Photoshop :: How To Open And View Several Images At Once
Jan 4, 2013
I like to compare and see what images I've worked on and would like to have them all open at one time. In CS4 you could have up to 15 open and reduced so you could compare them at once and quickly move from one to the other. Is this possible in CS6?
I've been having problems selecting images in the library module when multiple images are in view (not down in the timeline, but in the main window). It seems sporadic with which ones it won't let me select, it somehow manages to be the ones that I need to click....!! I just literally can't click it as if it were an image I already imported or something, but it's not grayed out like that. I've been having to select a nearby image then use my arrow keys to navigate to and click the image I need.
I just bought a D90 and I am trying it out with HDR for the first time. I imported the files but they will not show up in PS. They won't even import. I tried converting them to DNG but that failed as well. Does anyone have an Idea on how I can get this to work.
I have a trial of CS6, and I haven't been able to use it yet because whenever I try to open an image, it automatically goes to a image of black and white checkered squares and how to change it to the original image! I figured out that it is because it is in RGB color, which I thought was the best color to have it in. Any other color mode works, but WHY won't RGB work??????
I have installed CS6 trial version and an unable to view opened images (jpg, psd). Bottom of screen sayd "waiting for Bridge CS 6". What do I need to view my images?
After using the tool "Process Multiple Files" I can't seem to view all images in my viewer? Im just taking images down from about 40MB to 15MB and some , mostly the vertical images are not viewable. Meaning I just see the "Jpeg Icon" and thats it. I'm on a Mac Platform...
I having an issue with CC.When electing in the preferences to not open image in Tabs. The images open with only about 25% of the image area showing. Forcing me to (command) 0 for full to screen preview or (command) +/- to see the image.I am not talking about seeing the image at 100% resolution just the entire image within the floating window without having to command before view.
Sidenote: Adobe Customer Service is all based in India. I spent 4 hours on the phone only to hear that this is that way photoshop works. There would be no logical explanation for this. Since the first version of Photoshop this has not been the case.I think this should be called view porn with wife in the room mode. Other than that I see no point.
view on my images they were shot in RAW from camera, downloaded to computer with operating system windows 8, tried to downlaod a DNG converter already no go, tried to re read the previous forums about the converter and plug ins, nothing. viewing my images on my computer once taken off camera shooting in RAW?
how can i view all of a 200mb tiff file of scanned images in Ps? "windows photo viewer" opens all 5 pages of the tiff file. Ps appears to only open the first page of images. how can i view all 5 pages of images in Ps.
I just bought Adobe Elements Photshop and Premier 11. I spent 2 to 3 hours getting my picture video library into Adobe's organizer. I had some problems with duplicate picture (that I wanted to be there - so I had to rename them) and a couple pictures with corrupted metadata. After I got all that sorted out I am a bit miffed about the folder view on Adob'es organizer.
I love that you can switch to folder view - since this is how I have been organizing my pictures for a long time. I would like to continue organizing this way for now until I get a grasp on the other ways I can organize them in elements. However, every time I close and re-open organizer it switches back to the default view instead of folder view. there is a way to set folder view to the default view!
When I open an image it opens in raw first. why? when I need to open an image template say from WHCC it won't show the lines (I'm guessing because of the RAW thing).
I'm using CS5.1-- just installed it. I go to File-->Open--> the image, and no window opens.
It seems the window is hidden because I see an icon in the layers pallet and the icon says it's visible... I can't click anywhere because there is no window to click in "Fit on Screen" doesn't do anything..
We just purchased an Acer laptop computer, picked it up yesterday. Hubby is going to use this strictly for working on his pictures when out of town. He didn't even plan to hook it up to the internet. It has Windows Vista Home Premium, 2G of RAM, 120G of hard drive and a CD/DVD player/recorder. I installed Photoshop CS2, Nik Sharpener, Neatimage noise remover and Huey Pro Calibrater onto the computer last night.
When I opened Photoshop & Bridge, opened a DVD of some RAW images, Bridge would not show the thumbnails and I couldn't open any in Photoshop. In Bridge all that showed was a light blue box with CR2 over it and the file name below for each image. When I tried to open one I got a "Can not complete process due to a program error" message. I did open a jpeg image into Photoshop from the ones included in my documents and had no trouble with that. I didn't acutally try to do anything with it so I'm not sure that any of the options in Photoshop actually work, although they were all active with the jpeg image.
I saw a preference somewhere in PS that told photoshop to open all images at 16.7%. You may be wondering why on earth I would want such an option, but it would come in handy sometimes when opening multiple images of the same size when there is a mix of verticals and horizontals. This way the horizontals would not completely fill the screen, making it easier to navigate through the open images when they are stacked on the screen.
If i zoom in image so it's bigger than "Fit on Screen" then if open/create or go to other opened image and return to 'zoomed' one, PS reposition area i see to right upper corner.
After taking a large batch of pictures, I want to place them in a folder and rapidly view the full images one at a time to select which to keep and which to discard. IN PE-8 how can I display two panes - one pane containing the image file names contained in a folder and the other pane which displays the image of the file name selected? Using the arrow keys, I want to move through image file names one at a time while displaying the image associated with the file name in the other pane.
After selecting the first image, I cannot select the subsequent images I want to include in the the multiple image views available in PSE. How to override the PSE and choose the images I want in the multiple views?
How can I show two images open in Photoshop CS6 - next to each other?
Going through the screen modes by pressing F like in Photoshop CS5 doesn't get me there. That screen mode with the floating windows seems to be missing. I need it for comparisons and for dragging layers between the two images.
Is the floating window screen mode achievable in CS6 or how else can I put two opened images next to each other on Photoshop's workspace?
I have installed and updated both PhotoshopCC and BridgeCC.
I can display the images in Bridge. However, whenever I double-click on them I get the following error message' "Windows cannot find C:ProgramfilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS6 (64 bit). Make sure you typed the name correctly and the try again." I can open the files from PhotoshopCC without going to Bridge.
What can I do? This may be related to the above problem: PhotoshopCC does not seem to set the file associations.
what im trying to do is open multiple images in Photoshop cs3 and then blend the images together. But the problem that i am facing is that i can only open one image at a time.
