Photoshop :: Reduce Glare?
Aug 8, 2004trying to reduce the amount of glare in this picture of my car. The picture will be used in a calendar so I need it to look professional. I tried getting rid of the glare spots by using the healing brush, smudge, and blur tools, but I'm clueless when it comes to the white spots. I tried using a black fill with opacity set to 8, and that helped a little bit. I'm attaching the original and the modified versions, but if anyone wants the high res version to edit it,

Dec 10, 2013Back in the early 80's I had an exhibition of my paintings and took photos from an Olympus OM-10. Each painting had a spotlight mounted above it and as you can see from the attached picture, the light glare is strong at the top of the painting (washing out the color and details) and the glare extends about halfway down the photo. I have Photoshop CS3 Extended. how to eliminate the glare from the top half of the painting?

Jan 18, 2012I'm completing an ad for a bakery and the image of a cupcake that I'm trying to use wasn't done in a whitebox, hence alot of glare on the lefthand part of the image. It's washed out the pink frosting into an almost white color and the strawberries are not saturated in color. Is there something I can do to get rid of the white spot and make the image look as if it was shot professionally in a white box?

Jun 8, 2011I am trying to edit some pictures that a customer of mine has taken. They are of silver utensils wrapped with beads and the way she has taken them, there is a huge shine reflection on them. There are 25 current pictures all using the same dark background.
I have fiddled with the adjustment brightness and highlights, but they come out looking gray and fake, so I removed those adjustments.
I tried using burn the bright spots and then dodge the coloured stones to bring back some luster. No matter what i am doing, it no longer is a silver utensil, it is a picture that has been poorly edited, and that simply isn't okay.

I need to reduce the glare/reflection and the stones need to be vibrant.
AutoCAD 2013 :: Hide Situation - Missing Geometry
Jun 6, 2012I'm having a recurring issue with using hide situation. Steps are detailed below and an example file is attached.
Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit SP1
Sketched all the geometry.Used hide situation to hide the portion of the fittings that reside within the clamps.Copied the clamps and fitting ends to each end of an elbow.Had an issue with item selection and used the audit command on the drawing. Following this the audit says there is a problem with the program and I should restart.
Restarted the program and any line that was effected by the hide situation is now missing.Attempted to open the backup file and the hide situation lines are also missing.
This has happened multiple times with different drawings, but the effect is always the same, all the hide situation data is now missing and I've lost a significant amount of work. The AM_3 layer created by hide situation is still there, but has no geometry.

Aug 23, 2011For one of the students first projects I would want them to make a solar system. Of course there would be spheres representing planets with pivot points in the center of the system (the sun) and some would revolve slower and some faster around the sun. Now I was able to create the planets and set the pivot points in the center (the sun) and have them rotate but I'm trying to take this a step further. I really want to create moons that would circle the planets.
That's where my problems starts. I have a planet that I want a moon to revolve around. I was able to change the moons pivot point to the center of the planet but the pivot point remains there while the planet circles the sun. What I need to do is have the moons pivot point locked onto the planet that way if the planet moves, then the moon moves along with it. In this case, the moon will be rotating around the planet as the planet rotates around the sun.

Dec 18, 2011I can place a solar panel on the roof, but cannot do anything with it. When I try to tilt it from upright, it turns yellow and says "cannot rotate" . Been stuck on this problem for a week now, and am quite frustrated as you can imagine. Have tried every trick that I and others have suggested to no effect. Seems to be constrained to one of my vertical reference lines. Reference line is listed as the "host", but it's greyed out, so I can't change it. Tried to disassociate from reference line, but can't.
Went in to "family" and noticed that there's and extrusion underneath the panel (invisible when placing the panel). Don't know what it's there for, or if this has anything to do with it. I can't delete or modify it.
I've also tried to create my own solar panel, but can't figure out how to save it as "my own" family.
I simply want to tilt the panel back about 35 degrees. I've tried to tilt it in all different views. Sometimes I can get it to tilt along the wrong axis, never on the one I want it to. Is there any way I can create my own panel with a sketch program, import it into Revit, and save it as a component?

Here is the situation. We have a large 100 acre site that is not flat. We want to do minimal grading to "smooth out the surface". So that maximum slope on the site is 10%. The site does not have to be graded completely flat. We are trying to work with the existing contours and terrain as much as possible.
Is there some functiion or some way for Civil 3D to "smooth out a surface"? We want to work with the existing slopes and contours of the site and just need a grading plan that will smooth out mounds, holes, or high slope areas.

May 13, 2004I have a photo that was taken outside. It has some glare from the sun. Is there any way to remove the lines. It is the only photo that we took standing like that outside, and my roommate and his newlywed wife probably would like this picture. In the photo below I would like to remove the sun glare 'spots' you can see on the rear wheel arch (plus a few smaller ones also), but when I try to colour that area it never blends nicely with the rest of the paintwork.
