When I print sections of Help, italicized words become jumbled and intelligible. They are usually "Note" paragraphs which are normally significant information. Both printing to my default printer and a PDF creation program have failed.
View 3 Replies I was trying this Printing Merge many times. I noted that I could run the Printing Merge only with English Words because when I tried other languages such as Chinese and Khmer. Most of my words became error, so I really couldn't use it as needed. Is the Printing Merge used only with English?
On the contrary, I used to use the Printing Merge in MS Word. It works with all languages. I want to use the Printing Merge in Coreldraw 12 beside English.
when I try to add or edit text (in this case, as the screenshot shows, Franklin Gothic Heavy)-- It always adds a 'slight' italicized format to the text.
As you can see, the 'font style' drop down menu is greyed out.
Currently working on a PowerPoint styled animation.I've parented the source text of 5 text layers to 1 text layer so I can easily alter the text. It is essential that I have 5 identically texted layers.
My requirement isn't much: To assign colors to individual words without having to separate those words into different layers.
I have an image sized 20" x 24". I just have a standard 8.5" x 11" printer. Can I print the image in sections? If so, how?I did this with a PDF document once.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been asked to produce a timeline to be printed 110cm deep by 410cm wide and wall mounted on Foamex.
The time line will be made up of individual panels - one for each year. 2010 / 2011 / 2012 / 2013 / 2014...
The reason for each year to be printed as a separate panel is to prevent 2013 being plonked on the end of previous years - hope that makes sense! (Each panel will be a summary of the year.)
Ideally I would like to design the timeline with a flowing background graphic so I would need to create the main background as one, then exactly crop each year panel to print individually.
What I'm unsure on is how best to crop each year including bleeds ect so when butted uptogether the design looks seamless.
I used some white rectangles to change the shape of black letters on a white background. Now I want this combination of letters & rectangles to be just letters when I select them etc. (make the white rectangles blend with the background and still have the shape they left on the letters) How can I do that?
View 29 Replies View RelatedI'm having in CS6..I have a text block with a couple of styles in it (headings have one look, body copy has another). Here and there, some words are on bold. When I select some bold words and change the color of them, some other bold words in some other paragraph also change color. Not all bold words... just some. The behavior is unpredictable, so the exact words that get changed will vary, but once it starts to happen it won't stop. When I try to manually fix the other words (hopefully I noticed them before my client!) and change them back to black, sometimes that change reverses the color on the original words too. Sometimes not; it's like the effect is sometimes two-way and sometimes one-way. It becomes a real logic puzzle sometimes, a maddening game where every change affects something else and you can't find the combination of actions that will do the simple thing you want.
I haven't noticed it happening with non-bold text, but that could just be coincidence.
When this happens, the only fix seems to be to rebuild the text from scratch in a new text box. (Copying it all and re-pasting it does not seem to work—unless possibly I paste into a different document entirely.)
I take high school sports photos using a Canon 7D camera, that can take about 9 pictures per second, which is great for capturing events. I've noticed with several versions of Photoshop Elements (9 &11), on Win 7 Pro 32 AND Win 7 Pro 64 versions (on multiple computers) that when I use Get Photos & Videos|From Camera or Card Reader, then in the photo downloader dialog box, use the Rename Files option, that my picture files get renamed in jumbled fashion. Not all pictures are jumbled, but many. If I have files on my Canon such as DIG001.jpg, DIG002.jpg, DIG003.jpg, DIG004.jpg, they may be renamed as RenameFilename001.jpg (which is acutally DIG001.jpg), RenameFilename002.jpg (which is actually DIG003.jpg), RenameFilename003.jpg (which is actually DIG002.jpg), RenameFilename004.jpg (which is actually DIG004.jpg) - in this case original picture files 2 & 3 have been reversed. This is very confusing when reviewing a photo sequence that is renamed into an out of chronological order sequence (i.e. ball is hiked, ball is caught by receiver, ball is kicked, receiver runs with caught ball).
I have also confirmed that there is nothing wrong with the Canon 7D camera by taking high speed pictures of a video which is displaying video frame numbers. I can confirm that the files as stored in the camera are in the direct chronological order as taken (i. e. 001, 002, 003, 004, etc.). When I then download these pictures from the camera using Photoshop Elements 11, they are not all in chronological order (some are, some aren't).
I don't know if this is a bug in the program or there is something else I need to do to assure the pictures are imported in exact chronological order (as taken by the camera).
I have 36 different circular names that I need to input into a document, but every time I try to edit the field on a circular path, the letters get all jumbled... What can I do to keep the letters on the path when I edit them?
View 14 Replies View Relatedi'm making a newsletter in which there are pages which has to written in malayalam. i use charmap (Start>Run>Charmap). in that i make a sentence by selecting each letters.. Charmap has its own text field where the written text is displayed. from that text field i've to copy paste it to corel draw's text field.
Now the problem is whenever i paste it on corel draw's text field, the letters come a bit jumbled up. i've noticed that the vowels get jumbled up. but when i paste it on ms word, it comes as it is.
Student had installed 2012 version and the text is all jumbled up in the status bar. He has been using the program though. On occasion, says he also sees it affecting option bar. See attached.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWe have several similar installation in our office, but I am the only one with this problem. All of the annotative text on drawings is unreadable because it is jumbled - in this case Helvetica. We have upgraded clean install from AutoCad 2010 to 2014 - no luck. We reinstalled all of the fonts in both the system and AudtoCad (TrueType and SHX files) - no luck. Changing size or scale - no luck. I have not seen this specific issue before and don't have font issues in any other program.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm creating a catalog, using data merge in InDesign CS5.5 for the first time. I'm using dummy data to start, naming the products with a naming convention Product 1, Product 2, etc.
Everything seemed to be working, but then I noticed that the merge is all jumbled, such as:
Page 1 has Product 15 repeated, with the product description, price and other information from product 6. This repeats five times down the first page.Page 2 starts with Product name, price and number for Product 7, but the description for product 6. Continuing on page 2, everything seems one off. Product names mixed with data from the next product. Page 3-15 are the same as page 1, all Product 15 with the description for Product 6.
In short, this is very weird. I am saving the data in a CSV comma deliminated (also tried text with tab delineations.) I don't think there are any text breaks in the data, nor blanks. The odd thing is also that the preview looks perfect before I merge the document.

By the way, all numbers (except pupil price) relay the product number. For example, Product 1 has a price of $1.00, an item number of H1, and the description "This is product 1".
I was given this image from a client which is their outdoor sign with their logo and name. The problem is I'm not sure if there are any easy ways to get the word cut out of the image. I have been selecting each individual letter one at a time. I tried selecting the sign and do an invert but that doesn't seem to work very well, I think it's because its outdoors so there is alot of things going on.
