View 8 RepliesCurrently working on a PowerPoint styled animation.I've parented the source text of 5 text layers to 1 text layer so I can easily alter the text. It is essential that I have 5 identically texted layers.
My requirement isn't much: To assign colors to individual words without having to separate those words into different layers.
how to make room tags than can break in two words and possibly how to remove the symbol crossing of area.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI used some white rectangles to change the shape of black letters on a white background. Now I want this combination of letters & rectangles to be just letters when I select them etc. (make the white rectangles blend with the background and still have the shape they left on the letters) How can I do that?
View 29 Replies View RelatedI'm having in CS6..I have a text block with a couple of styles in it (headings have one look, body copy has another). Here and there, some words are on bold. When I select some bold words and change the color of them, some other bold words in some other paragraph also change color. Not all bold words... just some. The behavior is unpredictable, so the exact words that get changed will vary, but once it starts to happen it won't stop. When I try to manually fix the other words (hopefully I noticed them before my client!) and change them back to black, sometimes that change reverses the color on the original words too. Sometimes not; it's like the effect is sometimes two-way and sometimes one-way. It becomes a real logic puzzle sometimes, a maddening game where every change affects something else and you can't find the combination of actions that will do the simple thing you want.
I haven't noticed it happening with non-bold text, but that could just be coincidence.
When this happens, the only fix seems to be to rebuild the text from scratch in a new text box. (Copying it all and re-pasting it does not seem to work—unless possibly I paste into a different document entirely.)
I want to make this picture into the a Globe one.
here is the map but it flat one.
i want to make this map as a globe.
I saw a globe designed in half, turning around. You could see the interior with the continents visible on the in- and outside.
So it looks like a boll cut vertically in half and made hollow with the continent projected on the inside and outside.
I'm writing a coursework about banks and need to insert a picture, which shows the globe in unrealistic greenish color. Someone told me about Photoshop, that it has eyedropper and fill tools. But I really feel missing with all those complicated tools and get tired of trying to understand what is what. replace the greenish color of the globe with blue one, so it looks more like of the same color as the bottom book from the stack. The rest of the things on the pic should remain the same with their colors. URL....
View 7 Replies View RelatedYou know those fish eye lenses which can make completly 360 degress images.
How can i make a 360 effect of a normal image.
For Example:
Take this image for example - i would like to make the 360 degrees fisheye lense effect on it.
Like so - but using all the elements of the image (here i just used a fisheye lense image)
Yes i know about the liquify lense enlarge mode - but that wont do it.
In my mind i think youd atleast have to layer copy the image 4 times, rotate them facing opposite directions - then merge them cleanly and then may just maybe lense zoom them.
PS CS2, Im trying do a animation GIF on spinging globe with few lines cut across the center of globe.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've searched the forums but unable to find exactly what I'm looking for there. I'm designing an invitation to a winter themed event. I'd like to put my nonprofit's logo or the name of the event inside a snow globe. I've played with various tutorials on creating custom globes, but I think perhaps it would look best with an actual photo. There are a few nice images on istockphoto.com but prefer I waste credits, I'd like any advice on how to make my image look realistic (so the logo or text looks like it is INSIDE the globe and not on top).

Here is the original picture that I need to edit [URL] ...
I'm attempting to create a spherical globe with continents uniformily protruding from the surface (say 1 or 2 millimeters). I've given it a few tries, but every method I've used either fell short or resulted in huge distortion. There are really two signifcant hurdles, the first being etching the continents onto the globe, and the second being giving them a greater diameter than the globe.[URL]

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was given this image from a client which is their outdoor sign with their logo and name. The problem is I'm not sure if there are any easy ways to get the word cut out of the image. I have been selecting each individual letter one at a time. I tried selecting the sign and do an invert but that doesn't seem to work very well, I think it's because its outdoors so there is alot of things going on.
