I made a 3D coin object in photoshop CS5.1 then I want to import it into flash CS5.5. how? I did export the 3D object for every single format, but the flash is not recognise the format. And I also did save as every different format, but was not a 3D object.

Have you ever tried to import an object from photoshop into illustrator? I imported an object I edited with Quick mask in Photoshop and now after i moved it into illustrator the object has a white background around it and i'm trying to get rid of it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have created many different objects in Photoshop and placed them exactly where I want them. I do now however need a stroke, and the stroke in photoshop is rounded, and I need a stroke with sharp corners.
Therefor I need to import all of the images together into Illustrator and give them a stroke. The only problem is that when I import the images all of them get created into one object with a white background, and when I apply a stroke, it applies it to the rectangle surrounding all the objects. How can I fix this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen importing .svg files into draw and illustrator the size of the objects is different. The svg files have been created with a dpi=72. Illustrator reads the file at that dpi so objects are the correct size. Draw appears to read the files with a dpi=96 which scales the objects down to 3/4 actual size.
Any SVG attribute that can set the dpi so that both programs import correctly Or is there a way to tell Draw to use a dpi=72?
I have a user that imported linework and text from shp files. the map came together but when you try to modify any text it vanishes and a regen does not bring it back. However, it exisit in the file; a qselect all text shows in the props palette but no grips show.
I cleared the map cache but it does not work.

My AE cs6 version is 11.0.2.12, it imports obj file well and I can drag the obj footage to the timeline,since I last did this in June using a form effects.But yesterday when I importing the obj file from the project panel,it warns me with the pop-up window.How can I deal with it?I have uninstall and install for many times,however it doesn't work.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAs the heading says - my Map 3d 2011 rearranges object data fields upon import. If I open the coverage in ArcMAP they are in one order (the correct order), and importing to Map mixes that order up. I have around 125 object data fields for each of 2700 objects. Even if the capability existed in Map, rearranging back to the proper order "by hand" is not an option. Is there a setting or something I overlooked that will tell Map to import the data fields in the same order that they are in before the import?

I have centerline data from SHP file that I can either import or attach to. Has a few lines of object data with it including a centerline of road name. Each one unique. When I attach to the data, I can then "join" with it additional data from a database. When I select a line and look at the properties, it contains both the original object data AND the additional data from the database. SO far So good.
When I edit the style and try to add feature labels only part of the labels come in. I end up with a lot of them with only the letters "text" or just not there. If I right-click on the line and select "Show Data Table" I can confirm that there is data for that label. I find nothing in common with the map features that have labels, or don't have labels. Kind of random.
Question: If I import the SHP file and create object data I need to know if there is a way to "ADD" the rest of my data that is in the database to this object data. If so then I think I could define a Template and label each piece with the block with attributes. Is this possible? OR
Is it possible for me to export to a new SHP file after I have connected to the data (both shp file and database).
I am looking for a way to import a sequence of images that represent an object spinning. I'd like to be able to import these onto the timeline and have it play thru the images by turning them on/off at the correct time. I basically want to do the same way that you can do in Flash when importing an image sequence.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI was looking through some of my old folders this morning and stumbled across a pic I had to tinker with early last year for a magazine I was putting together.
as can be seen in the picture, there is a big patch of light (I assume from a flash or other light) right in the middle of the back ground, which looks terrible.
Also, the rest of the pic could do with a bit of lightening as it's too dark.
How would you go about editing this image to remove the patch of light?
I tried 2 techniques, firstly I used the burn tool to darken the patch of lightto match the rest of the pic.
The second approach I tried was to duplicate the layer. On the new layer I darkened the image so the patch was as dark as the rest of the poster in the first layer. Then I applied a layer mask and made only the newly darkened patch visible over the original pic to give an evenly lit poster.
Just upgraded to CS3 and there's no more Flash Export - Just this Zoomify thing, which I'm not sure I trust (keeps wanting to contact the Zoomify Website) and I don't have the time to relearn.
Basically, I want my old "Export to Flash" from Imageready. Is that hidden somewhere.
This Zoomify stuff isn't impressing me - does a great demo but I put little flash headers on many of my sites and don't want to complicate things.

I've been tasked with the creation of some flash-type banners for an intranet site. The idea is to have an image with text that expands across the top of the website and fades out into another image with additional text.
I'm just wondering if it's possible to create this kind of thing in Photoshop? My first thought is that I would need flash but unfortunately, I'm not sure that I'm going to get the go ahead for that product. I have however been able to order Photoshop and have CS6 on the way to me...so just wondered if I can plan whether I need to try harder to get the resource to buy Flash professional?
Is photoshop cs5 compatible with flash professional cs6? I don't want to purchase the new flash professional cs6 if it will not work with photoshop cs5.

View 3 Replies View Relatedyeah, sort of left my flash on my camera, and as i was taking photos of the fireworks however (not so) riveting they were, and i didn't realise i had it on, and the flash reflected from my window pane and into the photo and sort of ruined every shot i had.
i was just wondering is there any way of fixing such a flash intrusion. the firework is visible through the over exposure but only slightly at best. or should i save the fuss and wait til next year?

have an issue with the oil filter when trying to use it. I have been using the filter with out any problems at all up untill now.Today when I try to open it, all it does is flash up for a second and then close. It doesn't give me any error messages it just flickers and closes.
Photoshop doesn't crash, the other filters all work. Also I noticed in the filter drop down menu that the oil painting doesn't have a shortcut next to it like the others, and I cannot remember if it had one before or is suppossed to have one.
I've made quite a few layouts in Photoshop CS and feel like adding flash effects to some of them. Each layout has a sort of "banner" on the top (like the polar bear scene in my example), that displays an image (or group of images) that set the theme of the site.
How do I take the layout "banners" I have now and convert them into Flash documents, with all layers nicely converted and eveything?
An example is this: I'd like to make those snow flakes fall (or move, for starters)... how can I begin?
