Photoshop :: Merge Files And Remove Non-static Elements
May 23, 2013
Where is the feature that allowed images to be merged while removing non-static elements. I saw a demonstration of removing people from a scene when multiple pictures were taken and the people had changed their positions. This was touted as a feature found only in PS extended a few years ago. I have never been able to locate it.
I tried doing the pen tool frame by frame but it degrades the image. I tried doing a gain reducting but all it does is blur features and not even remove the rain. I looked up a computer science journal that gave a method with K-means clustering but I don't know how to apply it to AE..
I just installed elements v12, >1000 unwanted (*.pdf) files were imported, in error. I can delete them individually, but is there a way to delete them from elements 12 in on fell swoop?
When I remove background and attempt to copy image that left to another picture the imaged that is copied ends up being 4 times bigger then it was and overlaps new picture.
I am placing addresses on a mailer. I need to remove lines where there is a blank field (ex. apartment numbers are on some but not others). I have checked the remove blank lines option in the data merge drop down menu but it doesn't seem to work. I also did the find/change option once the file was created and it also didn't work. I am not sure what possibly could be going on. I am using INdesign CS6 on a mac. Here is a screen shot of the file before the merge, the setting menu, the file after merge and the csv file.
Is there a way to layer or merge 2 of the same image together? 1 image already retouched but too small, 2nd image is large but not retouched yet. Do I have to start over??
I'm new to PS 11. In error, I created a catalogue with several files. I then created a second catalogue with several files. I now find that I was wrong, and I now would like to merge these two different catalogues into a single catalogue without loosing my previous work.
I just downloaded Elements 12 and when i imported photos from Iphoto, I created multiple folders for the same event. I simply want to merge multiple folders into one folder. Can I do that even tho I am in a Trial version?
I have two SDF fileswith simpley polygon, lets say parcels boundary in the A.sdf, each feature has 10 feature data properties, i.e. taxid, owner, zone, value etc in the B.sdf, each feature has 3 feature data properties i.e. area, layer, colour
I would like to move all the features from B.sdf to A.sdf, however at the least I need to ensure that features moved from B.sdf now has the same number (10)of feature data properties as in A.SDF..Only solution I could come up with is to import A.sdf file into Map3D so that I have a datatable. erase all the features, then B.sdf file and use the attach data to attach the table data to each feature then output to A.sdf using append.
One exposure is right for foreground but bleaches out the sky.The other is too dark for the foreground but leaves the sky nicely blue with clouds. How do I merge the light foreground with the darker sky ? All my attempts so far end with the same bleached sky.
I am creating a tradeshow banner (first time), 47" wide by 96" high, with two photos placed one on top and the other below it. How do I accomplish this task in Elements 10 (new user)?
I am using Elements 10 with Windows 8. When I select panoramic merge, the software closes down and I get an error message saying that its encountered a problem and closing dow.
Why I can't merge raw files in photomatix if I select them and take them into photomatix from lightroom. I can take raw files from bridge and merge them in photomatix. When I try this in Lightroom where I would rather do everything unless I need PS, it makes duplicate files in tif, psd, or jpg depending on how its preferences are set. Also when I select photos and tell it to merge them using photomatix the only option it allows me to select is edit a copy with lightroom adjustments. The other two are grayed out! Then I'm left with an HDR photo that I wanted but just a bunch of useless added files lightroom had to create to do it.
I can select the same raw files but use bridge and it will take the raw files into photomatix and I don't end up with a bunch of files I don't want. But then I have an HDR image that isn't imported into lightroom. Is there a work around or is this just the way it is?
I'm using LR 4.3, and would like to know how to determine which .dat cache files are associated with a certain folder of images. I don't know programming code, and, when I open a .dat cache file, I cannot determine which image file it goes with.
I've noticed that when I remove a folder from Lightroom, the cache files for the images in that folder remain, because the size of the cache doesn't change. I know I can flush the cache, but I don't want to have to reload tons of .dat files already present in the cache.
