View 4 RepliesI'm working with a plugin that I need to edit the source code so it can run in NONINTERACTIVE mode. I have no problem compiling it from source - in fact have modified to suit our needs already - but cannot not grasp from GIMP documentation what modifications I need to make it run in NONINTERACTIVE mode. (We have very large images, need to batch process them ....)
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy designers are rendering images in FormZ (CAD program). Form Z has no way to directly output an interactive PDF where you can see a 360 degree view.
FormZ support and lots of info I googled tell me to run it thru PS Extended 3D. It seems that PS CS6 removed the .u3d export function so it does not seem to work. I've tried to go back to CS5.1 but that brings the CAD file in as a smart object and loses the interactive function.
Is there a path thru for either 5.1 or 6? Bottom line is we have the CAD 3D/360 files. We want an interactive PDF where our customers can get that 360 view.
I am thinking of becoming an artist who uses photoshop but the problem is that my hands get cramped being on the computer too much. I was thinking of creating my own interactive whiteboard like Johnny Lee did with the Wiimote. But I don't know if it will work well i.e. will the IR pens not be enough for me to use because with a keyboard I will have ctrl alt and other function buttons.
View 1 Replies View Relatedcs3 had this option when creating a photomerge that made it so much easier to combine several photos when cs3 got lost in trying to merge.
I looked and looked in cs4 for the interactive command, so much simpler than grabbing the eraser and opacity, but I could not find the interactive addition for photomerge. Has it been moved or what ? IIRC in cs3 it was interactive from bridge..
How to make interactive images using Photoshop. A professor of mine created a poster that had interactive graphics that made movements when rolled over as well as graphics.

How can I bring back the interactive layout in Photoshop CC? I downloaded the Photometer plugin but error came up saying 'Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document'.

I know you can design a button in Photoshop, but can you create one that is also interactive? Say if you wanted to do an animation in Photoshop and you wanted a button to go to the next part of the animation?
Should I be importing the gif into After Effects and add the button there? Not sure how it works.
I am pretty new to Adobe Premiere Pro (CS 5.5). Have played with it for a while, but now I want to make some more interavtive videoes, and I have been looking at the two videoes from Adobe covering this issue. My problem is that I don't have Photoshop, only Photoshop Element, and I cannot follow the instructions from adobe, since some of the options they use are not available in Photoshop Elements.
Is it possible to make interactive menus from Photoshop Elements, and if so, is there somewhere I can find an explanation on how to do it?
I've been using Ps CS6 for a couple of months now, and I occasionally used CS5.1 before that. I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with its lack of interactive feedback during many manipulations. A lack of feedback which is provided in applications costing a small fraction of the price. This is 2012, Ps is a leading graphics app in some ways, but in other ways it is pitifully like a relic from the early 1990s.
You have text on a path and you decide to transform that path with Free Transform (Cmd+T). The positions of the text characters don't update while you manipulate the path! You don't see the changes until confirming the transform command.
I create a 3d object in max, how then can I put it on a webpage and let someone interact with it (basic rotate/revolve in 3D for example)
Is this something done by Flash? Or some sort of games engine?
I am trying trying to create an interactive pdf with Adobe InDesign CC. I want to have labeled buttons, that you can click on and it will take you to another page. One the resulting interactive pdf, the button functionality works correctly, but the label/type is not showing up at all.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've ran into an issues with the interactive split tool. Every time I try to create an edge from one place to another it's created at an entirely different point.
Basically, I'll line the dot (excuse my terrible vocab) with one edge, and the other with an edge directly across from it, it'll create a new edge from the first place I specified and end it somewhere else (other than the second point).
I want to know if it's possible to create an interactive rendered fly through of a model I've produced in MAX, the aim to provide our client with a model that they can look at from various angles to get an idea of it's construction!
I think I need to create a simple 'flight sim' type game is this possible?
Imagine you had set up a grid based on little 1x1px boxes.
Wouldn’t it be cool to take your Wacom-Pen and simply color the boxes the way you’d love to?
You could simply set up a solid brush matching your needs …no matter if it’s 1x1 px thin. …or 1000x1000 px heavy.
You could create sharp edged drawings in beautiful colors.
But instead of that solid look, I get shades or halftones even if my brush is set to 1px.
how to create a sharp-edged brush-set-up?
I'm attempting to create an interactive PDF file (starting in AI CS6 16.2.1) with my MPB. When I duplicate an artboard and hold shift to drag it (with content inside) the original board contents move randomly off by 3-4 pixels. Sometimes the original board has certain elements that jump and others don't. It's quite random, and very frustrating as both boards need to be identical. I've checked that align to pixel grid, snap to grid, and snap to point were all turned off.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAm using InDesign 6. Trying to create interactive pictorial Table of Contents and cannot and have set up text hyperlinks to the items in the TOC and text anchor/destination hyperlinks to the location within the document. I set up all the hyperlinks - but then needed to make edits to several items.
Now none of the edited hyperlinks work when the document is pdf'ed (as interactive .pdf). I have tried cutting and pasting text boxes, re-typing text boxes and even copything all the text boxes from a different document into my current document. When I click on new text box to create the link - the "New Hyperlink" option is greyed out.
Recently my company has decided to renew their catalog. The goal is to create a catalog of approximatly 200 products with 3 pages of specifications each. The specifications of the 200 products are stored in a database and used to generate the 3 pages of specifications using Data merge/XML. At this moment I'm able to generate the catalog without any problems.
Because some of the information on the 3rd sheet is not always needed and can confuse some of our customers we wish te be able to hide it. Is there a possibility to generate a PDF catalog that can be slightly modified by the end-users? For example our products come with different options (6-9 )and we want to show only the image and specifications of the options our clients are interested in. My agents (non InDesign users) want to have a interactive catalog (PDF) in wich they can edit some specifications and then save it as a non-interactive catalog to send to their clients.
I have tried using object states, but this only reacts to my mouseover and click commands and won't stay in the desired state.
I’m writing a large book, and so I have created a book file that includes 10 different “chapters” or .INDD files. Within this book I would like to include internal hypertext links that refer to other “chapters”.Unfortunately, these links do not work in my .PDF. I know that my Adobe Acrobat Professional application can “see” these links, because when I move my cursor over these links, the cursor changes from an arrow to a hand tool. But when I click on this link with my mouse, nothing happens. The .PDF does not take me to these links.
Likewise, I would like my Table of Contents to automatically link to the pages that are referenced in it. Again, I can see the “hand tool” when I move my cursor over these Table of Contents entries, but the .PDF does not automatically take me to these references. My first inclination is to suspect that something has gone wrong in the .PDF creation process. I create my .PDFs by opening the Book menu, and pressing “Export Book to .PDF.” When the Export window opens, I choose “Adobe PDF (Interactive)” then I press “Save.” When the Export to Interactive PDF window opens, I make sure that “Create Tagged .PDF” are selected. Under “Buttons and Media” I chose “Select All.” Then I press “Okay” to create the .PDF.Is there a step here that.I would assume that an “Interactive” PDF would allow active links that would have the ability to take me elsewhere within that .PDF. How can I enable InDesign to do this?
Who can tell me how to play an swf in the background of an interactive pdf? I tried a lot and it still play's on top of my artwork
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to export an interactive PDF file using InDesign CS6. It exports fine, and all the content works except for the Folio Overlays I created. I created two Folio Overlays (one Pan & Zoom and one Scrollable Frame). The overlays work if I preview them from the Folio Overlays panel, but they do not work on the PDF document.
I am using File >> Export... to create the PDF document, and I am sure the PDF document is of the interactive type and not the print type. Am I exporting it incorrectly? Is there a specific step that I have missed somewhere? Do I need to create a Folio Build to make the Folio Overlays work?
When I mouse over the Folio Overlays, I get the crosshair cursor which only selects part of the image when I click and drag it.
I want to build a map of my local area, which I have already done in illustrator, and what I want the map to be able to do is when the mouse hovers over a certain area of the map, the map enlarges so that then it is easier for the user to click and find out more. I downloaded the interactive marquee which you can download for free from Simon Widjaja hoping that I could fathom out how to do it but I am still lost.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi'm surprised nobody else has mentioned this problem, but when I place one shape inside another and try to apply transparency to the powerclip, the transparency only affects the original outside object. In addition, only the outer objects fill is affected, and not it's outline. The following image should explain this better.

When I click and drag practically anywhere on a page, the interactive page resize cursor ←|→ appears, and I resize the page.
This is not what I want. Selecting groups of objects is almost impossible now. Is it possible to completely disable interactive page resize?

Sometimes when i want to add an edge between two others edges, the tool just does not create a new edge and I don't see any error popping. Some other time, it will create an edge but it's not going to place it where I wanted it to be. I would like to know how I could fix this problem and or what should i change in the option box.
