Photoshop :: Grab A Part Of A Picture And Drag It Around
Sep 19, 2006
there is a brush or something similar that allows you to grab a part of a picture and kinda drag it around. not cut and move it, actually distort it and such.
there is also maybe the same one that allows you just to click and sort of inflate/deflate part of the pic.
i KNOW one of you out there has to know what im talking about!!! it kinda stretches the part of the image so that you can make things look distorted or whatever. almost like if you grabbed your cheeks and pulled!
Why is it when i drag one image from the bottom panel over to another picture(solid color) i will only get 50% of the image and not the full image. Same thing when i copy and paste that image over the gray solid colored image also i will get only 50% of the image. The original image of the cat(full view) is about 24.79% and picture is 11.733 x 15.644 in size. the other image (solid color) is at 43.63% or 6.667 x 8.889". size is in inches. Do i have to resize the images and if so how as i am a stupie in this matter. The images are aligned side by side on the main panel or display.I am trying to place the cat over the gray background image and with a layer mask delete the present baackground of the cat to uncover the gray of the bottom layer.
I have a jpg image that has an area of the image blocked with a white box where you cannot see the pixels beneath it, however in a thumbnail of the picture, in a regular windows folder, the white box is gone and you can see the entire picture and no white box.
I have tried everthing that I can think of in PS, but can't seem to find anyway to remove the white box to see all of the pixels.
I have CS3 on a PC and need to recolour a portion of a picture so that part of the picture is coloured in a Pantone colour and not the red as it is now. I have tried using Hue and Saturation and colour balance, but unable to make just my selection a Pantone colour.
I was wondering how could we resize, like decrease the breadth or length etc. of let's say one person in a picture of two?
let me elaborate my question, let's say there are two people in the pic, one of them is really broad or tall and i just want to resize him/her to be less broad or tall, how can i do that?
I want to put a person as a logo in a white background. I have the person in a picture which has other things that I don't need. I only want to extract the person from the picture and being able to resize it and use it as a small logo in a background.
I have got a picture of beautiful woman. And? How to make a part of picture in greyscale? For exemple - arm. I selected this part and clicked on greyscale. And? The whole picture is in greyscale. Wh? I tried make a quickmask but the greyscale mode is not active.
I'm new to photoshop cs2 but i have played with alot of video editor programs so i can catch on quick.
anyway im really into photgraphing cars. i just started photoshop and i found i can really do alot to the cars with this program.
my question is i have a car that is in the sun at an angle and the windows are tinted but the angle you can see in a little.. how can i outline the window and darken it so it looks more tinted?
I want to use this pic for my phone wallpaper. I tried to enlarge it but the quality drops really bad. It needs to be 960x800. Is it possible to extend the top part of the picture to make it more "square" without cropping the width?
C3D 2012 running with 64 bit Win7 all up to date on a capable Dell Precision
I want to add the leader part to the leader that is created when I drag a Station Offset label. This would be the part in a three point leader that goes horizontal for a short distance before the label text begins, similar to how a multi-leader is created. Looks weird having the C3D labels be the only "leadered" noted be without the landing.
I have an icon and it's a circle with the outer areas deleted (transparent). I need to select only the image area (the circle) and copy it so I can add it with a paste as a layer over another image.
I really looking for a solution how can I change the color of a part of a picture. In my case it's a pharmacy sign (see attachment). I want to change the color of the white Part (snake&scale) into a sort of brown (#bcb29d).The green cross I want to change into red.
I only managed (not even that perfectly) with hue. But I cannot choose exactly the colors I want. I manage with the color/select tool to select the region I want to change but then.I don't know how to move on.
I have a background with a pattern overlay effect on it. I need to send my web developer a block of this pattern in jpg format so that he can translate it into a repeating pattern in the background of the site.
It seems that there must be an easy way to do this that I'm not getting. All I can think to do is to select a part of it on the screen and copy, but since it's already set up as a seamless pattern, I don't know where its "edges" are.
for the last few months out of no where photoshop all of a sudden stoped letting me grab the corners of my selections. it realy limits what i can do an d i would really love to kno how to fix it,
In my Adobe Premire Pro CS6 project, When I select a clip that I want to drag down into the editing section it only allows me to drag the video and NOT the audio. I need both video and audio and it wont let me, I don't think I clicked anything wrong but
I'm looking for a plugin that will allow me to capture a single frame into Photoshop from a video feed from a device using WDM or VFW (Video For Windows) drivers. I have a video device that is using WDM or VFW drivers, but no TWAIN or WIA driver is available for my device.
I need to be able to capture a frame into Photoshop from my video-input device which is using a WDM or VFW driver. I'm hoping if one does exist, it is compatible with Photoshop CS1, because I'm using that older version of Photoshop, and don't plan on upgrading yet (it seems to do almost anything I'd ever need a graphics program to do). I'm not even sure such an input plugin exists, but if it does
When you purchase a template for a website, it often comes with the original photoshop document.
Is there a command in photoshop that takes what they've done and saves it all as the individual images that are usually included?
I have a template and I swapped out one image in the file, but I can't get it perfect by simply replacing the final image. I have the photoshop file with all the slices and whatever people do with templates, but I can't seem how to get it to save all the separate images again so I can grab the one that I need.
I run MacOS 10.9, Lightroom 5.3 and I print on an Epson R3000.
The first problem I had was that the images was printed on just a small part of the paper and it cut the images. I have attached a picture showing this. I totally reinstalled my computer and now it looks like that problem is gone (for now at least). But now the images are printed but much smaller than the paper I specify. If I specify A3+ I get something close to A4. Borderless printing on 6*4 looks to be working as it should but that's the only I managed to print so far.
I tested printing from Photoshop 5.1 and that worked fine.
I was wondering if there's a way to apply local changes to a picture by including the part I need to be changed in a square (like when you crop it). Without using the graduated filter.
CS 5.5. Just restarted Photoshop and still the same problem. I should be able to hold down the space bar and grab the screen to drag it around. Not working anymore.
I've been able to in the past use the eyedropper tool to grab colors from browser windows and get the exact coded color if it's a css color. I'm using Photoshop cs5 on a mac with snow leopard. When I try to get any color from a browser window (both safari and firefox) photoshop will shift the color slightly.
I can't grab more than one object at once. I'm also not seeing the bounding boxes around the objects. I must've pressed something that disabled me from being able to grab multiple objects.
Working on a book cover but it seems that once something is down and saved - like my title - I can't just go back and tweak it with resizing and moving. How to simply rearrange the layout?
