View 2 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded a trial version of Photoshop 6 to see how it works with video editing. So far it only seems to be able to do a max of 3-3 cuts and then refuses to do any more. I need to edit a 30 min movie. I need to do hundreds. Is this a limitation of Photoshop 6 trial, Photoshop 6? Am I trying to do more than Photoshop can do? I have no problem using Avid or Corel video editing software.

PS is a hobby of mine, but I can't really think of a way to do this outside of regular cut and paste (which looks pretty lame). So I need to be able to:
1. turn the straight clear cut lines into more natural looking tree growth patterns
2. add trees where there currently are none
I am trying to print a full page borderless 11" x 8.5". The long side (11") cuts off about 1/16 of an inch.
I have tried using two different printers using the same 8.5x11" glossy paper.
If it is not the printer, it must be some setting in Photoshop (CS6).
What an I missing.
i have write a jpeg file for backup it will be not working it shows jpeg marker too short trunacted.

I think I used to set it to airbrush but possibly it worked in brush as well. (I cant even figure out how to select an airbrush now) How do I do this in 6?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhile imaging with my Canon T1i last night with my astro club I took probably 75 or 80 pics. Halfway through the session, my battery low indicator came on, so I changed the battery but may not have turned off the camera....I can't remember.....as I continued to shoot and review the images, everything looked and worked fine.  When I returned home and got up this a.m. to review the pics, the last half could not be be opened.  I usually insert my SD card in my laptop to review first before I transfer them over. I kept getting this error on the last half of the images I took :" a jpeg marker segment length is too short. The file may be truncated or incomplete." Is there any way to recover and otherwise save these images?  By not turning the camera off while changing batteries, could that be the reason for the error message?

I need to pan and zoom over a still image to create a short video. I remember the process was to mark a track over the still, with points along this path that required time to transit and the degree of zoom. On playback, it was like a video.
Think of the still as a hillside shot with a road winding from top to bottom. The video captured a zoomed in frame of just the road. Eventually, at the bottom, the frame slowly zoomed out displaying most of the still. How do I do this?
When I use a brush or any of the clonehealing tools the brush start lagging when I do you short and quick strokes.
Â
Longer and continuous strokes don't have any lagging going on.Â
Â
I have reinstalled the driver and tried a few different versions as well but the issue persists. I also tried different settings for the Graphics Processor in preferences but no change.
 Â
I am on an Intuos5 L and before that I had the Intuos 3 A4 and I had the problems with that tablet as well.
Â
 I am on i5 iMac Quad-Core 2.5ghz, 32gb ram Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB - Mac OS X 10.7.5
Â
Update:After a few testing I realized this lagging appears to happen only when I am on Dual monitor setup.
Â
My main monitor is an Eizo CG222W I have Photoshop setup whereby all my tools and panels are on my iMac and the main window with the image is on my Eizo. When I only use my Eizo with tools and panels then the lagging disappears.
I have a problem with PhotoShop CC. I also tested PhotoShop CS5 and PhotoShop CS6, having the same problems (last versions of them). Plugins for PhotoShop are not installed.
Â
My System:
Â
Windows 7 64 Bit with SP1Â Â (newest updates german version)
Intel Core i7-4770k CPU 3.5 Ghz
RAM:Â Â 16 GB DDR3
GPU: GeForce GTX 760 2048 MB MSI N760 TF 2GD5/OC
MainBoard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming
Â
Monitor: Asus PB248Q   1920 x 1200  60 Hz  (connected with Display Port)
Â
All Drivers (GPU, ChipSet of MainBoard)Â are up to date.
Â
My Problem is that the Brush or rubber tool is 0,5 to 1 seconds slower than the mouse cursor. The stroke trails behind. But the brush tool still runs smooth and fluently. Its just slower than the mouse. When mouse stops moving, the brush catch up. The brush even trails behind when cursor is moving slow. When cursor is moving faster, sbrush also moves faster, but brush is never as fast as cursor. Only when cursor does not move, brush catch up.
Â
This even happens when simple brushes for example simple round brush with 100 hardness and 10 pixel of size are used. When removing Smooting in brush settings, brush tool become much faster, but not as fast as cursor. This behaviour occurs in 64 and 32 Bit Version of PhotoShop. Also, GPU Settings was changed (Basic, Normal, Advanced), but without results.Â
Â
When Aero-Surface in windows 7 is disabled, brush tool works much faster, but not smooth and fluently anymore. This also happens when I am working with a document containing only one single layer.I also tested all GPU Settings in PhotoShop (Basic, Normal and Advance), still the same problem.
Â
PhotoShop uses 60% of my Ram (8793 MB)
Â
The strange thing is: When I installed PHotoShop CS5 on my 8 years old computer with Windows XP, Brush tool with same settings was as fast as mouse cursor and it runs really smooth and fluently. The main difference is that my new Computer is using Windows 7, the old one uses Windows XP 32 Bit.
Â
Old System:
Â
Windows XP 32 Bit
AMd Athlon X2Â Â 3700+
2 GB RAM
GeForce 7800 GTXÂ Â (connected with DVI to monitor)
Â
Can it be that PhotoShop has problems with Aero Surface of Windows 7? Or with Windows 7 64 Bit?Â
I'm splicing together a couple of avi files and outputting as a 720p .wmv. The final file is about 15 minutes long. At each of the straight cuts (I'm not using transitions) in the output file, two or three seconds are cut off! I've tried outputting in different formats and it still occurs, but if I shorten the entire file to a minute or so, it doesn't happen. I've tried it with proxy on and off. I've edited in the very same configuration very often previously and haven't had this problem before.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I play the video "clip" mode, it is perfect. When I play the "project" mode, the sound cuts in and out. But not on all clips, just the .mov files. The .wav are fine. I just updated all the patches, (to my knowledge) and tried to make a new project.
I just figured out the the corel does not like .mov files. I converted to .wmw and it works.
I have a .wav file in my composition that I see the waveform going across the entire composition. If I grab the first 10 seconds of my composition and hit 0 on the number pad, it correctly plays the audio the entire time. When I render that composition, making sure audio is enabled, it doesn't work. The resulting .mov file plays the audio for the first 5 seconds and then just abruptly stops.Â

I thought this might be a glitch on my machine at first till I realized that it would not work on any machine in our office. I must have clicked a wrong button or something when installing Autodesk Inventor 13 because it worked perfectly fine in Autodesk Inventor 11.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI made a part in sheet metal and used the Cut tool for cut-outs...i tried by using flatten Patern, draw sketch but this did not cut part...is there a more better way of making these cuts?
INV 2013
I am working on a project where several holes in a sheet metal part will need to be cut as "knockouts". In previous years, either an engineer or the laser cutter programmer would set up the machine to partially cut a circle, but leave a gap to hold the knockout in place (basically a 340 degree arc).
Now that we are using Inventor, is there a way that we can create these features so that they show up in a dwg as a single line? It must be a single line; some of the holes are very small and if the laser makes more than one pass it could affect the integrity of the feature.
The closest I have gotten to accomplishing this is a surface extrusion on the folded part. When I send it to an .idw file, the line appears in the folded model, but I need it to appear in the flat pattern.
I have recently drawn a steel construction, and I am now in the process of making the drawings. A problem that occurs is the length of beams used for bracing. When I click the two outer points, the lower dimension in the drawing appears. This is the length of the line between the two points. To be able to dimension properly, I have made a sketch with a straight line, which is perpendicular to one side of the beam. This has been used, with the point on the opposite side, to find the true beam length (and is showed as the upper of the two dimensions in the picture).
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am making an assembly and some components are "over-sized" and to be prepared/cut down and welded in the field.
I would still like to have an assembly file to show the desired result, but when creating a typical assembly, the over-sized parts do not look good or show a nice final assembly.
What would be the best practice to show a visually appealing final assembly, but not have any effect on the individual part and drawing files?
Only thing I can think of it is to use Model features in the assembly environment.

I have a back plate made out of 2mm Galvanized Steel. And here is the drawing of this back plate flattened out:
You can see that the cut is 5mm between the back plate and bended out part. This part will be laser cut, instead of being punched out.
Here comes the challenge- No matter what is the distance between bended out part and back plate laser will consider there to be two lines for it to cut *one line on the back plate and one line for bended part. And laser will go there two times even if I will make distance of 0,01mm. Is there any way to make this cut as one line, so laser will make one pass cut?
