I am trying to "erase" extra video and show only 1 of the moving objects in the video .on an athletic field we are trying to show only the movements of 1 player...is it possible to "delete all of the other players movements and just show one player and then overlay that video on the empty field?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have started a new video project with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 in Photoshop CS6with a pixel aspect ratio set to square.. In the project I add a video to the timeline. The source video was created in QuickTime and exported at a 1920 x 1080 resolution MOV file. I have check both the source clip at the canvas siye and have confirmed that both are 1920 x 1080. However, when I import the video it takes up less than the entire frame. It appears that the video is being scaled down so that there is some white space to the right and below the video clip. See the image below.
In the past I have been able to import 1920x1080 video to a 1920x1080 project without a problem. I have 4 or 5 examples that have worked well.
Is there any way to push the video in the video track after the title track is completed ....

View 1 Replies View RelatedA long time ago, when I was using Photoshop Elelments I found a plug-in that made it possible to work with stacks as a unit.
If I labeled the top image in the stack that lable was applied to all the images in the stack; then I could sort the the image on top and all the images in the stack would stay together, or if I deleted an image in the stack all the images in the stack were deleted. Without it I have open each stack I lable and apply the lable, so when I sort the stacked images they stay together.
I need to convert color images of vehicles to monotone images. When done correctly they will look like the car has been primed in preparation for painting.
Conversion to gray scale does not do the trick.
I'm making a collage containing 4 images with different resolution. I want each image to have faded edges (to white) and I'm using gradient tool to accomplish this. The problem is that since the images have different resolution the gradient tool gives different result on each image even though I make the same "swipe". Is there another way of accomplishing these faded edges, equally looking and of the same size? The faded edges (to white) will, as you might have understood already, constitute the limit between the four pictures, that is, a white cross.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHi, I am starting a new business making art prints for artists. I have purchased this huge printer ... just got it. I've been studying photoshop for months using "classroom in a book" and am finding out that I've probably studied the wrong thing.
I have three questions and thanks in advance for any of your expertise.
1. I successfully printed out a two foot by two foot photo I took of my husband with my 8.2 megapixel camera. Then, tried to print out another photo.... used the same photoshop settings, but the print was 6 inches by 6 inches...... I did notice that the second print was only 16. %... I wondered if that caused the difference in size? How do I set that to 100 % if that is what is needed?
2. I want to print out multiple small prints using this big paper and printer... I want to tile these various prints (all different) along the top making rows... I want them to be all different. I called Epson support and they said I could do that in photoshop. Do I use the browser?
3. I have a wide format scanner. It does up to 11 x 17 inches. If I have something larger to scan, let's say, I scan the bottom of the image and then scan the top of the image, how do I put them together?
