I am creating a 3D can that I want to place a label design on. When I open up the mesh (diffuse texture) and place my label design on it, it does not fit properly, it is flipping it and scaling it. I have use the UV properties to scale it but it is doing only a so-so job. How to make this work easily?
View 3 Replieshow can i place the label to be in-line with the bag..From what i can do now, i just can rotate the label to have the same angle as the bag (see the picture below), however, it's still not looked real. It seem like i need to press down more on the left bottom in order to make the picture not too fake.

Is there a way I can design it in illustrator.. save as an interactive pdf and then they can edit it with acrobat? I know with acrobat you can make edits to type but can you make edits to colors, photos, etc? Any other application that they would be able to use without having adobe?

View 1 Replies View Relatedhow to create a label style for design center of road (simple tangent) in profile that will work between multiple profile views. I've used the 'Create Multiple Views' profile view wizard. I use a horizontal dimension style label for CL road (looks just like an autocad linear dimension). I'd like the label work across separate views i.e. stop at view end, pick back up at view start.
The label I currently use is simply a line component from tangent start dimension to tangent end dimension and the text component is anchored to the line midpoint. Label looks as intended for normal use. For some reason the line drops as if looking for the actual pvi at the right side when i use multiple views.
When I reposition structure labels (in their 'dragged state'), the component <[Structure Offset Side(CU)]> does not show up while in drag mode. Sort of makes it hard to see the limits of the label if you are trying to place it in a congested area. Watch the "LT" part of the label in the GIF below.
No, it's not that big of a deal, but alignment labels with the same component do not behave this way, so I have to wonder why the structure labels do.....
If I have a series of lines on a layer, is it possible for a macro to place a label for the lengths of the lines at the center of each line in AutoCAD LT 2012? Adding a DIMLINEAR to each line is for the birds....my drawings have as many as 250-300 lines that need to be labeled with thier lengths.......
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have an existing ground profile, and a design profile. All I want to do is label the slopes of the design. When I click my line label style and turn on the text it labels the existing ground and the design ground. I cannot find the setting in my two profile styles to turn the slopes off in the existing ground.
Oh, how can I get a tick on the V.C. dimension line?
I have an assembly that has somewhere a hole with a round bar that exactly fits in this hole. But when meshing the assembly, the mesh of the hole and the mesh of the bar are different.
The result is that the different parts do only seem to touch each other at the edges of the mesh, resulting in high stresses.

I tried to made a derived part from the assembly, but that one does not finish meshing. After 48 hours, the progress bar is still half way. While the one above did finish in about 15 minutes. What can I do to make the meshes match?
I thought they were supposed to appear when the Polygon shelf is selected? I don't see them. In fact, when I select different shelves the menu items on the right half of the task bar don't change at all. Is this normal?

I am using Photoshop cs6. I purchased a template for magazine advertising purposes. The images have been taken out but there are custom designed objects (masked shapes) where I am supposed to place my images. When I attempt to place a photo into one of the shapes, using the Place Command, it does not work.
How can I place an image into one of the objects?
I am using Photoshop CS6. I have a question about Photoshop command Place.(File- Place) . Here are some pictures below. It shows the problem.
I opened the PSD file that has a green circle(picture 1) and using Place command to import other PSD file that has a red circle(picture2). Those 2 PSD files are same size, same canvas size, 1024x1024. So it should place the red circle precisely on the green circle, but as you can see, if I import the red circle PSD into Green circle PSD, Place command won't place the red circle pensively on the green circle. There is a gap between those 2 circles.(Picture3) It's really frustrating, because I have to move the red circle layer manually to place it just onto the green circle.
This command "Place" isn't reliable, so usually I don't use this command, and use Duplicate layer or group to import contents of other PSD, but if Place command can import other PSD file without this gap problem, I will use it because it's much faster than duplicating.
Do you know why and how to place those 2 files without the gap? Is it a glitch? I should not use Place command to import other PSD file?
I have attach one drawing if you open and copy this from one place to place then dimension is automatically increases. can i know how this increase or what type of this dimension it is.

View 1 Replies View RelatedC3D 2013. We have profile line labels, some of which get manually edited (for example, change the "<[Tangent grade(FP|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|SD|OF)]>" to a static number such as 0.29%).
However, if you CTRL+Click and select one of these labels and change the style of that one label, then the manual edits are lost and the label reverts back to the default string.
Is there any way to turn this behavior off?
Is there a way to "Edit Label Text" in a Parcel area label? Similar to the way you can edit it in other styles.

Then I closed the doce and reopend at a later time to find that not only did the position and scale of the mesh totally change, but I was also no longer able to move, scale or edit it in any way! every time I'd use the 3d tools to move it around or scale it
if one can control the density of meshes created from grayscale images. Is this linked to the image resolution?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSome photo editor has a feature called mesh warp: it overlays a grid over a selected area and the user can drag the points in the grid to distort (warp) the underlying graphics.
The closest thing I found in photoshop is liquify, but it doesn't work quite the same. It's harder to make subtle changes with the liquify tools than with mesh warp.
For example, if I have a photo of a woman with barrel waist and I want to edit her into hour-glass waist, having mesh warp would be handy.

I've imported a simple .obj file with a few beveled faces into my PS doc and then created a simple 3d postcard layer. When I merged the two 3D layers, (.obj file layer is top layer) PS seems to have removed some of the faces in my places .obj file.. ??
What possibly could be happening?
The option for 3d mesh from grayscale is not in my 3d menu set where can I find this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a 3D file at the moment with a free 3D robot I sourced from Turbosquid (I created a new head etc for it) and all is fine, renders fine and looks good.
However, now I want to make some adjustments, and also isolate the robot on it's own for a separate file, but as soon as I edit anything on the PSD I lose all sight of the robots body and arms!!
