View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from a machine using OS 10.6 (I believe) to a new iMac with 10.8. I was running Photoshop CS4 on the old machine and it transferred over to the new machine via setup assistant with everything else on my hard drive.
I did deactivate CS4 on the old machine, but now when I try and start up CS4 I get the 150:30 licensing error.
I've tried everything in this document except reinstalling (I really don't want to lose all my actions, etc.) and the License Repair tool because my system wont let me run it. URL....I called Adobe Support and they sent me here.
I know CS4 is on the old side, but it suits my needs for now and how can I upgrade if I cannot even open the application on my machine?
I've instslled CS4 but keep giving me error message ' licensing for this product has stopped working' Error 150:30

when I load PS7 I get an error message "ExtendScript.dll failed to load", but when I click OK the program loads normally anyway. I realise that un/reinstalling may solve whatever the problem is but that means going through a whole rigmarole of reinstalling plugins, brushes, gradients etc

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have VideoStudio Pro X5 ultimate. Build # 15.1.0.34 I have upgraded my operating system from Windows 7 to windows 8. On windows 7, Screen Capture worked just fine. On windows 8 it does not operate. I get a message as follows: “VSSCap. Prepare Record Failed!!! #42” How can I get Screen Capture to work on my Windows 8 system? All other functions of VideoStudio Pro X5 seem to work OK. I tried to submit a question to Corel as to what this Error code means and how to correct the problem but they say "NO TECKS AVAILABLE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION" And just log me out?
What "Prepare Record Failed!!! #42" means and or how to correct it? It seems to me that if Corel gives you an error message then they should support that error but they do not! Why don't they? They say that Windows 8 and VideoStudio Pro X5 Ultimate are completely compatible then why am I getting this message. Corel really should support it's message errors and not let its customers struggle for an answer? I love VideoStudio Pro X5 Ultimate and try as I may I cannot solve this problem.
I had to rebot my computer the other day then had put back CS3 on to my computer.When CS3 starts to install its self it comes up with:-

Photoshop Elements 9 organizer...when I try to "save as" a .jpg file from editor to the organizer, I keep getting an error "Import Failed" file not supported or file already in organizer...been using this software for a long time..just started to happen...now it says this everytime I try to save anything..it will not let me put it in the organizer at all. View 3 Replies View RelatedI am getting an error about 10 times each time I open Photoshop. It says "The application has failed to start because MSVCRT10.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem".
This does nothing besides lag up Photoshop for me. I have most of my ram towards Photoshop and it still lags like crazy. I was wondering if there WAS any way to fix it besides re-installing.
I just received and loaded my new copy of CS. I had been using Elements at home and PS 6.0 in class. My OS is Windows XP.
I tried to use the Image>Resize>Image Size function, I changed the resolution from 150 to 72 but 149.999 appeared in the box. I also tried to change the Pixel dimensions to no avail.
I brought Elements up which had always worked before and experienced the same thing.
The only odd thing I've noticed when I bring up PhotoShop or PhotoShop Elements is a message "Unable to locate component" then in the box it reads "Application has failed to start because NUVTwain.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this". This has been displayed for some time now while I was using Elements, I just clicked on it four times and the program loaded. Now it appears in either PhotoShop version. I tried reinstalling Elements some time ago and it didn't solve the problem. I reinstalled CS and it also still has the same message.

To which a couple of you replied, I changed the relevant values in the registry and everything worked. Now however it has popped back up again (I have no idea why) and doesn't seem to want to go away. The registry path suggested is not quite the same on my machine, perhaps because it's networked, I really don't know but I am able to find what I think is the right reg and change the value.

A co-worker and I came in this morning and both of our inventors are giving us this Faild to Open error. We run on single user accounts and we do not use vault. I then tried to backup all of my documents, but it would not let me backup either. I did a properties on the folder and it showed everything was read only. I click off read only and it let me backup. But still will not let me open a model part or assembly??? I tried turning off Avast and that did nothing either.We are still running 2008. Inventor and Autocad.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOn the newest addition of Corel VideoStudio, I've been trying to upload a video to youtube (a 30 second one). Everytime, right before it's finished uploading on Corel I get the error message 'Upload failed due to a connection error. Please check your connection and try again'. I've tried uploading it to 4Mpeg-HD and MPEG-4. I've tried converting the video to various different files (Avi 750x576, MP4 704x480, etc). My computer's internet is perfectly fine and extremely fast, without any lag. I'm hoping to upload the video through Corel only because, despite my fast internet, I waited over ten minutes on a manual upload for the same video on youtube and after those ten minutes were up it was still at only 4%.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have isolated two issues in AE CC where I can duplicate a failed render with this message:
After Effects error: Rendering error while writing file "xxx". An output module failed. The file may be damaged or corrupted. (-1610153464)
This happens when opening an AE CS6 project and trying to render a simple comp with only one text layer and a moving mask. It also just happened after my first round trip test with Cinema 4D. I could RAM preview the c4d layer but the output to Quicktime h.264 failed.
I have even tried a full reinstall of AE CC. I have the basic FxFactory Pro plugins and MagicBullet Looks installed, but neither are being used since this is a single 1280x720 comp with a single C4D layer. Plus like I said it failed with the same error in past CS6 files.
I don't know how to force disable a plugin to test that, but I can't see how an unused plugin could cause a render to fail like this.

I completed a video and when I went to 'Create a Video File' I would receive the following error message...
"Failed to open MPEG encoder"
I'm using Ulead VideoStudio 11+. The 'vsp' file is too long...One hour fourteen minutes. I made a 'Part 1' and cut the vsp to forty-five minutes and still received the same error message.
I cut the 'vsp' to one minute thirty seconds and it would "Create a Video File'. I've never had this problem before.
It seems with Ulead VideoStudio 11+ whenever I have a problem like this I can resolve it, by backing up all the files, then removing the program, thoroughly clean the hard drive and re-install 11+.
