Even after deleting and re-installing Corel PSP X6 (version after initial install = 16.1.0.48)
Tried to download the SP through the program itself, but even from the download from the Corel server, i have the same result !
I got great results with X4, until it installed the service pack this week.. Now i cannot render an mp4 without long sections 'staggering' - like a strobing effect on the entire render, the picture lurches as it plays, and things like VLC hang when scanning thru the file..
Also, the framrate i set now has little relation to the actual outcome..
The piece i am rendering fails at a different point each time - the staggering starts and thats that, framrate drops to about 2fps - utterly useless..
I have tried removing the install and re-installing, but when i do this i can clearly see by 'check for updates' that there are no updates, which means SP2 is surviving the uninstall.
I have tried every combination of every setting for days, this is a new problem directly related to the service pack..
Where can i get a manifest of the files in the service packs? i'm going to have to remove them all by hand and start again..
After installing SP3 for XP I encountered problems while opening files in Photoshop. It takes 10x times more to open GIF, JPEG, PNG and PSD files than before. While it opens, Photoshop seems to freeze and it takes up to 20 seconds until a 10x10 pixel file or a 10MB PSD file is opened. So size doesn't matter.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been using the full version now for about 6 weeks and its hopeless. I can't do anything without it crashing, oh i can open it Thank god i have CS3 .. it works fine doing all the same work. If adobe ppls read this .... Can i ask what the you are doing? - i can't believe i paid lots of $$ for this .. Photoshop CS4 is very very flakey. in the last 24 hours i have had 7 crashes from CS4 .. not one from CS3 .... Total crashes using CS4 over two machines would exceed 50-60 crashes now, it seems it cannot even make an action without crashing 5 times. Can i have a refund or can you appease me and tell me i don't have the correct service pack, not develop software for adobe and fix there problems by been on the phone to them 24/7. I would even be keen to hear I'm not alone and this is a flop.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased PSP-X4 Ultimate in a box. I was able to install the program itself onto my netbook but neither the Ultimate Pack nor the ProX4-KPT download could install because the popups are so big the buttons to click are inaccessible.
I tried changing the resolution and some other generic workarounds I found in a net search, to no avail.
The program itself was a little difficult to install for the same reason, but there was just barely enough of the buttons accessible to successfully click on them.
I am trying to get AutoCAD LT 2002 working in Windows 7. I did searching on these boards and from what I read the solution is to install the AutoCAD LT 2002 service pack (upgrading AutoCAD to verison 44) and then instal the gedit 3 compatibility patch (upgrading it from verison 44 to 47.
The problem I have is that when I run the service pack installation program (K030ltss1_K044_aclt_unl.exe) I get a message that my installation is already up to date. However when I check the version in autoCAd itself it says that it's still at version 30.

I need a consensus from the forum members here regarding this Service Pack 2 update (which is named Patch3.exe). I've read that it causes problems and I've read where it doesn't. As of right now, without the patch, my version is 13.6.2.36 , I think with the patch it will be .69, or is there another patch (or version) floating around out there that is more stable?
Also, under Settings>Performance the "Use Hardeware Encoder acceleration" is grayed out. How to check that thing off and what hardware are you using to get it to show up?
I am trying to install a service pack. the file is...

I click to install this application service pack and this error appears...
THe update could not be installed because the expected autodesk product could not ne located on your computer. Make sure that you are using the correct update for the product.
I believe I have the correct file for the product but I do not know were to go from here.
Since my AutoCAD crashes when exiting 95% of the time I thought I would install service pack 1.1. I have the 64 bit version of Autodesk Product Design Suite Premium 2013 which includes AutoCAD, AutoCAD Mechanical and AutoCAD Electrical.  It is a Windows 7 HP XW series workstation.
Everytime I try to install the service pack it does not install, and a dialog box pops up stating "The service pack could not be installed because the expected Autodesk product could not be located on your computer." To be certain I tried both the 64 bit and 32 bit service pack. What may be causing this? Is this possibly caused by the fact that in Autodesk Product Design Suite Premium, AutoCAD is kind of a burried inside AutoCAD Mechanical, somewhat like a sub-program of AutoCAD Mechanical.
I see on the Corel site, under Patches and Updates, a download for PSP x4. Is this new or something that I can ignore for the time being?

View 1 Replies View Relatedafter install the last service pack, I can't use the MAPPOLYLINETOPOLYGON command, it works only for the first time;
also, I've personalized the acad.pgp file, changing some commands, but some don't work (as EQ=matchprop); they work right before updating
My AutoCad 2013 is a bit unstable and crashes fairly often. Autodesk is telling me to install the 64 bit service pack. When I try to run it, I get an error code 1324 (illegal character in My Documents) and error code 1603.Â

View 9 Replies View RelatedI was working in Corel PaintShop Pro x4 when I noticed that there was an additional tab that was named the same as the file that I was currently working on but they were numbered 1 and 2. As I work on one file the other updates at the same time. I tried selecting "duplicate" under Windows but this duplicates the window as "Image #" and does not update when I change the original file.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have just installed PSP X3. I have 2 questions that I could not find answers to when searching the forum (though admittedly I found searching through here very confusing at times)
First the Service Packs. Do I need to install each on of these in chronological order? Or, will installing Service Pack 5 include all the prior service packs, so I only need to install that one alone?
Secondly, Screen Capture. I have clicked on Import/Screen Capture. However, Set Up and Start are grayed out and will not allow me to do it. On my old computer the prior version of PSP worked beautifully with screen captures and I never had to do any tweaking to make it work. What do I need to do in order to get Screen Capture functionality?
I'm not a pro at any of this by any stretch of the imagination. I'm a journalist and I use PSP for the pictures that are uploaded to my column. I need this screen capture capability in order to grab important pictures that I need on occasion.
I was rolling out 2013 in one of our offices during the brief time SP1 was available. I went ahead and included SP1 in the office's network deployment (using the append option) and installed on all the machines in that office. Now that SP1 has proven to to be a problem, is there any way to uninstall the SP without having to do a complete uninstall and reinstall at each machine? Tried checking thru control panel (with and without "show updates" turned on), but the SP does not appear in the list to uninstall separately.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIn contrast to version PSPPX3, the new PSPX4 has implemented a tool that will remove all necessary keys and folders from your system. It works on all supported systems without problems.
follow the description below if you want to remove PSPX4 from your system.
How to remove PSPX4
Go to Start - Control Panel - Add and remove (XP) / Programs and Features (Vista, Windows 7) and remove PSPX4.
Restart the system if you want to reinstall it.
Additional note: No further action is required. Using other uninstall tools is neither good nor necessary.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo we are wanting to send on a model to a customer. Â I have used pack and go with the following settings:
Copy to Single Path
Model Files Only
When I try and open the newly created files, it gives a bunch of error messages looking for FEA files, as well as missing some OLE links, which is good as I don't want to send on any FEA information with the model, but is there a way to strip that out completely from the model without having to go through each individual file and deleting all of the simulations? The printer setting - I could never save it.For my label printer LP2844, every time I print, it defaults to Width=4.88 and Height=11.00 and some unprintable area settings. Every time I do my first printing, I have to change it (to 4"x6"). I have gone thru my Windows printer device setting (properties, preferences, advanced, etc) and I have removed the printer device, deleted and driver, reinstalled everything and it still does it.Then I try it on another PC. Same thing.Paint shop Pro X4 Pro V14.3.0.3 licensed version. I paid for it.It seems like Paint shop saves its own printer saving somewhere and I can't re-save it.
