Photoshop :: How Can You 360 Degress Globe Effect?
Feb 15, 2005You know those fish eye lenses which can make completly 360 degress images.
How can i make a 360 effect of a normal image.
For Example:
Take this image for example - i would like to make the 360 degrees fisheye lense effect on it.
Like so - but using all the elements of the image (here i just used a fisheye lense image)
Yes i know about the liquify lense enlarge mode - but that wont do it.
In my mind i think youd atleast have to layer copy the image 4 times, rotate them facing opposite directions - then merge them cleanly and then may just maybe lense zoom them.
Photoshop :: Snow Globe Effect?
Oct 3, 2008I've searched the forums but unable to find exactly what I'm looking for there. I'm designing an invitation to a winter themed event. I'd like to put my nonprofit's logo or the name of the event inside a snow globe. I've played with various tutorials on creating custom globes, but I think perhaps it would look best with an actual photo. There are a few nice images on istockphoto.com but prefer I waste credits, I'd like any advice on how to make my image look realistic (so the logo or text looks like it is INSIDE the globe and not on top).

AutoCad :: Create Contour Lines
Oct 19, 2010So I have finally been able to create a surface that I like and slice some 3D solids using this surface. But now I would like to draw some contour lines of that surface. I have seen some videos about creating contour lines (such as this one: URL.... ). But in this video they import the surface using the 'connect to data' button in the toolspace area. Is it possible to insert a surface from your drawing into the toolspace area and then draw the contour lines? I managed to insert the layer containing the surface using Data --> Add drawing data --> Drawing layer... but I cannot change style or create contour lines.

Jul 8, 2013I just upgraded to Civil3D 2014 and Windows 8. When I create a TIN surface using a DEM file no contour lines are displayed. Points are processed and triangles are created and can be displayed but no contour lines. Contour line layers are set to display in the style file.

Jul 28, 2011I would like to create surface from contours and extract points (with value) from on it. I had contours in my drawing; each major and minor contours are single polyline with elevation (Z value).
If I create surface form CONTOUR, some polylines (major or minor) are not included in to surface. After the creation of surface, I tried to erase the existing contour lines (Polyline) from drawing but the surface will be disappearing.
If I create the surface from ''DRAWING OBJECTS'', I'm not able to select the polylines (attachment 01) .

Aug 23, 2013I have csv file of co ordinates (x,y,z) I surveyed, I have to produce progress drawings showing stockpiles, boundary etc. , which I can do easily enough by uploading the co ordinates. I would like to include contour lines in the drawing but how to go about it. I have spent a while searching online & I'm even more confused, most discussions refer to TINs and triangulation but not sure how to go about it. I have a survey of the site survey csv file prior to any works carried out & that is what i would like to base my contour lines on. The site is relatively flat, about 4 acres in size, relatively even rectangle shape with fall of 200mm from north to south & fall of 2.5m from east to west.

"Drape" seems to be the tool ACA, but I'm wondering if AutoCAD can do something similar. LOFT sorta works, but even then, I have to do it in sections, and I'm not really looking for a solid.

Jan 29, 2013I am creating a 'How to' diagram using illustrations from a previous artist. As such I need to recreate his way of creating image gradients. He seems to do it by using only a small amount of gradient steps creating quite block like gradients. Like this: How would I go about getting my smooth gradients like this? At the moment I am creating a smooth gradient filled object, expanding it then specifying the steps in the dialogue box that then appears. But this does not really recreate the same gradient (please see as follows):So my question is how this artist has done this? As the gradients also seem to follow the contours of the object.

Jul 30, 2013I am getting an error message (see attached) when trying to create a contour roll using sheet metal, I have tried editing the sketch to open loop however I cannot get the contour roll to preview on the part.
The part is a short length of square hollow section from which I am trying to apply the roll to, there seems to be a problem in projecting the geometry on the end of the part

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Possible To Create A Specific Contour In Volume Surface
Mar 2, 2012I created surfaces in Civil 3d 2011 for existing and proposed and I did a surface volume between them. Is it possible to create a specific contour in the volume surface that represents the fill volume elevation (daylight line I think)? My proposed surface is a flood water elevation and I need to define the boundary at that elevation.

Aug 3, 2011way to create an outline contour cut for decals? Iv'e been doing this for years and it's been a headache. I have the graphic/text, duplicate it with a thick outline. Say .25". Then Convert Outline To Object. The problem I have is that if it's a complexe graphic or line of text, a number (sometimes a large number) of the nodes are broken and I have to join them. And CD sometimes adds way too many nodes. So I have to spend a long time deleting unnessesary nodes to clean it up.
Iv'e had people suggest to use the Arrange, Shaping, Boundery function. But that doesn't allow me to make the boundery any further away from the art.

So it looks like a boll cut vertically in half and made hollow with the continent projected on the inside and outside.

Someone told me about Photoshop, that it has eyedropper and fill tools. But I really feel missing with all those complicated tools and get tired of trying to understand what is what. replace the greenish color of the globe with blue one, so it looks more like of the same color as the bottom book from the stack. The rest of the things on the pic should remain the same with their colors. URL....
