Photoshop Elements :: Drag One Image From The Bottom Panel Over To Another Picture
Jan 6, 2013Why is it when i drag one image from the bottom panel over to another picture(solid color) i will only get 50% of the image and not the full image. Same thing when i copy and paste that image over the gray solid colored image also i will get only 50% of the image. The original image of the cat(full view) is about 24.79% and picture is 11.733 x 15.644 in size. the other image (solid color) is at 43.63% or 6.667 x 8.889". size is in inches. Do i have to resize the images and if so how as i am a stupie in this matter. The images are aligned side by side on the main panel or display.I am trying to place the cat over the gray background image and with a layer mask delete the present baackground of the cat to uncover the gray of the bottom layer.

Sep 19, 2006there is a brush or something similar that allows you to grab a part of a picture and kinda drag it around. not cut and move it, actually distort it and such.
there is also maybe the same one that allows you just to click and sort of inflate/deflate part of the pic.
i KNOW one of you out there has to know what im talking about!!! it kinda stretches the part of the image so that you can make things look distorted or whatever. almost like if you grabbed your cheeks and pulled!
Photoshop Elements :: Customize Place Names In 11?
Dec 26, 2012I would like to customize the names of Places as I assign them. For instance, I know that this set of pictures was take at the House on the Rock in Wisconsin. Under the "Places" tab, it's listed as 5754 State Road 23 in Spring Green Wisconsin. I'll never remember that this is the ADDDRESS for the House on the Rock, so I want to change the listing to something that will make sense to me as I use the column search function (something logical like: "House on the Rock, Spring Green, Wisconsin")
Is it possible to edit the Place tags?

Dec 9, 2013I have a Canon PRO-10 printer. I made the custom size change to 11 x 14 in the driver's printer properties, but it does not show up as a choice when I open the dropdown in PSE 11. Is there no way to use custom size paper in PSE 11? What am I doing wrong?

Just to be clear, all I want to do is place a photo which sometimes randomly gets misplaced into its correct site, e.g 1550 suddenly found next to 1405.) I have a very simple question, for which I can find NO answer: since I upgraded my Mac OS to Lion, I can no longer grab an image -- or, most importantly, several images from several locations on my several drives -- then drag and drop them on the PS Elements 10 icon in my Dock, or on the PS Elements 10 icon in my Applications folder, and have PS Elements 10 automatically boot open, and load these images into the Editor workspace. I try it, and PS Elements 10 just sits there and refuses to open. I could do this in Snow Leopard, and I can do this in Lion with EVERY other app I have (providing I'm dragging and dropping files that the apps recognize). In 10 I used to drag People tags onto autodetected faces which would server to add the tag as well label the mark of the face (2 birds with one stone). In 11 when I attempt to drag and drop a People tag onto a marked face, the square and the "Who is this" disapears. The only way I can find to actually mark the face is by actually typing the name for each person. Definitely a more painful way of doing it versus drag and drop. Did Adobe drop this feature or is this a bug I can expect to be fixed in an upcoming update? Or is this problem that is just local to my machine?

I create a large blank document (3600x3600 pixels, scrapbook size) and then drag other items onto it to create new layers.
In PSE10, the items I dragged in kept their original size. In PSE 12, they get resized to match the size of the document I'm dragging them on to.Is there a setting I need to change? Can't find it.

I am trying to drag the entire 4x5 image (it's composed of several layers) onto the 11x17 page and keep it the same size. However, when I drag and drop, the 4x5 image is enlarged to fill the full width of the 11x17 page. This happens even if I hit shift. I recently upgraded from PSE10 where I did this regularly and can't figure out how to do it in PSE12. I have an iMac with OS 10.8.5.
