It does not allow me to use my Corel 13 and causes problems in Corel 8.I've already unchecked the Install files for Asian languages, but to no avail.
After installing SP3 for XP I encountered problems while opening files in Photoshop. It takes 10x times more to open GIF, JPEG, PNG and PSD files than before. While it opens, Photoshop seems to freeze and it takes up to 20 seconds until a 10x10 pixel file or a 10MB PSD file is opened. So size doesn't matter.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been using the full version now for about 6 weeks and its hopeless. I can't do anything without it crashing, oh i can open it Thank god i have CS3 .. it works fine doing all the same work. If adobe ppls read this .... Can i ask what the you are doing? - i can't believe i paid lots of $$ for this .. Photoshop CS4 is very very flakey. in the last 24 hours i have had 7 crashes from CS4 .. not one from CS3 .... Total crashes using CS4 over two machines would exceed 50-60 crashes now, it seems it cannot even make an action without crashing 5 times. Can i have a refund or can you appease me and tell me i don't have the correct service pack, not develop software for adobe and fix there problems by been on the phone to them 24/7. I would even be keen to hear I'm not alone and this is a flop.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got great results with X4, until it installed the service pack this week.. Now i cannot render an mp4 without long sections 'staggering' - like a strobing effect on the entire render, the picture lurches as it plays, and things like VLC hang when scanning thru the file..
Also, the framrate i set now has little relation to the actual outcome..
The piece i am rendering fails at a different point each time - the staggering starts and thats that, framrate drops to about 2fps - utterly useless..
I have tried removing the install and re-installing, but when i do this i can clearly see by 'check for updates' that there are no updates, which means SP2 is surviving the uninstall.
I have tried every combination of every setting for days, this is a new problem directly related to the service pack..
Where can i get a manifest of the files in the service packs? i'm going to have to remove them all by hand and start again..
I am trying to get AutoCAD LT 2002 working in Windows 7. I did searching on these boards and from what I read the solution is to install the AutoCAD LT 2002 service pack (upgrading AutoCAD to verison 44) and then instal the gedit 3 compatibility patch (upgrading it from verison 44 to 47.
The problem I have is that when I run the service pack installation program (K030ltss1_K044_aclt_unl.exe) I get a message that my installation is already up to date. However when I check the version in autoCAd itself it says that it's still at version 30.
How do i find out which update/service pack of max i'm using. I'm currently using 2014 but cant remember if i've installed sp3.

This will not install. It cannot find PSPPro.msi and neither can I using search. I do have Service pack 2 installed. Everytime I open the program it wants me to update. I am using Windows 8.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI need a consensus from the forum members here regarding this Service Pack 2 update (which is named Patch3.exe). I've read that it causes problems and I've read where it doesn't. As of right now, without the patch, my version is 13.6.2.36 , I think with the patch it will be .69, or is there another patch (or version) floating around out there that is more stable?
Also, under Settings>Performance the "Use Hardeware Encoder acceleration" is grayed out. How to check that thing off and what hardware are you using to get it to show up?
I am trying to install a service pack. the file is...
autocadmap3d2011lockedx86sp2
I click to install this application service pack and this error appears...
THe update could not be installed because the expected autodesk product could not ne located on your computer. Make sure that you are using the correct update for the product.
I believe I have the correct file for the product but I do not know were to go from here.
Since my AutoCAD crashes when exiting 95% of the time I thought I would install service pack 1.1. I have the 64 bit version of Autodesk Product Design Suite Premium 2013 which includes AutoCAD, AutoCAD Mechanical and AutoCAD Electrical.  It is a Windows 7 HP XW series workstation.
Everytime I try to install the service pack it does not install, and a dialog box pops up stating "The service pack could not be installed because the expected Autodesk product could not be located on your computer." To be certain I tried both the 64 bit and 32 bit service pack. What may be causing this? Is this possibly caused by the fact that in Autodesk Product Design Suite Premium, AutoCAD is kind of a burried inside AutoCAD Mechanical, somewhat like a sub-program of AutoCAD Mechanical.
Is it possible to Remove Service Pack Updates?

Even after deleting and re-installing Corel PSP X6 (version after initial install = 16.1.0.48)
Tried to download the SP through the program itself, but even from the download from the Corel server, i have the same result !
after install the last service pack, I can't use the MAPPOLYLINETOPOLYGON command, it works only for the first time;
also, I've personalized the acad.pgp file, changing some commands, but some don't work (as EQ=matchprop); they work right before updating
My AutoCad 2013 is a bit unstable and crashes fairly often. Autodesk is telling me to install the 64 bit service pack. When I try to run it, I get an error code 1324 (illegal character in My Documents) and error code 1603.Â

View 9 Replies View RelatedI was rolling out 2013 in one of our offices during the brief time SP1 was available. I went ahead and included SP1 in the office's network deployment (using the append option) and installed on all the machines in that office. Now that SP1 has proven to to be a problem, is there any way to uninstall the SP without having to do a complete uninstall and reinstall at each machine? Tried checking thru control panel (with and without "show updates" turned on), but the SP does not appear in the list to uninstall separately.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI wrote a max script that renders png files from AutoCAD dwg files.
I wrote a test.exe application that launches MAX. When MAX launches the above mentioned max script runs and creates png files from the latest dwg files in a folder.
Next, I wrote a windows service to launch MAX every 15 minutes to do the same as above.
Problem... when the windows service launches MAX I can see 3dsmax.exe in the windows processes running but max just sits there. Nothing hapens. No cpu usage.
Is it possible to launch and run MAX from a windows servce?
When I try to authenticate facebook in lightroom, My browser (IE) opens and I log in.
Now a window appears with the following text:"no apps are installed to open this type of link (lightroom)".
And when I click "Done" in the lightroom dialog, I get a "failed to receive authentication token".This worked fine in Windows 7, but it seems there are some problems in Windows 8.

I have crappy Windows Vista 32bit and just updated to Service Pack 1,
I use to open up any image the default use to be my PSCS3, Now I have patched to the Service Pack 1 the default is Microsoft Picture manager.
I right clicked on the image, chose open with>choose a default program and at the top
Photoshop was not their just Paint, Picture Viewer etc.
So I clicked on browse c:Programs>Adobe>Photoshop CS3>Photoshop (the Photoshop icon at the very bottom). Then highlight the icon, Photoshop appears in the file name, then pressed open but absolutey nothing happens.
I go back into the other programs and recommended programs but Photoshop is not their and my images still load in Microsoft Picture Mangaer.
However if I open up PSC3 normally it is perfect
I have a number of the Topaz Labs plug-ins and have recently downloaded and installed D x O film pack. I cannot get PS5 to recognize all the filters at once.
Â
When I go to the preferences/additional plug ins window, I can get PS5 to "see" either topaz labs directory or the DxO directory. What do I have to do to get the filters drop down menu to see all my installed plug ins?
sometimes when working with photos on removable drives in ACR and then later in PS I forget to first write the raw files onto its final destination.I understand why this happens to me. One isn't sure whether the raw-file is at all worth it and then finally everything is done and one now better should make sure that PS finds its stuff when editing the psd anew. At least given one brings in raws as as smart object from ACR....
Â
My question is: Is there maybe a "pack and go"-script around which allows gathering all project-files, best on open projects at once ?The script looked for the raw, and the sidecar with settings. Then the script simply asked for a common storage-location, together with the psd.
Is anyone here good at understanding Windows XP Services. I've had a problem with PC:CS which I'm troubleshooting right now, and I THINK it has to do (in part) with the fact that my Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) Service is stuck at STARTING.
(I do not get FILE > IMPORT options) and many of my FILE > AUTOMATE selections are gone (not grayed out, gone!).
If I can get this service to run, maybe it'll fix it. I don't know why, but even after purchasing the PS:CS upgrade, Adobe says I don't qualify for any tech support for the product.
What does UV Pack tool stands for if distance between clusters differs way too much.
View 7 Replies View RelatedIs there no proper way to uninstall the Bonjour service that is automatically installed with PS CS3? It is of little use to the average Windows user and the service is also messed up by being named "##Id_String2.6844F930_1628_4223_B5CC_5BB94B879762##" rather than "Bonjour Service".

Having learned the drill with VS Pro X3, I went right to the "Do More" tab to download Extra Templates, Font Packs, and Title Packs after completing my new VS Pro X4 installation. Almost all of the "Free" packs downloaded and installed as expected without incident. (The word INSTALLED now appears under each successfully installed pack in the list of downloaded elements which originally showed a button reading DOWNLOAD NOW.)
However, for some unexplained reason, when I click my mouse on the DOWNLOAD NOW button for Font Pack 2, I see a very brief busy icon, followed by no noticeable response from the server. No error message is given.
I have tried closing VS Pro X4 and then relaunching the app before attempting to download Font Pack 2. I have tried closing VS Pro X4 and then rebooting my PC before relaunching the app and attempting to download Font Pack 2. Neither tactic succeeded.
Is it just me or is the window of the pack and go not resizable?Â
5 lines for me, is just not enough.
Any ways to increase the size?
