View 2 RepliesZooming the timeline by the shortcuts (keystrokes '+' / '-') don't work if you mark a clip or a title in the timeline and the library view changes by the new marking.
Example 1:
Select in the library panel the effect or title view. Mark a clip and the library panel changes to clip view.
Now the shortcut for zooming "keystroke +" or "Keystroke -" don't work.
Now mark another clip in the timeline where the library view don't change, the shortcuts work.
Example 2:
Mark a clip first and then mark a title in the timeline. Because the library view changed shortcut for zoom don't work.
Mark another title. Now the library view don't change and the shortcut work again.
what setting(s) to change so I can view the pixel dimensions I'm selecting while cropping? I've been searching online, and looking around in the settings and cannot find how to do this. I really think this should be a default setting.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a diagram scanned in one pixel mode (b&w). I want to change the line color from black to blue.
I tried this:
In the toolbox I altered the foreground color to blue. In the 'Select' menu I used the 'By color' option. I made sure the settings in the toolbox for 'Select by color' were set at default, then I clicked on a black pixel in the image. The black lines in the image became outlined with a dotted line. I then used the 'Fill with FG color' option from the edit menu. The sample color to the left of the menu item was blue. The image briefly 'repainted'. I removed the selection using 'Select' 'None' but the image lines remain black.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI can't seem where or how to fix this. I'm on the latest verion of Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 7, and for some reason, when I go to create a shape, everything is in inches instead of pixels. It won't let me just type in pixels, it just reverts back to inches and won't change the shape. I am pulling my hair out trying to find the setting or preference. where I can change the settings so that things are always in pixels and not inches?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have an image with an transparent background. I want to change all pixels that are not the background to one color. How do I do this? I can't select the pixels, they as arbitrariliy distibuted. I've played with threshold, but that's not working either. I tried Image-->Mode -> Indexed and then Use black and white palette, but that doesn't work either. I thought i would convert all non-transparent values to black, but instead its picking some threshold and making some black and others transparent. Example file attached.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIf I am constantly making frames in photoshop for use in the video world (ie. They will be on TV) the pixels need to be rectangular (or 4x3) in aspect and not square.
I know in programs like After Effects and Combustion you can set when saving an image whether or not it is square or rectangular pixels.
How do I do this in Photoshop if it can be done?
I have just begun using Illustrator CS6. I have a very simple image (.png file) that I would like to annotate with some arrows and some text. This file is what I guess you would consider a raster image (no vector graphics) that has a very limited color range. It has less than ten basic colors plus a gradient fill (shades of gray) in a few places.
I want to use illustrator to annotate this image with some lines with arrows and some text, but first, there are a few stray lines that I would like to eliminate. For example, there is a black line that I would like to "erase" by replacing all the black pixels in this line with white pixels. I tried to do this by selecting the "Paint Brush" tool and then selecting white as both my fill and my stroke color. After doing this, I position the cursor over the pixels I want to change but the cursor appears as a circle with a line through it, and it doesn't do anything.
The loupe view on the second screen used to display information about the photo. I double clicked on it and it disappeared and no matter what I do I can't seem to get it back.
On the primary screen this can be added/removed or changed in Library Module by selecting the menu view->view options... which gets you to a settings window where you can set what shows. However, I cannot seem to find a similar thing for the second monitor.
Every time I open Xara I have to change the default settings under "Utilities", "Options", "Units" from inches to pixels. There are other default settings I'd like to change as well, but my question is how do I change those settings to default so that when I open Xara, I don't have to go reset them? This is a PITA! I have searched through the help files and don't see any info on changing the standard default settings!
