Everytime I try to install a camera raw update it (I need it to be able to see my images in bridge, etc.) I get completely through the installation process only to receive an "installation failed" message. how to get around this?.
I have scoured the forums and I see no discussion that addresses my particular error. For starters I have a Mac, not Windows.  Here's the error from the log:  - 0 fatal error(s), 2 error(s), 0 warning(s) ERROR: The following payload errors were found during install: ERROR: - Adobe Bridge CS5_4.0.5_AdobeBridge4-mul: Install failed  I'm following this Adobe guide on troubleshooting but have no clue how to address this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop 3 times.I am also getting similar errors for pixelbender and Camera Raw:  Adobe Pixel Bender Toolkit 2.5 Update  Installation failed   Photoshop Camera Raw 6.6 Update  Installation failed
I tried to install the update with Adobe Updater and it failed with error code U44M1P7.I then downloaded the update patcht directly from the site and tried to install. Again error code this time U44M2P7.
Application manager shows an update to 13.0.2; installing gives the aforemention error. This same error has presented itself previously with extensions manager. The workaround was to download directly from adobe and install - which worked for EM. Does not work for photoshop. Checking for updates within Photoshop CS6 extended finds no updates.  Per the update page, this update provides support for retina displays which sadly is not on my current MBPro. It seems the similar errors are migrating to other installers now. It wouldn't be so bad if the past workaround remained.Naturally, this could be a problem not well commented, as the Illustrator update provides a "not applicable" to this machine response.
The installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 failed - while 2 others update for Photoshop CS6 did install. I was installing Adobe Reader X. That's why I discovered the notification from the application manager about updates for CS6 - and I just confirmed that as well.  Apparently the Reader installation blocked only the update installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 - saying another installation process was running ... such stuff happens sometimes.  However, it seems Adobes Application Manager update module does not track its failed installations? It does not automatically advertise that update has not been installed and notifying me again to install it. At least not immediately.. So how do I rerun the Adobe Application Manager update module to check for updates manually?
I recently got the blue screen and I had to reinstall the OS (Windows 8). I had AutoCad Map 3D and AutoCad Civil 3D installed before the blue screen. I am trying to reinstall them and I keep getting multiple errors saying I am missing files.

I just tried to update to 11.01. PS was open the first time, but was closed after the download started the second time. Only my email app-Eudora was open both times.
I get a message on my computer that there's an update to install, but when I attempt to install it, it goes through the motions of installing itself, then says it couldn't install itself and that I have to reinstall the original product so that it can install itself. I'm very reluctant to go through the whole installation process all over again, so I'm curious if there's any other way to get these updates. This is a registered product by the way, in my name.
Ive been trying to install Adobe Photoshop CS4 trial for the past 3 days. The only reason I want to try it is because of its ability to create textures directly on models. Dispite it not saying that Adobe Photoshop CS4 having an error, I still get this screen ....
