Revit :: Duplicate Exercise Published In Architecture 2012?
Jul 28, 2011I'm trying to duplicate an exercise published in Revit Architecture 2012 Essentials (pp104-105, Figures 4.25 - 4.27). I'm obviously doing something incorrectly, but I can't get the two separately drawm roofs to join.
Would love to attach the file, but the simple drawing is 2.2MB when Zipped.

Feb 20, 2009trying to find files using key words is not working using bridge with cs3 and windowsxp.
when key words are attached to a file they are evident when the image is open. when i try to search for the file using the selected key word i get a no results found response.

May 30, 2013Not all the photos in my windows folders are appaearing in Elements 11 media view. In one case only 1 photo appears in media view but 42 appear when I press "reveal in explorer"
If I choose File|Get photos and videos I get the message "Nothing was imported" with "file already exists in catalog".If I choose "Find all missing files" I get the message "No media to be displayed"
I tried "Repair catalog" but this did not solve the problem.After searching the internet I tried renaming C:ProgramDataAdobeElements Organizer Catalogs My Catalog humb.5.cache and a new one was created (over twice the size of the original) but stll not solving the problem

Is this normal and I have to cough up some more for LR4?

Feb 17, 2013I was trying to create a simple slideshow with sound when first my computer warned of low memory (something that doesn't seem plausible), and then Photoshop Elements 9 and the associated organizer crashed. When I brought it back, several photos were "grayed out" and my organizer is completely frozen. The error suggests that there are corrupt files. I tried to follow the instructions on the website, but cannot find any sort of Catalog menu or means of changing anything in the catalog or organizer as indicated in the troubleshooting and restoration instructions.

Feb 9, 2012I am not able to find monochrome.ctb when I click on File -> Page Setup Manager -> Modify -> Plotstyle table my only selection are .stb files which are color. When I try to add a new file it will not allow me to do a .ctb file or changes the properties from color to grayscale.
I have gotten a driver for monochrome.ctb from my co-worker. I clicked on File-> Plot Style Manager-> Add-A-Plot Table Wizard and then walked through the steps to upload the monochrome.ctb drive. The drive then appears on the list of drivers in Plot Style Manager. However it will still not let me select monochrome.ctb as an option to publish to. Is there something that I have not tride? Am I able to use .ctb in AutoCAD LT 2012?

Dec 1, 2013I have been using Lightroom 5 happily for several months with no problems. A few weeks ago, I started getting the message at the import screen that previews were not available. This was OK, I just guessed on which I needed to import.
Starting last week, I cannot import files from either of my cameras. On the import screen, when it is trying to find files, it just hangs up. Have let it go for half an hour and nothing. When I click "cancel", I get the message that Lightroom has encountered a problem and needs to close.
I have tried purging the cache, though I'm not sure it is working, as I never get any message that the purge has been successfully completed. I click the button and nothing happens. I have tried starting a new catalog in case my other one is too big (approx 14,000 images), but same problem. I have tried installing the beta 5.2 version, still same problem.
I would love a solution to this, as for now I am having to import the NEF files by just dragging them to a folder on my desktop, and then importing the files from that folder into lightroom (when importing from folders on the computer, I have no problems).

Sep 1, 2012I still use Picasa and LR3 (new to LR3, havent made the full switch as I'm still trying to get a grip on the LR3 learning curve)
What I did was change the folder names in Picasa (and found out I cannot undo folder name changes). I can locate the files in LR3 by keyword, but dont know how to reassosiate the files to their new folder.
Whats the the best way for LR3 to find these files again? I dont want to have to delete and reload the images, but will if its easier

Jan 11, 2012Yesterday I installed LR 4 Beta. I had a folder with 300 images in it on LR 3, obviously all files had names. I imported these photos into LR4 to work with LR4 and they were renamed in the process. Now in my LR3 folder, all the files still have there old names and the "missing photo ?" and I assume that's because the name has been changed and LR3 can't find them.

I've tried iterating through a drawing's SketchedSymbols collection, but it seems that this collection always has zero size, and unlike the items I've been successful with so far, I cannot find a specific collection for those items either within the sheet or drawingview objects.

Feb 27, 2009This didn't used to happen, but now whenever I open an Illustrator file, the "Find Font" dialog opens as though the fonts I'm using aren't found. Not sure what it wants me to do because no matter what I try nothing resolves. I simply click the "Done" button and go about my business. And there are no problems. Why is this happening? and why now? My fonts are always loaded before I open the file, the file looks and handles just fine.
