How to erase top text on a picture and keep picture without damaging the picture under the erase text?
You know the protect watermark text you get but I have permission to use the pictures but I and picture owers do not know how to do this.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I double-click on a text item, AutoCAD used to go to text edit mode, without entering the TEDIT command. This quit working - now I have to enter TEDIT.
Also, when I select items and hit the Delete key, nothing happens. The selected items used to get deleted.
I tried going to the Windows Start menu and resetting all of the settings to the defaults - this didn't work.
I also tried re-installing AutoCAD from my original disk, and that didn't work either.

Second question. How to make a text looks "real".
I have thought : let's take a picture of a someone holding a blank paper and add a message.

It's not bad but it doesn't look as if I had stamped the message. So I was wondering is there any tool to do so ? Or to make the text fit the picture. As you can see, the quality is not perfect, the first thing coming in my mind is "pixels". It seems we have two different kind of "pixelisation" (I don't know if it's the correct term for what I want to say) : an "old" picture with a new text...I tried the pixel filter it's not working fine.
My some autocad files were slowed down. For example  i wait about 10 seconds when i edit a text.
Afterwards i see too many text styles in format/text styles command.  i want to delete text styles but i can't.
it says "style in use, can't be deleted". I dont know where these text styles come from. Other files when they are infected with the virus, such as. Also have $ signs in text style names.
I want to delete some parts, pieces from that large black M letter. How can i do that?

I also have noticed that menu under right click does not have the same options as before ie. block edit is not there and so on. I have opened differend dwg ones that I wasn't working on when it crushed and the same thing happed.Â
I opened my drawings with 2012LT and everything works fine.Â
I`m working on this architecture project and copied some clean lines to the file from a landscape design project.
Somehow these text styles showed up to my file (more than 50 text styles from xrefs, because of their strange names, even though I don`t have any attachment). And it says that I cannot delete them cause I`m using it.Â
I`ve tried out everything I could imagine and read about it. It doesn`t work. Now this simple .dwg file is very heavy and with a lot of unwanted text styles. Even if I try to copy just the lines to start over another file, all the text styles go together.

Attached is one of the files that this happened to. As I`m working with a few attachments this happened to all of it. My default text style are "B3_1.5", "B3_2.0" and "B3_3.0". All the other are unwanted text styles.
I cannot purge a textstyle out of my drawing. When I run purge nothing is available.
However if I select the style from the style dialog I am able to select delete and delete the style.
When I use the method on the style (vlax-invoke-method style 'Delete). AutoCAD states:
Automation Error. Object is referenced by other object(s)
The style is defenatly not in use but may have been used in the past.
I am trying to create a very simple logo. Basically, I created two layers: one with the letter M and the other with the letter W. I now want to place another letter over top of them and then select it so I can delete the shape of the third letter from the other two and essentially be able to see the transparent background through the third letter.

I have done this in PS CS2 no problem, but I am trying to do it in illustrator so I can resize the design for anything from a business card to a billboard if needed. Bottom line is I need a solution that wont effect me being able to resize the vecotr to crazy sizes.

In the image below, the "S" is just a white letter. I need it to be a cut out through the M and W so that whatever Background it is on the page or document shows through that S space.
Why can you no longer delete layers with the delete key?

When i try to delete a file from LR using the delete from disk option the file does not so up in my trash. I have deleted 200 bad files and the never showed up in the trash. I have been trying to clear up some disk space but the available disk still shows the same so I know they haven't been deleted. Am using Lion on a MacBook Pro 15 and am fully updated. Am I doing something wrong?

Until yesterday I was able to delete pictures, using the contextual menu or the delete key. I got the message asking me if I wanted to delete them from disk or from the catalog.
But now, that popup message doesn't appear. The picture is not removed, just nothing happens.

I checked the logs and this is the error message:

performCommandDesc could not perform command ag.library.expandAllStacks (Command was disabled.).

I uninstalled LR moving it to the trash. Then I deleted the com.adobe.Lightroom4.plist and I also removed the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom.
I rebbooted the machine and installed it again. But the issue is still there, with the same error message.

I verified the disk and checked file permissions.
I also tried to use another catalog from a backup.

Nothing, same error.

One anusual thing that I did before the error was to install the "HDRsoft Merge to 32-bit HDR Plug-in for Lightroom - Version 1.0"
I removed it but the error was still there. After the re-install I didnd't install that plug-in again so if it was the problem, it shouldn't be after the clean installation that I did again.

I have a shape in illustrator CS6 that I'm trying to edit. When I try to click on a point with the Delete Anchor Point Tool nothing happens however I am able to select the point using the Direct Selection Tool and then remove it using the "Remove selected anchor points" option in the Control palette. Same issue with trying to use the Convert Anchor Point Tool.
View 7 Replies View Relatedtrying to copy txt from an outside text editor and pasting them into an open, editable text layer in my workspace. The problem is that I can COPY the text fine, but when I click over to PS to paste it into the open editable text layer it either pastes the previous text from my clipboard OR it won't paste anything at all. I can then go into any other text field on a browser, spreadsheet document, a different text editor, notepad, etc and successfully paste the proper batch of text I wanted to paste into PS. Sometimes I have some rather large files open 50+megs when I notice this happen. I have to save my work and close out entirely of PS and then open it again before I can begin editing my original document again and successfully paste the text into the open editable text layer. This may last for a few COPY/PASTE sessions of additional text in additional text layers, but then begins displaying the symptoms I described above.

I am on Win7 on an AlienWare M17XR3 laptop with 16G RAM and AMD Radeon HD 6900M Series display adapter.I assume it's either in my PS performance settings which I have PS using 10413MB RAM and has over 350G scratch disk space. If it's not that I guess my laptop system performance settings which I've never tinkered with since I purchased it.

am trying to edit a text layer but i am unable to open the text box to change text.
It creates a new text layer everytime i click on the layer.
I can't find the trash can under the pallete to move the action I would like to delete in to.

When only one layer is left, I can't delete it! There is a icon or symbol to the upper left of the project, which won't go away.
