Feb 20, 2009a way I can print out my action list (that is in the panel).
I have downloaded some 2x even 3x and I have a lot.
I need to see it on paper and highlight what needs to be deleted.

Apr 28, 2009I have a new printer and recently upgraded to PS4 from PS2.in PS2 I could run a batch action on a folder of thumbs sheets and they would all print... not it stops at the print dialog box... any suggestions? I have to create the action in PS2 as PS4 was not cooperating.

Mar 9, 2009I have two printers, so when I'm batch printing I run an action which I recorded, one step of which does a Print Setup to select the correct (normally non-default) printer.
If I've done this manually once then all is well, but if I forget to do it then Photoshop will GPF when I run the action.

Nov 29, 2008I have CS4 on a Windows platform, as a trial. I wanted to see if the printing issues that keep me from using CS3 in production were solved before I bought it.
Pretty much right out of the chute, I ran into problems. I use actions to get photos formatted to print. The action at the end, it calls Print (in CS2 was called Print with Preview). This Print step is done with modal control to allow different printers or settings to selected.
This action works fine in CS2 and in CS3. In CS4, the print comes out as a negative image. I have deleted the step from the action and re-recorded it in CS4, still comes out as an negative. Interestingly, if I use a CS2 Print command (not the new Print Preview version) in the action, then it works fine. The problem is extremely repeatable in different action or to different printers. If I disable the print step in the action and just print it without the action, it works fine.
Photoshop :: Printing 2000 Images On 100 A3 / Record Action?
Nov 6, 2013I'm working in Cs5 and I need to speed up my working process. So I have about 2000 images that I wanna print. I'm going to print them on A3 and on each A3 page I want to have 21 images. So it's a very simple process of just minimizing the pictures and putting them side by side, but almost 2000 pictures.

Dec 3, 2012I have 900 files I need to print out. I created an action that simply prints the current document, then closes it. The problem is, photoshop is printing the files out in random order. The files are numerically ordered, it should print in order.
I go to File -> Automate -> Batch and select the printing action that I recorded and set the folder that contains the image files. The image files are all labeled numerically from the data set merge I did within photoshop.
The problem is, even though this list is in numerical order, photoshop will print these out in random order. For example, the file folder containing the image files is listed below in correct order.
Instead photoshop printed them in this order: CustomMailer_Data Set 1, CustomMailer_Data Set 10, CustomMailer_Data Set 11, CustomMailer_Data Set 12, CustomMailer_Data Set 13, CustomMailer_Data Set 14, CustomMailer_Data Set 16
I really need this bulk action to print them out in order, what the program is doing.
Lightroom :: Keyword List Missing In Action?
Oct 11, 2012I was keywording several groups of photos, and as I started to click on another word from my list after selecting another group of photos, my list had disappeared. The panel is expanded, no words appear and I am not sure what I did wrong. Keywords are still associated with photos in my library, but the list is gone. how to get my list back?
I had just downloaded and installed v4.2 but the list was there for a few selections.

Jul 9, 2013In Civil 3D 2013, in the Toolbox tab, I go to Report Manager, and select the Points_List, which then creates an HTML file.
I open it up in Chrome and when I print it, part of the point information at the bottom of Page 1 is cut off and shows up at the top of Page 2.
Is there a way to fix this?

Export LandXML is currently is currently not supporting the following drawing units:
Millimeters, Centimeters, Decimeters, Inches.
I have used the unit command to make sure I am in feet. Niot sure what else to look at.

Nov 27, 2012I have created an assembly that has a parts list, and in this parts list I have up to 100 mono detail drawings. I would like to know if there is a way to print all of these drawing from that list in a massive plot.
At my previous company we had something like this in AutoCAD where a script was created to look at the drawings and print all drawings mentioned in the assembly BOM and subsequent sub-assemblies, it worked beautifully.
I find that I have to print all drawings to paper or PDF individually.

Oct 2, 2006i have an image that is 28' wide by 60' high. i have to tile print it, but i have to print it out on film (see thru acetate). it has to be able to print at 1400 dpi. i know how to print at 1400 dpi on adobe photoshop, but i dont know how to tile print on that program. i have the image now in illusrtator, because it lets me tile, but i cant get it to print out for film (1400 dpi). im using a epson 1280 printer.
i really need to be able to tile print this in high resolution on film. anyone know what i can do??

3ds Max :: Shader List (Volume) Duplicates Last Item In List
Nov 4, 2011I use a setup with Shader List (Volume) with two mists. One regular and one to blur out the horizon. After working on the scene for some time I notice that the shader list now contains eight copies of the last shader. I think I would remember if I did that. So, whats up with the shader list?

Jul 11, 2007i am trying to build an action where the end product is a channel listing that has all the channel (R-G-B-L-C-Y-M-K (forget LAB a-b)). this will allow me to look at all the channels for contrast and subsequent extraction. i'm actually able to do this as i RECORD the action. but when i RUN the action, nothing happens.
in recording the action, i create a DUPLICATE IMAGE, then convert the new image to LAB. i then drag the "L" channel to the original image. it goes into the original image as an alpha channel which i rename to "Lightness." i then convert the duplicate image to CMYK and then one-by-one DRAG the individual channels to the original image. at the end of this process, i have all eight channels visible in the channels palette. this is what i want.
but then, when i RUN the action on a new image, the action fails to RECORD the "drag step and drop" step. the "L," "C," etc. channels are not dragged during the running of the action.
why does the "drag" step not record in the action
Photoshop :: CS6 Action (Save As A Jpg) Despite Other Format Save As In Action?
May 8, 2013 needs to overlay a grid over a photo and then save it as another file. In CS5.5 or earlier, no problem, but in CS6 it is not working for either of us.
The batch action (run from either Photoshop or Bridge) stops and prompts at the Save command every time no matter what format we save it in (psd, png, jpg, save for web, etc.).
I have been through the Web and the Adobe Forums and cannot find a work around for this. He cannot just hit enter everytime the popup window comes up because he has over 2700 photos to put this grid on.

I have no interest in saving the template, or the collection separately, since neither has any use without the other. And without saving them as one finished item, I have no way to convert the colour profile of that item. I can see clearly from the appearance of the print preview that the above mentioned colour profile conversion is required.

Nov 1, 2006Hue/Saturation and Brightnesss/Contrast are steps in my Action. I always pause the action so that i can put in unique paramenters for each image. But before i get to the actual H/S or B/C action, a "New Layer" dialogue box pops up first. I never name the new layer so this is a wasted dialogue. is there a way to skip this step and pause only in the H/S or B/C step itself? I am trying to streamline my workflow by eliminating useless steps.

Jul 23, 2013I have a photoshop file with several layers...about 100. I want to put each layers into it's own group. The name of the group must be the same as the name of the layer.
I tried creating an action to do this but it did not work right. It only works for one layer selected individually. If I select multiple layers, then it forms nested groups. How do I create this action? I am using adobe photoshop cs6 ( I think) , windows 7.
