My problem is that the "code" to my email is never received. Where is it? We've tried checking if there is a blocker on my computer.

May 7, 2005i recieved a prom pic from my daughter and i was going to print it and frame it, but 2 things happend.
The first one was that when i tried to print it it said it was tooooooo big 40inx60in so i resized it to 8.5x11 and it got very blurry, after about an hour i figured out how to get it sharp again (by accident) and forgot how i did it DOH!!! It was some kind of compairson with 4 of the same photo and resizeing the file from 9.5M to about 400kb and actualy adding some blur.
The next problem is when i printed it, it was so washed out it looked like an old 70's poloroid but on screen it looks great. Now I've read the color settings section but i think i might have set some settings wrong [U]and i don't think i fully understand what i'm reading . I know there are settings to either let photoshop take care of the printing or let the printer.Personaly i think i would like to let photoshop do it that way any email's or photo's i shoot will have a common baseline. The printer i'm using is an hp psc 2410 and the camera is a minolta dimage7i, is this a good camera / printer. I'm in adobe rgb(1998) mode and i think i saw somwhere in the printer software to choose between adobe rgb or the hp printer.Do these have to match.
Put simply how can i print it the way i see it on screen

Photoshop :: Zoom Settings Lost In Adobe PS
Aug 16, 2008I compare photos a lot. I usually zoom in 100% or more on a particular part of the photo that for example is in the middle of the image. However, as soon I press Ctrl-F6 to jump to another image, my zoomed position gets reset to the top left corner.
Is there a way to keep the place where you've last zoomed in even if you jump between windows within Photoshop ?

Jun 9, 2012Trying to send photo by email attachment or photo email.
Had previously done the verification code thing and got the code and have been sending pics by photo email.Have got PS10 loaded to my Desk Top - main system and also my laptop .When trying now to send pics on my DeskTop I can get to the (maybe second) screen where you choose the size of the phots and then I get the Verification Code screen - which tells me that an 'initial verification code' will be emailed to the chosen email - but when I say continue, I go to the next screen of the Photo email and then when trying to send the phto email it locks up and says an unexpected error has taken place ...
I have sent some photos via the laptop but it seems to be very hit and miss at the moment.Also I have some problems opening PSE10 - When I click on the icon - I get the initial "organise or edit" screen where I choose organise - but then all that happens is this screen closes and the Organiser does not open. Most of the time I'm left with maybe shutting down my whole computer and starting up again and it works again.

Jul 12, 2013I like the openness and ability to click my desktop behind the image I'm working on. I know how to turn it off, but how do I KEEP it off? Every time I close and reopen photoshop it's back on, and I saved my workspace to see if that would result in any changes but it didn't. Didn't ever run into this issue on CS6.

May 17, 2008I have a jpg image that has an area of the image blocked with a white box where you cannot see the pixels beneath it, however in a thumbnail of the picture, in a regular windows folder, the white box is gone and you can see the entire picture and no white box.
I have tried everthing that I can think of in PS, but can't seem to find anyway to remove the white box to see all of the pixels.
AutoCAD 2010 :: Spam BAK Files

This recently started happening to my bak files. They are no longer just ".bak" they have these numbers and underscores added to them. Just thought it was a one time deal. I was wrong. Now it is happening to almost every file i touch. Not only is it creating about 7 of them, now these numerical jumbled bak files are appearing in folders where they do not pertain.
Note: I call them "spam bak files" because when i delete them and resave my drawing, they save as a regular bak file.

Mar 23, 2013The margins don't work and you have to enter all the parameters if you are printing multiple photos.
No matter what margins you enter, the utility ignores them. I need to CENTER a document on both sides of a piece of brochure paper in order to create a personalized greeting card. This program puts the document on the left - turn the page over, and the card does not match. I would have to cut the paper to size and then set up paper sizes for the printer. The other solution would be to make the document letter size and center the card on that. What a waste of time.
I used to get perfect prints on an HP 2600N Laser Printer just by using no color management. Now I don't. Also, if you are printing 2 photographs (or 2 sides of the card) you have to close the program, re-open the program, get the 2nd photograph and reset the margins and the printer specs. What a bother!
I don't know why you just can't put the 'no color management' back into photoshop (unless you are being paid by printing companes not to do so.)

Apr 19, 2012I downloaded an image of a web template to look at the colours more closely before possibly purchasing it and when I opened the image in CS4 it had a bunch of triangular blocked out areas - kind of like a mask of some sort I think. I then tried creating a new document and opening an existing, unrelated PSD file and now they have the same triangular blocked out areas.

AutoCad :: Add Attribute To Non-blocked Entity
Mar 6, 2011Can you add an attribute to a non-blocked entity? Basically, I want to "name" plines.
In case I'm going about this wrong, let me ask the question another way. I'm just getting used to the wonders of attributes & data extraction (I love it!). Right now I have blocks with attributes that I use data extraction to count. I also need some way to calculate length. These blocks represent electrical devices - then I need to calculate the amount of wire used to connect the devices.
So now I use a pline to join the devices, get the length of that polyline, and then manually enter that length into the spreadsheet from the data extraction. But...I'm thinking if I can link an attribute to a pline, then I can include that in the data extraction and automate it. But I don't see how I can use a block for this, since the pline will be completely variable and needs to be "custom-fit" for each circuit.
Premiere Pro :: CS6 Crashes After PC Wakes Up From Sleep / 2nd Monitor Blocked By Preview
Oct 7, 2013When I work on a project in PremierePro CS6 v6.0.5 and put my PC to sleep, Premiere crashes almost every time I boot up Windows again. There is no error number or anything, just a window saying that PP does not work and I only have the option to close PP. So I basically have to quit Premiere every time and load up the project again when I continue working on it, which can take some time if this is a long project.
This also happens with other PC I could test this on. This is happening since the very first version of PP CS6. I had a chance to test PP CS5.5 on this issue and this was not a problem their. I was testing with Win7.
I already submitted this bug quite a while ago, but all the updates did not solve this problem.
There is also another bug I noticed related to the second monitor preview in PP CS6, that also is not getting addressed for quite some time. When using a dual monitor setup the full screen preview on the second monitor does not minimize if I minimize PP by clicking on the PP icon in the taksbar. If I use the minimize button in the PP window (top right) the preview on the second monitor stays in the background as it should. Also if PP is minimized and I am working with another application (reading a PDF or surfing the web fo example) the PP full screen preview appears after a while on its own and blocks the second monitor. So I have to go to the PP window and back the the application I want to work in in order to get rid of the preview monitor being blocked.Here you can see what I mean: [URL]
This issue has also been tested on other machines with Win7 and they all had this problem. This two issues are obviously not related to my setup because I can reproduce them on other machines.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Solid Model Of IPT Or IAM Made To Show Blocked Edges
Feb 23, 2012I would like to be able to export from an Inventor .dwg or .idw made up of various views (either made from an Inventor .ipt or .iam) to an AutoCAD 2000 or later .dwg, and have the objects modeled in the Inventor .ipt/.iam that is shown in these views to already be shown as blocked entities when the AutoCAD .dwg is created. Also it is important to have the scale be exactly 1:1 from the Inventor drawing to the AutoCAD drawing that is created, so that no resizing/scaling is necessary. Is it possible to create such an AutoCAD 2D drawing from any release of Inventor and if so, what are the steps/procedure for making it???
I know that the solid model of an .ipt or .iam can be made to show blocked edges that appear as a block so why not two steps further and have this capability translate through to an .ipt or .iam Inventor drawing to a save copy as AutoCAD drawing???
Photoshop :: Adobe CS6 Freezes After Improve Adobe's Products Dialog
Jun 1, 2013I had Photoshop CS6 installed and working on my Mac using Adobe Creative Cloud. However now a dialog appears that says "Help Improve Adobe's Product". Regardless if I approve this dialog or not Adobe Photoshop starts up with every menu option grayed and I can do nothing. I have to force quit the application. At this point it is 100% unusable.
I've googled it and seen others with a similar issue but no solutions found. I have OSX 10.8.3.
Others with similar issues. URL....No real solution other than don't use Mac Keeper (which I do not) URL....

May 7, 2009Product: CS4 64 bit: Adobe Output Module-Adobe updater downloads 2 updates 75.9mb (Camera Raw 5.3). After download and permission to continue under user account control, I receive popup menu advising me that Installation Incomplete, close Adobe Bridge - 3 choices, which always fail. My Adobe CS4 and Bridge are not open. I tried this several times with the same result.I downloaded the zip file, saved, unzip, and still get the same notice - close Bridge.

I'm printing to an Epson R1800 printer.
Print. Choose Color Management. Choose Document. Choose "Photoshop manages color". Choose the correct printer profile that matches the paper I'm using. Choose Relative Colorimetric.
THEN, I click Print Settings...under the 4th drop downu I choose "Print setting..." again. Under "Basic" "color" and "Color settings" are grayed out as are some of the "Media Type" options.
Is this normal? The problem is my black and white prints are printing really badly. They have color tones. I've cleaned the nozzles on my Epson printer, done everything the print utility suggests. All the test prints look fine.

May 2, 2012I’m a long time Photoshop user but recently picked up LR4 to try to fine tune my workflow. I’ve noticed that after importing new files (RAW, I haven’t tried with jpg) into my library as I scroll through them (1-up, not in grid) the preview comes up and then after a second or so the WB changes to a much colder image.
Does LR4 initially preview at specific settings and then change to the individual image settings? Even if so, the final images seem very cool and I feel like I have to up the temp more than I should have to. My previous workflow was to sort in Bridge and then use ACR to import to Photoshop. I feel like I did much less tweaking of my WB this way. I feel like I’m starting from square one with LR4.
