Photoshop :: Don't Like Zoomify - Want My Flash...
Oct 29, 2008
Just upgraded to CS3 and there's no more Flash Export - Just this Zoomify thing, which I'm not sure I trust (keeps wanting to contact the Zoomify Website) and I don't have the time to relearn.
Basically, I want my old "Export to Flash" from Imageready. Is that hidden somewhere.
This Zoomify stuff isn't impressing me - does a great demo but I put little flash headers on many of my sites and don't want to complicate things.
I am currently building a website in Flash 8. I have been creating most of the graphics with photoshop CS2. I have recently run into a problem with transferring the photoshop work over to flash. I used to just drag a .psd right onto the stage in flash and it came in perfectly. Now all of a sudden flash does not recognize the file type.
i have selected circle and filled the circle with some color. now i want to have border around the circle so i have selected stroke from the edit menu and applied with one pixel. how ever it is not giving a solid look as in flash. in photoshop the border looks like dissolved and transparent. is there a way to get the same look as flash?
I was looking through some of my old folders this morning and stumbled across a pic I had to tinker with early last year for a magazine I was putting together.
as can be seen in the picture, there is a big patch of light (I assume from a flash or other light) right in the middle of the back ground, which looks terrible.
Also, the rest of the pic could do with a bit of lightening as it's too dark.
How would you go about editing this image to remove the patch of light?
I tried 2 techniques, firstly I used the burn tool to darken the patch of lightto match the rest of the pic.
The second approach I tried was to duplicate the layer. On the new layer I darkened the image so the patch was as dark as the rest of the poster in the first layer. Then I applied a layer mask and made only the newly darkened patch visible over the original pic to give an evenly lit poster.
I want to create flash image like when you go to page that one image comes from background like a flash and should stop flashing once come to front. How i can create? I don't have macromedia software. I have only adobe photoshop.
I've been tasked with the creation of some flash-type banners for an intranet site. The idea is to have an image with text that expands across the top of the website and fades out into another image with additional text. Â I'm just wondering if it's possible to create this kind of thing in Photoshop? My first thought is that I would need flash but unfortunately, I'm not sure that I'm going to get the go ahead for that product. I have however been able to order Photoshop and have CS6 on the way to me...so just wondered if I can plan whether I need to try harder to get the resource to buy Flash professional?
Is photoshop cs5 compatible with flash professional cs6? I don't want to purchase the new flash professional cs6 if it will not work with photoshop cs5.
I made a 3D coin object in photoshop CS5.1 then I want to import it into flash CS5.5. how? I did export the 3D object for every single format, but the flash is not recognise the format. And I also did save as every different format, but was not a 3D object.
yeah, sort of left my flash on my camera, and as i was taking photos of the fireworks however (not so) riveting they were, and i didn't realise i had it on, and the flash reflected from my window pane and into the photo and sort of ruined every shot i had.
i was just wondering is there any way of fixing such a flash intrusion. the firework is visible through the over exposure but only slightly at best. or should i save the fuss and wait til next year?
i would not like it to be done for me as i prefer to learn how to do it by following people's guide not by having them do it for me as an "example" no digs or anything just saying.
have an issue with the oil filter when trying to use it. I have been using the filter with out any problems at all up untill now.Today when I try to open it, all it does is flash up for a second and then close. It doesn't give me any error messages it just flickers and closes. Â Photoshop doesn't crash, the other filters all work. Also I noticed in the filter drop down menu that the oil painting doesn't have a shortcut next to it like the others, and I cannot remember if it had one before or is suppossed to have one.
I've made quite a few layouts in Photoshop CS and feel like adding flash effects to some of them. Each layout has a sort of "banner" on the top (like the polar bear scene in my example), that displays an image (or group of images) that set the theme of the site.
How do I take the layout "banners" I have now and convert them into Flash documents, with all layers nicely converted and eveything?
An example is this: I'd like to make those snow flakes fall (or move, for starters)... how can I begin?
Is there a way to control the transitions from one image to the next when generating a flash web gallery? I'm using CS4/Bridge on WinXP. The fade out/in from one image to the next is very chunky, no matter what the file size. And that's on my local copy before I've uploaded it to the web. I also haven't found a way to generate web galleries from within CS4 itself (looked at file/automate, as well as window/output, but nothing obvious in either location).
I am trying to import transparent gifs into a Flash 5 Movie, but they are coming in with jagged edges and a 1 pixel white outline..
I tried "save for web" gif and also "save as" png, the png file comes in cleaner around the edges but looks distorted when I test the movie. am I exporting them out of photoshop the wrong way... can anyone tell me the best way to import these files?
What software can I use to build Flash without Adobe Flash? I can't afford $500+ for the Adobe Software and wonder if there are freeware / shareware available for doing flash sites?
I've used Firefox to save a series of images pulled from an Adobe Flash slideshow on Flickr. Does Photoshop have the ability to convert these files to .jpg? Would it be as easy as doing a "File...Save As", or will I need to incorpotate another program? I have the Master Collection, if any of those would be required.
I saw a websit with a menu, first i thinked it was a simple javascript menu, but later i saw it was done using flash. The exporting of the mage got perfect,do not seem pixelizated or contrasting. I would like to know what kind of format the image was exported into flash.
I have created a banner for a website in Photoshop. On the right side of the banner I want to have a flash file I created with transitioning imaging. I also use Dreamweaver but the banner is such that I cannot add it together in dreamweaver , or at least I haven't figured out how.  The best way I would like to do it is in Photoshop but will the Photoshop image allow the swf file to play?  I tried to create a gif in Photoshop but that doesn't play like I would like. I am only using three images 330 px by 248 px so it isn't huge.Â
It only happens after Photoshop CS6 (fully updated i Mac and CS6 - see below image for specs) has been running for awhile. The screen, in dark areas of the display, will have screen flicker like stars twinkling on a night sky. Then the display will completely go black and then back on about every 5 seconds. The only way I can make it stop is to power the i Mac off and then start it back up. Then it's fine until the next time I start Photoshop.
It doesn't do it immediately when Photoshop starts. It's usually about 30 - 60 minutes after I've started it. Also if I open Photoshop and use it and then shut it down I don't have any issues...only after it has been running for a while.
I shoot raw/jpg. I viewed in Digital Photo professional and transferred a Tiff to photoshop. I saved the image on a seperate disc. when I opened and tried to save again I received an error saying I didn'thave permission. I finally saved the psd version by changing the name of the picture. when I went back to the raw file on my flash card it was gone. when I went back to the tiff file that was gone to. the only file I have left is the jpg back up and the psd version. All the other pictures are still on both the flash card and my backup drive except this one. I've done recovery searches and they recover everything i've deleted from the flash card except the file I need. I don't understand why this happend. I've tried searching for hidden files etc. I didn't delete this file. the recovery program shows that it is there it just won't get it. it gets everything else but not this one. both the raw and the tiff files disappeared from two different drives. I want to get the raw file back.Â
I have tried all of the getURL() stuff but it doesnt work how can i link to other pages eg /Chassis heres my actonscript so far Code: butt1.onRollOver = over; butt1.onRollOut = out; butt1.text.buttonText.text = "Chassis ";
I have been playing around with the clone stamp, but I can't get a look I like. We are trying to have this photo printed to be framed (just 3x5) so does not have to be perfect, but I would like to get the flash reflection out of here....
