I just tried to install updates for ACR 5.3 and PSCS 11.0.1.They downloaded ok, but all the updates failed to install. I tried this from Bridge and also from PS, same results.I'm on XP Pro, Quad Core, 250G C-drive, 500G storage and scratch drive, 4GB memory on board. Is there a problem with Adobe or my computer?
Since I installed Photoshop CS6 on my Mac OS 10.8, I haven't been able to successfully install an update. Every time I get the error U44M1P6, which tells me to try installing the update manually. Which I do, and I get the same result. Â I have been asked if I've changed anything in Photoshop's folder or something similar, and I haven't done anything to it besides installing one extension using Extension Manager, and keeping Photoshop's icon on my dock.
I have just purchased Photoshop CS6 and ran the updater from within Photoshop. I know some of the updates worked but not all. So I ran it again 3 or 4 attempts now have failed with this message:-  It has failed to install - Extension Manager 6.0.6 Update with the error message -Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7  I have found a solution on the forum- Download and install the updates manually. Go to [URL]...updates and download the update that you are trying to install. There is no update available there which refers to Extension Manager 6.0.6 Update  I opened the Adobe Application Manager and run it for updates, it reports I'm good - no updates! But when I then try for an update from within Photoshop I still get the same message telling me I need to instal ExtensionManager 6.0.6 UpdateI have tried to find the error log from within my system - but failed misserably (I am on Windows 7-64)  where do I go from here? Do I need Extension Manager? What does it do? Is it vital I install this update?
I installed the whole stuff and wanted to make an update of the whole suite including photoshop, fireworks and so on. I hoped, there would exist a kind of auto update functionality as in microsoft products e.g. But I can not find a menu item for that e.g. in photoshop. So, does it not exist? Do I have to search for updates for every single product and install every single update file? My suite is a german version, so that I would also have to care for not installing any wrong packages for this language version -I would not like to destroy my installation by using wrong update packages. To your experience, how often do you look for updates?
I'm getting them from a DVD, straight from the player (prog). When i paste it into PS, everything looks great. But, after I've saved it and reopened it's just a black screen. Could I get a better screenshot using Premiere,
Photoshop fails to load the color table when you do a CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + S to SAVE FOR WEB and saving as a GIF format?
I don't understand why this bug is still around. But you just gotta close down the SAVE FOR WEB palette and then try again and again until it decides to load the palette.
Nvidia GeForce 8600GT 256mb downloaded the drivers last week (Driver Version: 6.14.0011.7824) Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6850 @ 3.00GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 2814MB RAM Page File: 1049MB used, 3652MB available DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
Tech support says I am configured fine. But I need to have a compatible video card. I say based on specs it is. They say but it might not. I ask for list of "approved cards" and they can't tell me... they then tell me its Nvidia & Wacoms problem (but Autodesk works fine?) and transfer me to customer service to get me the mysterious list of approved vid cards (which I have searched for on the site - can someone point me top this?)and then cust service is reading off the side of the box "must have 1..2..8.. mb of " not even aware of what it is she is reading... then when I ask for SPECIFICS I am cut off. No call back even though she asked for my number in case we were... you know... cut...
Why is my Wacom Not working?[downloaded latest drivers and called their support] It shows up all cursor function fine, except when you try to paint... NOTHING appears. (Invisible ink, perhaps? Is this a feature?)
I'm using PS CS5 extended on two different systems and having the same problem. My right control key is often getting stuck on - even though the key is not physically stuck. Occasionally it also just seems to stop working, as does the right alt key. It only affects Photoshop, and I can fix it by quitting and restarting. This happens on a Vista 64 system and my Windows 7 laptop. They have two different keyboards, obviously, and I think two different drivers. I use custom keyboard shortcuts for a few things, but reverting to default did not seem to work that I could tell.  my keyboard acting up until I got the laptop and started having the problem there too.
Every time I use Quick selection tool it selects the area which I don't want to use. I have a website called JoGuru Social Travel Network for which I need to edit it's logo. Now since the logo has many green and blue variation I can't select the area I need.  I thought of changing the color of logo so that it looks refined but green color signifies travel and i can't think of using any other color. It would have been easy to pick other color. For me Green is God. I must use that only. I also need to encorporate small road in it that defines journey to infinity. This tool use to work well before. It's giving me problem for the first time.
I have A windows 64 Ultimate system, PSE 10, with the latest updates. I have a core I7 procesor and 12GB of ram. I'm using a Nikon D800 with a 24-70 lens and a full spherical pannoramic setup, to eliminate paralax. Prior to this setup, I was using a D7000 with a 17-55 2.8 and a standard panning tripod and dropping it into the notch for vertical pannoramic stitching.  Prior to the gear upgrades, I was not having problems stitching pannoramas together. I just exported them through lightroom (as an 8bit PSD file) or from a folder and used auto mode. I exported the end result as a high rest TIFF. Now I'm getting an error message that says, could not merge images/some images. I even reduced the number of photographs, to three, and I still couldn't get it to work. I generally take photos 20-40% overlapped (as recommended) to assist the software in stitching. I've had partial success with the interactive mode, but I've still have some ghosting present. I don't understand how my success rate has gone from 100% to only partial, yet my gear and technique has improved. I'm wondering if PSE has problems with the large file sizes of the D800. That's the only thing I can think of that's changed in my workflow. Am I hitting some inherent software limiations that a full vesion of photoshop does not have? A friend of mine has a copy of the raw files and has successfully stitched them together with a full version of photoshop cs5 (all done with a less capable system).Â
I have CS2 Premium which I'm running on an older PowerPC Mac (G5 - Dual 2.3 GHz ) running OS 10.4.11. I've had this setup for many many years (registered/activated with Adobe) but suddenly one day I could no longer launch my Photoshop app: when I clicked on the Pshop icon it would start the launch (open) procedure ... and then almost instantly it would quit (in just a few seconds ... before the application even got to the 'title/credit' screen).  I've recently tried uninstalling CS2 (everything except Acrobat) and I ended up doing a manual uninstall of Version Cue. I've been on Macs for 20+ years so figured this would be a pretty straightforward procedure - uninstall -> reinstall and then back to work. Nope.  I'm attempting a fresh installation direct from the original CS2 CDs. In any event, when I try to (re)install CS2 - and after going through the standard screens with Adobe's usage terms agreement and installation hard disk selection - I arrive at the screen where one selects which application(s) to install by checking the various boxes (or alternately, to install the entire suite) but the 'Adobe Photoshop CS2/Adobe ImageReady CS2' line and checkbox are grayed out, so it will not allow me to check them and continue with the Photoshop installation process.
I have noticed in the last few days that my Lightroom 5 (CC) is failing to quit. I run it on a mac with the latest OS. I have to force quit the program.
the newest model I have made I have run into some troubles. When I switch between one member and another most parameters update correctly but the part is still requiring an update before the finished part is created.
When the feature small sheds is enabled the pattern isn't working correctly. It seems as though the height that controls the sheds is not updating during the member change process and is causing the pattern to be the wrong length.
I have set up a form to add my parameters as there are a large number in the ipart table.I can't generate my member files as they show the member before it is updated and is wrong.
The subject basically says it all. I am trying to emboss two words onto a solid model. Unfortunately it keeps failing. I am copying this model off of U-Tube models "LED LAMP"
Try and use the emboss feature and engrave the words "LED LAMP" On the centre of the top of my solid model part. Top View reads vertically going up the way.
Please edit part 8. Then start the Emboss process. 1/64 = Depth. Flat White colour. Following the video on youtube they use engrave from face then reverse the direction the arrow points towards the model. Then OK. That's the way I am showed it and I can't get it to engrave.
my app permits to the users select multiple DWG files, inserting them into a MSHFLEXGRID.
After this the user can select a DWT file and store in a matrix (PC) all its AcadPlotConfigurations.
The user can select distinct Page Layout for each DWG file selected.
Then running the code below, each file is opened in ACAD and then printed using the specific Page Layout.
This was running very good in ACAD 2002. After migrate to ACAD 2005 only the first file is printed. The others DWG files return FALSE to the PlotToDevice command.
Is it missing some command ?Does ACAD 2005 need anything extra to run ?
Obs: the DWT Page Layouts were created for MODELs and the files to be printed are using only the model space too.

I've just installed LR 3.6 on my new Wins64 laptop and it is unable to view RAW files from my Canon 5D Mark1. This is working fine on my Win32 PC though. It looks like I need to install Camera Raw 5.2 or later but I can only file 'Update' downloads which fail to install. LH says it's up-to-date when I check for updates and theres no Plug-In Extras available..
Our CAD operator is attempting to print batches of DWG files from within AutoCAD 2010 LT, but every time that he does a batch of jobs, only half or less of the jobs actually print, while the rest leave his queue and then display in the printer status as 'Canceled.' This only occurs for color prints. The same batches of jobs in black and white print fine. Also, if we take the same data and convert it to a single PDF and send only that one PDF as a color print job, it prints. On the printer side, the DWG jobs are marked as 'Deleted' with an explanation of "Insufficient accounting allocation," which refers to the printing limits that we have assigned our users for the printer. However, the user is not over his limit, and any non-CAD job prints without any problems. I checked with our printer company but they think it's an issue with the software. Is there a known issue with AutoCAD 2010 LT failing to print batches of color drawings?
I created the attached parametrized CF Flange iPart (one can change size, bored/blank, tapped/through, fixed/rotatable). I wanted to extract the cross-section sketches as iFeatures, so that I can reuse it also as sketches. I can extract the "Cross Section (Fixed)" sketch as an iFeature, but not "Cross Section (Rotatable)". I created this iPart file about half a year ago, and as far as I remember I created these two sketches in exactly the same way.
I have gone thru what appears to be the correct steps in creating a custom material library a total of 3 times.
Once I finish customizing the library while in Inventor, I add it to my project file and make it the "active" library. I test it with each of my part & assembly templates on my local machine without an issue. When I log into another work station, locate and add the new library to their project file Inventor gives me a "no materials found". So I go back to my machine to check and the library is no longer valid for me either.
I can see the library on the server, the file size is 3.6MB so it has substance. I cannot figure out what I am doing that is causing the library from locking up completely when I try to use it with another work station. Also, if any way to make my library usable again that would save me about 8 hours of work.
all of our stations use the "generic.ipj" project file.
Just when I thought I was getting somewhere I come to a complete standstill. I'm attempting to insert an iFeature, louver to be exact. I inserted the one from cbliss easily and was able to edit the width, length, thickness etc. but had trouble trying to change angles. I later tried inserting one someone emailed me, so I removed the other one and now I can't insert new one and I can't even go back to insert cbliss one. Not sure what changed or what I messed up. I'm new to IV and not overly experienced in AutoCAD period.
Having issue of illustrator failing to launch. Gets as far as Initialising Fonts 90% then freezes. Reinstalling didn't resolve the problem, also made sure it was updated as much as possible. (CS5 on Mac OS X 10.7.4)
I have tried to copy a premiere pro cc project to an exernal location three times and each time the operation has failed. The first time adobe told me it couldn't locate two files and erased all of the files that had been copied and the copy folder. The second time it did the same thing. The third time it told me it couldn't locate yet another file but didn't erase it just stopped running the operation and left the copy folder half completed. All of the files it is claiming to not be able to locate are linked fine inside of the timeline and it exports fine.
i'm trying to do is copy some linework in a sketch i have on autocad 2011 (i havent upgraded it yet) and paste it into a sketch i have on inventor 2013.
Copy and paste works fine with other versions of inventor or autocad, but i can't use 2013 inventor for pasting.
When i attempt to paste the linework into my 2013 inventor sketch i recieve a long hefty error message:
"String resource could not be loaded (and is missing?) for id 5239 (error 2fee34a0)"
