Illustrator CC update installation continues to fail. I uninstalled the program and tried to reinstall, now I get failed message when trying to reinstall the program. What do I need to do?
View 1 RepliesI have been trying to install Photoshop CS6 on my MacBookPro3,1, for weeks now- Installed entire CS6 Suite -Design Web Premium- everything installed except Photoshop. just uninstalled previous Creative Suites (CS4) have updated to LION-- still installing just Photoshop from disk erroring out? I have spent hours on phone with support, prior to updating to LION, unsuccessful.

I bought Photoshop CS2 some time ago. I got a new mac (OS X 10.8.2) and when I'm trying to install it I introduce the cd, accept and after it copies the files, appears "The installation failed" The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI run the Adobe Cloud Cleaner. I uninstalled Photoshop from my Windows 8 system and opened the Cleaner. I was asked questions via a small window - it wasn't possible to enlagre the window to see all the texts.
I entered the y to all and I waited until it finished cleaning. It reported that there were issues but didn't explain further. I noticed that the Creative Cloud Manager icon had disappeared so I tried to download Photoshop CC but it failed.
Now I have work backing up!
I am running Mac OS 10.6.3 and Photoshop CS 5.When I go to the Adobe application software updates manager it says update failed..Is there a known issue with these versions? Also, where can I see what my latest camera raw update that has been installed?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI get a message on my computer that there's an update to install, but when I attempt to install it, it goes through the motions of installing itself, then says it couldn't install itself and that I have to reinstall the original product so that it can install itself. I'm very reluctant to go through the whole installation process all over again, so I'm curious if there's any other way to get these updates. This is a registered product by the way, in my name.

Everytime I try to install a camera raw update it (I need it to be able to see my images in bridge, etc.) I get completely through the installation process only to receive an "installation failed" message. how to get around this?.

When importing a pie chart - the chart imports OK, but the pie elements import as low resiolution non-vector elements. Is there a way to import as 100% vector elements? View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen dragging a clip into a project and for some reason half way through the clip, the video goes black but the audio continues?? It's happened a few times for me when the clip is particularly large eg High Def, 4gb, 25mins long (AVCHD). It makes editing impossible because my VSP x3 crashes when I try to play that clip. When I click the edit bar to the good part of the clip, I get the usual "still picture" at that point, but in the faulty segment, I still get a black preview screen for the "still".
Splitting the clip doesn't work so I'm presuming there's a proxy file problem. Anti-virus was switched off and I allowed sufficient time for the clip to move into the project. A real nuisance when trying to preview & edit.
Each time I try and make a backup of my catalog, LR4 corrupts it.
This all started when I got my first error message after LR4 crashing on me when I attempteped select "Always write changes into XMP" from off to on in the catalog settings window. I of course didn't freak too much because I knew I had a back up. When I went to open the back up I got the corrupt catalog error again. Not to freak just yet because I have my entire Photo drive being backed up each night to another drive via a backup program. This time I made a copy of the LR4 catalog from the backup drive and replace the corrupt one on my main Photo drive. It opens and I feel like a bad *** because all this backup obsession is being put to use and working. I do a bunch of work with new imports and some old projects the rest of my day. Once finished I decide to close LR4 and make a fresh backup of the catalog using LR4 backup feature. To my surprise, it goes corrupt again corrupting the backup and the main catalog. Now I have hours of work wasted because I haven't run the nightly backup yet. I researched methods for fixing a corrupt catalog and have been mostly successful.
This all being said, what is it that causing my catalog to continue to go corrupt when doing the LR4 backup procedure? One additional piece of the story is that after the initial LR4 crash I lost the Photo drive from the desktop. Meaning somehow it unmounted itself. I did a reboot and it was back.
I've updated programs and installed latested version of Java but did not resolve any of the issues.

View 2 Replies View Relatedwhenever I try to use my brush too the brush panel pops up over the cursor forcing me to hit undo or click elsewhere to remove it. This is every stroke of the brush- not when I first switch to that tool. This was not a proble 24 hours ago until I upgaded to PhotoshopCC! I have gone through the preferences menu and made every change to the brush panel that I could. But it still happens. I am on a pc with window8 and 16ram and a Cintiq21.

My second question regards the pixel grid. When you zoom in at different degrees it displays different grid patterns. Is there an option to only have it display a grid of horizontal and vertical lines?
I've reset all tools, completely shut down my macbook but nothing is working.

Step1: Created an multi-layered vector artwork with gradient fill and stroke.
Step 2: Saved as SVG file - Settings Profile: SVG 1.1
Step 3: SVG file is not saved properly hence unable to regenerate - Problem: Artwork Scale and Canvas size has minimised drastically.
Same art is saved perfectly in .ai format.Requirement is SVG format only. How can I revert the previous update.My MBP's Time machine is disabled from the beginning.
