I am starting a class this semester which is essential photoshop basics, my instructor has given us some tutorials to "play" with and get comfortable and told us to us use "stock" images from the net.
My question is this , where can I get free stock images of female models posing in various styles (nothing of an offensive nature) ? I am going to attempt a very basic fantasy art work using "light and darkness" or "good and evil" that sort of thing as the theme.
With other GIS software, ESRI and Manifold, I can get images for an area using online sources.I understand someone wrote the tools to make that happen, but can this be done for Map too?
So I don;t want to download images first, then pull into acad, I want them to download straight from GE. URL....
When i type in the Geomap command, i get the option for Aerial, Hybrid, Road, off. No matter which selection i make, the imagery will not load. I go to someone elses machine and open the same drawing, the imagery loads.Am i missing a setting somewhere?
We have a map created for our city with all our utilites, zoning, etc. plotted out and we have some very old aerial imagery attached to it.
Just a few months ago, Pictometry flew some new hi-res imagery for me. I have individual ortho tiles and one large ortho-mosaic. When I try to install the imagery, it doesn't line up anywhere close to where it should be on the map. How can I go about getting my imagery and my map lined up?
How can I place a Google imagery file in my model. Suppose I have a model in revit [2013] can I create something beneath the model and place Google imagery on it.
I have a local drive that multiple people have access to and has hundreds of georeferenced images on it. I have an AutoCAD drawing with a shapefile of all the imagery frames with object data attached to the frames. There is way too many images to have them all in the drawing and causes the drawing to be slow and sometimes crash. What I want to do is be able to select the frame or frames of the images I want to import based on the object data frame name and import them. Where do I start?
where does everyone go to get stock images they need? ive been using DA for a while, but without a subscription there is no search function, and sifting through all the crap takes a long time.
The first time I ever tried out Adobe stock photos through Bridge, The intro page says something along the lines of "enter keywords above to start searching". But there WAS no search bar 'above' nor anywhere else on the screen. I thoght I was losing my mind.
Next time I opened it up, there was the search bar, right up top! Found a great stock photo without any trouble.
As I'm using it more (or trying to) I find that at least half of the time the search bar does not appear. Sometimes opening a new window or restarting bridge fixes it, sometimes not.
Suddenly today I have noticed that there are literally hundreds of stock photos mixed up with my own. I can't see where they are filed, so cannot delete the folder. Is there any way of getting rid of them from both Elements organiser and my hard disk other than one at a time?
I noticed that when I try to paint with the brush (with a smaller brush between 1-4pxs) I can't see the cursor that shows me where I'm drawing. I don't have the best eyes but when I wear my glasses while on the PC my eyes get real tired, is there a way to change this cursors color and/or size?
Im wanting to recreate a cloud vector from a stock image site. Unfortunately i'm rubbish with vectors and have no use making anything like this version.
does VS X4 come with the same revo stock templates that came with VS X3??? I have both and never installed past VS X2 --- My computer recently shut down during an electrical storm and started up with some Windows boot errors.... I had to restore my computer back to day 1, but fortunately I didn't lose ANY data!! I do need to reinstall all my programs though.... I was going to install X2 as I'm used to it... and skip over X3 and go right to X4 --- just want to be sure that it came with the same content as those revo stock templates look interesting!!
Also hope I can get all the add-on transition packages working again.... canopus vfx, hollywood fx, adorage, boris factory, burger transitions and new blue..
good news is I can get rid of all the junk on my computer and clean up.... bad news is, it will take me a few days to get it back to the way it was.I know there were some issues with X3 and the dvd authoring module... have they been fixed in X4? Does it work similar to X2??

I'm trying to fill out a sheet stock list in paperspace. What is the trick to get the new text object located in the proper place? When I run the attached code, the text always is located at 0,0,0. Is there an offset I need to apply?
In the stock ribbon, some of the panels fly out when you roll over them, some you have to click to get them to fly out. How do you set this? I have created some custom panels but they all require a click to fly out.
Is there any way to get the BOM to merge using something other than the Part Number. It seems as though it is the only option for merging the rows. I would like to use the stock number as the key.
In the I properties project tab I would like to change the "Stock Number" name to "A.R.M.-PN:". I need to reference 2 part numbers in my IPT I properties. This will then show up on the Parts List as a column which I can add. Or I would like to add a new dialog box to the "Project Tab". Is there a easy way to do this in 2011 Inventor Professional?
I went out with our GPS and shot each of our stock piles we have in our yard (recycle asphalt, 3/4" gravel, 1" gravel, etc.), and now I want to figure out how much of each pile we have
So what I did was create a seperate surface for each pile, then I created a volume surface for each as well and just set the base and compare surface as the existing, that wat was I can get the total sq ft of each pile, but now I want to figure out how much yards of material are in each pile
Would I need to set up a materials list for each on to calc how much are in each pile according to what type of material they are?
Is there any want to retain the clipping paths from certain stock photos (or any images which include paths) within either CorelDraw or Photo-Paint? Sure I can create my own or use the cutout tool, but sometimes it's nice to simply use what's already there.
I'm trying to come up with a way to automate the filling of the stock number field in the iproperties for different sheet metal rules. Currenlty I have linked the name of the rule to the description field using the =<Sheet Metal Rule>. So using that varible is out.
A quick solution was to make custom materials for all of the stock numbers and then link that to the sheet metal rule using the material box. This will work except I need to show material name on the parts list.
If only each sheet metal rule had its on iproperties, this would be so easy.
I would really like to put some text in the part that links to the iproperties so I can emboss the stock number on the parts. It never fails that you create a new part, then forget to change the text. This would save a ton of time and re-plots.
using Xara to make cartoons and illustrations for sale on microstock sites such as Dreamstime, Fotolia etc. Would the files produced by Xara be acceptable for these sites? (they seem to be fairly heavily biased towards illustrator, as far as I could make out). And is it worth trying to make a few bucks this way, or is the market already oversaturated?
I am trying to turn on the stock number field under customizable fields within vault, however stock number is not an option...has this always been the case?
