Photoshop :: Removing Tree Branch From Photo
Dec 3, 2011I have been working on removing a tree that I photoshoped out.. the problem I have its over the top of buildings an I have been reproducing other areas of the building then reconstructing the building. I have one section that I can't really do this.
I stitched a photo together, I found another part of the image that I can use, but I need to blend it all.

Jul 7, 2012So I have this photo. I see that yes I had to snap the picture before the fawns bounded off so there is a branch there. Would it be too difficult then to remove the branch?
What tools might be used to do such a job? Also I am hearing that perhaps the discoloration is a smudge on the lens. Does that seem correct?

Feb 28, 2013I'm trying to make a piping run that at one point branches off in another direction. Basically I want to have one straight pipe, a main line, where another pipe branches off and sticks out vertically from it and goes its own way. However, I want this branching pipe to be welded to the main line, not connected with a tee fitting. Inventor won't let me create branches from within a route, and it doesn't seem to want to let me snap to the existing main line run if I create a new run for the branching pipe.

AutoCAD Inventor :: Twisted Wire Texture
Sep 10, 2013I've modeled a "twisted-in wire brush" and I'm getting graphic/model glitches. Every now and then when I zoom in on the model it becomes an abstract mess. It has something to do with the twisted wire portion of my model. It's just a simple coil (sketch: 2 circles twisted downward) feature but Inventor keeps choking.
Any twisted wire texture that perhaps I could try. I'm not quite sure how to make it myself. Plus, Inventor 2014's entire Material/Appearance library is a real dog's breakfast. What used to be be rather simple for me has become a challenge.

AutoCAD Inventor :: Frame Generator Twisted Parts
Jan 25, 2012I am on inventor 2010. never really used the frame generator much before. so I may be doing soemthing wrong.
But I just make #d sketches, and add members as i need them.
But I have this assembly, made of I-beams and HSS. I noticed eventually some parts will get twisted.
(Not really sure when and why it happens. I Usually notice just by chance.)
The only way I found to correct the problem is to delete the member and re-add it.
3ds Max Modeling :: Loft Generated Meshes Getting Twisted In All Directions
Dec 15, 2011I'm trying to create a "wipeoutish" track using splines. In fact, the track itself is generated by a tool and I want to use it in 3dsMax to create the environment.
So i'm importing the spline into 3dsMax, create a template spline and use "Loft" or "Sweep" to extrude the model along the track. But whereas everything works if my track is perfectly planar, I get some crazy stuffs if there's even the slightest change in the Z axis.
I've tried disabling Contour (then the track is horizontal but there are problems at each turns) and Banking but I can't seem to be able to get a perfectly horizontal track using this way.
Is there a way to force the normal of the generated Track to be vertical ? (get the green track over the spline used by the blue track ...)

Oct 4, 2011I drew a very funky bracket in IV 2012. I tried using the sheet metal features but they wouldn't cooperate with the funky geometry. I ended up having to draw to sketch profiles, lofting to create a thin feature, and thickning it to material thickness. But this left me without any real bends that the unfold tool can recognize. I tried using the unfold tool (I know that's not what it's for) but it gave me some very funky geometry. I tried ripping out the lofted bends, which worked great, but that leaves me with twisted edges that the bend tool can't grab. how to either model this using the sheetmaetal tools, or how to make this thing unfold?

I want to remove the house from the photo, would it be easier to select the tree and put it on a different layer or select the house and remove it. ? What is the best way to select a tree like this? I have read that the pen tool is not the correct way to select trees and leaves.

Jul 13, 20061. I'm not very satisfied with the snow in the trees, i've tried many filters and finally used "replace color" on the greenish parts of the trees with luminosity at 100%. I've compared with real snow covered trees and they are completely white, i guess that i should somehow "paint" them but i don't know a lot about how to achieve a realistic snow effect with the brushes (without degrading too much the original trees either...)
2. The icy sea is taken from another photo i found on the web (probably antarctica). It seemed to blend nicely when i was working on the retouching but when i opened the project 2 days later i thought that the colors of the two photos didn't blend *that* nicely Is there a "scientific" way to harmonize the colors of two photos, so that they can fit well together? (i'm prepared to hear that there's no recipe for that!)
(seemed to me that the blending of colors is top priority but perhaps something else is jumping even more at your eyes).

Jan 26, 2013PS CS6 and Win7/64...We just finished shooting a 3 day conference for 600 people, that involved many break-out sessions. Our folder tree of all the finished TIFFs is organized by day, then by topic, and then by break out. All in all there are 75 folders in the tree, with close to 700 TIFFs.
The client wants both hi-res and lo-res JPGs (not the TIFFs).I have a very simple droplet that will convert a TIFF to JPG, but works only on a given folder, and outputs to a generic folder (so I have to copy these back).
Is there a way to create a droplet that will
(a) walk the source tree and convert the TIFFs of each folder to JPG, as well as
(b) Have PS create a matching tree to deposit the JPGs into the corresponding folders?
I know there's an option to include all folders when doing the conversion, but (b) is the critical element so I don't have to do this in a folder-by-folder basis.

1) i have to deal with images of various sizes. What do I need to do to be able to have everyone's head cut out in an exact circle such that I can move them all around and they are the same size? I tried using the marquee tool but it made a different circle each time, more of an ellipse (hence the name of the tool I suppose).
2) does anyone know where I can get a picture of a tree that I can attach everyone's head to? how do I use that as my background? is that the same as adding a layer and having it as the bottom layer?
