View 8 RepliesI used the Screen recording feature to record a little tutorial that is about 4 minutes long. I was shocked, when I watched it afterward, to hear that the sound, although fine at the start, gradually becomes fainter, higher pitch, and overall totally unusable. I thought it was just a fluke but I tried it with 3 videos, and I always get the same problem. I used the settings by default, changing only the file name and location.
Is there more to set for the screen capture to work correctly?
I want to use an external audio recording device to record the sound. I want to disable the audio track from the camera and sync the audio track from my external device with the video from the camera. All of this in editing.

The man's arm that I'm trying to photoshop it onto is bent. I was wondering since the jersey is a vector image, is there any possible way I can manipulate the sleeves of the jersey to a bent shape so it can have a more realistic look when I photoshop it onto the man.

How do I do that in photoshop?
I achieve that effect the cheesy way: MS Office Picture Manager > Crop> resize to desire result> Print Screen (on the keyboard)> Open Paint> Edit > Paste> Save> use MS Office Picture Manager to crop to desire result.
There are two major problems with that: one, I cant get rid of the "crop frame" from within the image; two, the image quality is decidedly bad.
Downloaded photoshopCS 5.1 for windows an when I open up a project an uses the move tool it will not let me manipulate the image

How to best changel color - not as whole but to convert different section to different colors - I've tried the history brush. I've dragged it into illustrator (which I tried live trace). But I'm not quite getting the flexibility of just painting different areas different colors. Also, what angles work best to avoid strange grid effects?
I want to add/manipulate a .gif image which is a 'loading' symbol to my website. I added it without any problem and it works fine. The thing I want and perhaps everyone wants that the 'loading' image should stop and then prompted to the website. Although it seems lame but it gives the website a cool effect and everyone thinks that its 'semi-flash'. So now I want it to stop after 2-3 seconds and then prompted to the rest of the website. Can I do it in Xara Web Designer 7 Premium ?
See the attachment.
Is there a way to take a flattened image and reverse that so you can manipulate the layers? Photoshop allows it.

I have done a search on youtube and a google search, and have alot of info, but not what I'm looking for. I'm using elements 7. Anybody have a good link for me to watch or a good explanaiton. I'm trying to convert some of my digital images into an image that children are able to color in when printed out.
Does anyone know the best way to do this with Photoshop of Paint Shop Pro?
I've been to many tutorial sites but just can't seem to get the right effect.
All I want is for my image to be white with black lines outlining the edges so that my children can be creative and color them in.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a very large piece of artwork in my possession. The artwork was originally drawn in high-resolution on a computer, but a true digital copy of the original is not available to the public.
My copy of the artwork is large enough such that the original pixels can just barely be distinguished by the naked eye. I would like to scan it in at extremely high resolution, or take photos of it (multiple photos of various sections may be necessary for enough resolution). Afterwards, I am wondering if Photoshop, some available filter, or other image-processing program would be able to analyze this ultra-resolution scan and reconstruct a perfect copy of the original digital image?
The idea is that if I can see the original pixels with my eye, Photoshop should be able to likewise deduce all the original pixels of the original digital image, and reconstruct it as such via some algorithm, in the original resolution.
I am trying to alter or create a colorspace preset/profile that would allow me to open a digital image in Lightroom or Photoshop that ultamately changes the colorspace to one that simulates the view of a dog. All I really have to go on is the two spctrums shown in the image below.
View 11 Replies View Relatedthere are two steps that have to be done:
1) convert the new digital image into an black and white one with that special look (is it the contrast, that makes that special b/w-look?)
2) make it look like disturbed or cracked, cut u and incomplete around the corners, a look, that must be the result of that old technique they have used for the photos at that time.
Is it possible to recreate that look for images, done with a digital camera today?(I have added a example image of an "old west show" I did, that is one of the images I would like to manipulate)
Running Ulead Video studio 10 Plus and have used it well for the last few years, on Windows Vista Home ed. Have put the audio on to the project as i always have and ever had any problems wih it. Now though it will only play the sound when the audio clip is selected and not when project is selected, although the coloured lines move on the mixer in both sourround sound and non-surround sound when project is selected.
View 3 Replies View RelatedUsing X5 pro, a project comprising an introduction and 6 clips was created, with menu. Each clip has its own sound (voice and music). The rendering config included 2 pass conversion and normalise sound checked, for creation of a disk image on an HDD folder. The preview worked fine - vision and sound OK. Because there were multiple disks to be made, the image creation also worked fine, as did the burn disk from iso.
But when the resulting disk was played back after burning, the first clip on it had no sound. Imagery fine, just no sound. It wasn't an isolated case. A repeat try - with particular care to check this aspect, ie sound on the clip, was OK during preview - got the same result in the final disk.
If you can use gimp or another (hopefully free) program to insert a music or sound file into an image, or signature say, and have it play when you hover your mouse over it?
