How do I locate and action that I created in CS5, so I can load it into CS6?
I am running CS5 and 6 using Mac OSX Snow Leopard.

I created two actions, but am now not sure where they reside, to load them into CS6
created an action in cs2 using ctrl-f12. When I hit ctrl-f12, I get a print option and my action does not run.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have 100's of flat images that I have to chop up into 3 parts and save as individual pieces to then load into a separate piece of software.
My problem is that when I start the batch, the 3 new images it creates for each image are simply overwriting each other when saving.
The options for serial numbers etc in the destination field of batch seems to only work for the original file opened, not the 3 new images the action creates/saves.
Sure wish you could manipulate the Column Offset of an Array Action with a Stretch Action.

is there another way of create the [hard linear grain] effect using filters in ps7...cuz when i did the following intruction...there's no such folder "goodies/textures"...or are there any recommend sites which i can download that particular texture...? i think that folder only comes in ps5...
my inverse select keystroke no longer works (shift+ctrl+i), from the menu it works fine though.
Is there some preference somewhere that I may have changed somehow, this is with PS7, no updates.
This has been driving me crazy since the new CS3 version came out. In the old days when I wanted to find the layer my element was on, I'd ctrl-click it (PC) and bang, that layer would be active. One of the most useful shortcuts ever invented...
Which is why Adobe had to go and screw with it. Now all that does is give you the folder, which is useless to me - I often will have 30-40 folders, those having many subfolders and many layers.
The lame replacement I have seen is "oh, click the palette icon of the layer" - which makes NO sense because *I don't know what the layer is* - that's the info I am trying to find out!
Everytime I start CS5 Photoshop I receive an error that states - "The procedure entry point sqlite3_trace could not be located in the dynamic link library sqlite.dll".

I then get a message that Suitcase Fusion 4 is unable to start and auto font activation is turned off.I am using XP Pro SP3. how to reslove this issue.
I am using CS5 64bit and am unable to locate the airbrush tool. Where is it located assuming it exists in CS5?
View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery version of Photoshop on MAC platform before CS6 gave me a path to my image in the finder when I right-clicked or Control Clicked on the title bar. Now I get information I can easily get elsewhere and there's no intuitive way to get my path information.

This is inconsistent with other CS applications as well. after saving an image it works, then if I leave the image open, click on another image, then click back to the one I just saved, the option list is different when I right click.
I get the following message almost, but not every, time that I start Photoshop.
b This application has failed to start because vfzcore.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
I have tried reinstalling Photoshop. But this does not help. I often also get a windows error after photoshop is closed saying that it did not shut down properly.
I suspect that the vfzcore.dll error is due to some 3rd party plug-in. But does anyone have any ideas? These error do not appear to affect the performance of photoshop that I can tell. Everything that I use works fine and it never bombs off (except after closing the program out). But having to hit "OK" at the error dialog every time the program starts up is annoying.
When I open Photoshop 7.0 this error pops up.   "Photoshop.exe-Unable To Locate Component. This application has failed to start because M2000Twn.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I have tried re-installing but get the same error.Â

View 6 Replies View RelatedI did a family session and had the family decide on 54 images they liked that I would edit and I placed them into a collection and editted them well I created a folder in my pictures portion of my computer to place the editted version and now lightroom is stating that the image cannot be found and I tried relocating them to direct them to where they live in the computer file but it states that there are other pictures similar would you like to view this and I hit open but nothing happens so I am extremly worried I have lost these images I dont have backup that exist..
View 2 Replies View Relatedi am trying to build an action where the end product is a channel listing that has all the channel (R-G-B-L-C-Y-M-K (forget LAB a-b)). this will allow me to look at all the channels for contrast and subsequent extraction. i'm actually able to do this as i RECORD the action. but when i RUN the action, nothing happens.
in recording the action, i create a DUPLICATE IMAGE, then convert the new image to LAB. i then drag the "L" channel to the original image. it goes into the original image as an alpha channel which i rename to "Lightness." i then convert the duplicate image to CMYK and then one-by-one DRAG the individual channels to the original image. at the end of this process, i have all eight channels visible in the channels palette. this is what i want.
but then, when i RUN the action on a new image, the action fails to RECORD the "drag step and drop" step. the "L," "C," etc. channels are not dragged during the running of the action.
why does the "drag" step not record in the action
where is the DEFAULT 3D CAD Materials .... I forget the folder... Am using Autocad 2010.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWe are using AD and network smb/cifs home folders and when you create a new document in Illustrator CS6 an error message appears "can't locate startup profiles". try after installin illustrator again". I can look in the folder at ~Library/Application support/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS6/en_GB/New Document Profiles , and it is empty. I can replace the folder with a known working one and all is OK. This only happens with network home folders. If I create a local user and launch Illustrator then everything works as expected and there is no error message.

2- ALL my images have disappeared and i dont know how to locate them - one of my catalogues in the library were missing so i right clicked and pressed find missing file then i located it on my external hardrive and i think i pressed ok now the entire folder does not even show in my library!
i am doing something wrong when i import pics in , and i cant find missing files, i remember a while ago i moved all images off my laptop to and external hardrive but even whe i plug it in i cant find them and all files are dated so its hard to know whats what.. I am trying to apply for a photography job and i cant locate them to put a pdf folio together.
